Well placed and convenient hotel. Very basic but clean. Breakfast reminded me of my hostel days. Bed comfortable, shame our room was so near the dining room. Good value for money.

Summary
No extras in room but clean and updated standard, definitely value for money. Good location as close to Victoria Station but mentioned 3 minutes walk from Victoria is not true, rather 8-10 minutes walk. Would stay again.
Summary
The hotel was great.and good value for money. The staff were all excellent and Agnes was so helpful.I will recommend this hotel to friends and family
Summary
My basement room was small but very clean.
The breakfast room was chaotic on Saturday morning with a small room providing for a large number of people between 0800 and 0915. The problem would be solved by offering breakfast over a longer period say between 0800 and 1000 hours. There is an outdoor patio area with tables which if used in the summer would ease the pressure to some degree.
Convenient with helpful friendly staff
Room small but adequate and clean.
Good shower with plenty hot water.
Excellent location...near the Victoria but also a good choice of places to eat and drink close by.
Summary
Excellent hotel great value for money and very clean. Close to Pimlico and 10 mins stroll (max) to Victoria. Breakfast basic - continental which is all whats needed and plenty of it.
Rooms smallish but adeqaute and would definately stay over again.
What a refreshing change to walk into a London hotel and receive friendly and helpful service. My room (12) was quiet, spotless and comfortable. The area is pleasant with pubs restaurants and shops.
Summary
The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and tidy. A little more information on the room facilities would have been helpful. The breakfast room was a bit small but the food was OK. This hotel seems ideal for short stays.
Summary
Hotel was quiet even though it was on a busy main road. Lift to all floors a big advantage. Dining room was cramped the seats could not all be used as not enough space, this however was a minor thing when we found everything eles very good.
Summary
The hotel was in a lovely location for us, close to a tube station on a major line.
The welcome was lovely and friendly and the receptionist offered to keep our bags for us as we arrived early.
On arrival back at the hotel, we were again greeted warmly. Our room was functional and clean enough - however, it was a little small and lacking a little in colour!
The beds were comfortable - although only 1 pillow was provided per bed. We all slept well despite the room not being particularly sound proof/resistant.
The restaurant is very small, but clean and there was a fairly wide variety of foods on offer for breakfast - although this part of the stay was not particularly child friendly - no yoghurts/variety of fruit etc.
All staff were very polite and friendly and given the location we think it was good value for money.
Having read some of the other reviews on Trip Advisor etc, I was a little wary of booking this hotel, but it was one of the cheaper options within the area of London I was visiting. I have to say though, I was very impressed with the hotel and thoroughly pleased with my choice! Although I was travelling alone, I was assigned a family room which had a double bed and a single bed, which meant plenty of space! The bedroom itself was immaculate, as was the ensuite which looked like it had been refitted recently as it was very modern, lovely and clean. As I was in London for an interview I had to leave early so did not have a chance to sample the breakfast, so used the accommodation only. The one thing that did leave me disappointed was the noise in the hotel. I was in a basement room and my window looked out over a patio, which I thought would mean peace and quiet; however it seems my neighbours had different ideas, and I was woken several times over the course of the night (including 11pm, 3am and 5am) by noisy guests banging in and out of their rooms. Indeed, the walls were so paper thin I could hear one of them declaring he was about to take a shower - I swear he could of been in the room with me, I heard him that clearly! That was the only thing that I can fault the hotel on, otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel, due to its reasonable price, lovely rooms and convenient location.
Summary
In hindsight i wouldnt want to stay here for more than 1 night. The room was small but clean and did have a tv but most of the channels were not able to be watched due to a poor signal. No mobile signal in the room either.
Room was clean and quiet and was reasonably warm considering the outside temperature and the shower was powerful but everything was very basic.
Avoid breakfast unless you are very keen on toast as there was little other option and the breakfast room was far too small to accommodate everyone.
Clean, warm & excellent location (just 20mins from Westminster & less than 5mins from Pimlico). Definitely a no frills type of place. Room small & plainly decorated but bed comfy & TV worked ok. Shower in good working order. No lock on bathroom door. Room doors close noisily! Breakfast area was very small, so we went into town instead. Receptionists polite & friendly.

As above.

Excellent accommodation, very conveniently situated, Clean and comfortable very well looked after. Thank you for very pleasant stay,

Room was clean but quiet small not much space for clothes etc. Menu for breakfast was a bit limited, Staff very courteous and friendly
Summary
Hotel Ok. Hole in room ceiling - otherwise good. Restaurant way too small. Food poor.
Summary
A well situated location, Victoria Station about 10 minute walk, Pimlico underground less than 5 mins. Clean, comfortable room, much cