The whole experience was very enjoyable, a bit of a mix up with the breakfast order meant checkout took an extra half an hour. The surrounding area meant we never had to go more than a hundred yards from the hotel for dinner and drinking.

Summary
Small friendly boutique hotel, nice toiletries, free water and wifi in the room. Friendly helpful staff. The only downside was the breakfast which was abit tasteless but I would try it again.
Summary
No faults with anything. Staff were awesome and helpful. Had a great breakfast brought to my room at the time I wanted (late morning) with no dramas. The interior is nice and my room was very comfortable. The layout made good use of the space and there was plenty of room to do what I wanted while I was there.

It was our 10th anniversary and this was a let-down, It took more than ten minutes to check in while the receptionist answered the telephone and even mentioning that it was our anniversary failed to elicit a response other than being shown a champagne price-list.
The room was OK, but the a/c was an utter nightmare. The room was very hot and made sleeping impossible. The manager was kind enough to offer a 30% discount, but this hotel seemed to be for one-time tourists. 3/10 (would have been 1/10 without the manager's intervention).
Reception staff were extremely helpful with transport advice and directions, the map we were given on arrival was really helpful.
Lovely big fluffy white towels in the bathroom and nice bathroom toiletries
Great Location- 2 min walk from Farringdon tube stop, bus stop in front of hotel to Old street/shoreditch area. We took a bus and made the short walk to Columbia flower market on Sunday.
Ipod dock added a nice touch so could ready in my room to my own tunes.
The room and bed was on the small side but for the price and location in London that is to be expected so can't complain.
The restaurant in the hotel is good but if you fancy a change opposite the hotel is a great well priced thai restaurant (had dinner one night) and on the side is the modern pantry (recommended by a friend but warned a little more pricey)
At last I've found a London hotel where they actually value your custom. When they say "is everything ok, sir?", they really mean it. Top notch rooms. Didn't get time to sample the food but the bistro is well regarded, so maybe next time...
Summary
This must be the first time I really felt good in. This hotel is not trying to set world records of most chic super clean or overwhelmingly impressive lobby. It doesn't look like any other Hotel we have ever seen. It is just very good looking, the room I chose was beautiful, not too small and a bed with a very comfortable mattress. Most important: the staff is seems to have found the perfect balance between helpful and keeping distant. We did not try lunch or dinner in the hotel but it was tempting.
Summary
The hotel was generally ok but the room size was really small. the bathroom was good and shower excellent. mattress was good. i liked the fact that the window could be fully opened instead of the usual 10cms!!
very little clothes hanging space. no mini fridge in room. staff good. restaurant very good and room service food good (at 3am lol!) but over priced. complimentary coffee facilities mysteriously removed from landing outside room very early on a Saturday morning with no warning or subsequent explanation. lots of contractors banging around throughout saturday and sunday with no apologies for noise disturbance at check out. when situated in rear facing 1st floor room the noise of a door that was used by staff to exit and enter hotel was left to bang shut each time and drove us mad early on saturday and sunday mornings. this sort of thing is totally unacceptable!
could do better! Room for improvement guys!! Customer satisfaction - it's all in the detail!!
Great hotel in great location. Very clean and safe area, good for food, drinks or clubbing. The hotel had great ammenities and the free bikes were handy for exploring. Cant wait to get back to London and would def stay here again.
Summary
Boutique hotel for those with an eye for design, great details and service and an awesome stay
Summary
Would not stay here again or recommend to anyone expecially for business trip as not suitable, very expensive for what was provided.
Summary
One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long time. Excellent customer service, fantastic rooms and and overall positive feeling from my stay at the Zetter.
Summary
Decor all very fashionable. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was small but perfectly well appointed with al the things you need. This was one of the cheapest class of rooms but was still very nice. Shutters on the windows can help keep the noise of swinging Clerkenwell out.
Bathrobes etc all provided and free wi-fi.
Award winning estauraunt very nice although I only had breakfast there.
We stayed at the Zetter Hotel night before London Marathon - lovely room - lovely staff - all round an excellent location to stay and handy for the start of the Marathon
Summary
Really nice rooms, clean smart and well designed APART from the size. The room was VERY small and i'm glad we didn't have to stay more than one night as we were always getting in each others way.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Chic, friendly, sophisticated hotel in one of London's buzziest locations. Always stay here if I can.
Summary
Hotel is nice, location is quiet, room was small but perfectly formed. Staff very pleasant. Bar service was a bit slow for my liking. But the funky room Service vending machines and proper coffee machine on each floor were cool!
Highlight of the stay was beakfast - which was fantastic - i find it amazing how many hotels can screw up such a simple meal - but the Zetter provided one of the best i've eaten. Didn't have an evening meal here - but the 1am room service snack was also very good (Brie and Bacon Baguette) and reasonably priced.
Would recommend and was a good deal at the late room price - but i'd have been more than a little disapointed with the size of room and the bed (which was a v small double) if i'd have paid full price!

I threw my girlfriend a party for her 30th and Zetter was recommended to me as a great place to book for the night as we live in the subs and wanted somewhere to stay that was relatively central.
It was everything i'd hoped for really. the service was great. They ensured our room was ready early so we could drop our bags off at around mid day before heading to the party. The room was trendy and comfortable. The shower was great and the bed was really comfortable.
over all a great stay and my girlfriend was really chuffed. Would recommend and would definitely return.
happy travels.
I was very excited when i was advised I had a superior room, I travel alot and stay in lots of hotels in London so I am aware at the cost and standards, I was very disappointed at what I got fot £160.00 per night...a small box room with no double glazing so very noisey, no decent magazines in room and toiletries very basic. There were no tea and coffee in room but a shared machine that was very noisey so if you wanted a coffee at 2.00AM you woke everyone else up. Room service knocked at 11.00am even though you dont have to vacate room until 12.00. No Breakfast and the room was clean but not the same level as newer boutique hotels.
Did give me a complimentary 2 drink voucher to use next time....£160 for 2 drinks I wont bother
I used to work round the corner from The Zetter and walked past it every day - but never went in. So when I needed a bolthole for a night in the city it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. It did live up to expectations - well designed, friendly staff, great location (the No 55 stops right outside) - Loved the pink light in the room and the general attention to detail - pink knitted hot water bottle cover. The only downside was the heating - which probably was me not figuring the settings right - but seemed to spend most of the night blowing hot and cold and rather noisy. Didn't try the coffee machine or get tempted by the food/drink so cant comment on value for money in that respect.
Would I stay there again? yes if the occasion arose - it isn't easy on the purse but for what you get is worth it
The Zetter was everything I'd hoped it would be. The staff were courteous, the room was cool and the food was amazing! I don't normally stay in that area of London but I highly recommend it for a change. Kings Cross is only a short taxi ride away and St Pauls and The Tate Modern are only a short walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would defiantly stay there again. A+

Summary
For a boutique hotel you expect funky design etc, the room was well designed and thoughtfully laid out, size wise average for london. I have stayed at many hotels globally and I am refreshingly stunned on the fantastic service by all staff - that surpassed any experience I have encounted outside of the Uk, the facilities are great even with bikes to borrow, the bar staff were excellent, even suggesting twists on my usual cocktail :) and the food was great. The staff all seemed generally pleased to be working there, and this exuded a great atmosphere. top marks to all the management and staff. I would stay there again without doubt
Summary
I was lucky to have my room upgraded and found that it was on the top floor with a wonderful view of London. The in-room facilities were great and the room was spic and span and was comfortably edgy. The staff were welcoming, informative and enthusiastic. There was a real buzz in the bar and restaurant in the evening and breakfast was delicious.
Summary
We were impressed by the location of the hotel - overlooking a quiet square a stonesthrow from Smithfield Market and good restaurants. Stylish, clean and low-key hotel with polite, discreet staff. The bathroom was a good size, with a fabulous shower.
We were disappointed by the size of the room - it was very small indeed. OK for the one night we were staying, but any longer would have been difficult. We were also disappointed that there was no kettle in the room - drinks are available at machines on all floors, but it's not the same as being able to make your own. No breakfast was also a bit of a blow!
Drunk and rowdy guests knocking on our door at 2:45am demanding to be let in as they couldn't tell which floor they were on, and then little soundproofing between our room and next door for additional guests (seemingly) moving furniture at 3am (!) took the edge off our stay - but the hotel & staff could not be faulted.
A heads-up about the bar being closed for a private function would have been good. Their restaurant is utterly divine however!
Really nice and very well equipped hotel, bagged at a really good price thanks to laterooms!
Summary
Very clean, u can kiss the floor! Staff very very helpful and friendly but still professional!
Summary
Overall a lovely boutique hotel with great food and quirky decor. I would recommend this hotel and intend to stay again.
Summary
My girlfriend and I overnighted in the Zetter last week and we're now trying to find excuses to stay there again. The room was beautiful (esp. the bathroom) and the food and service were excellent. The quirky décor really works well.
It is neither the cheapest, nor the most expensive hotel I have stayed in, but I preferred it to many more expensive places. My only complaint is the the bed was on the small size - more of a large single than a proper double.
Very good - great place. Informal and stylish, well placed for local pubs, bars and restraunts. St John is the best place to eat locally. If you can't eat there go for the Zetter's own restraunt, in prefeerence to the Modern Pantry - it's dinning area is a bit pokey.
Summary
Very adaquate rooms
nice complimentary coffee
excellent service
rooms lacked impact however this did not detract from our enjoyment
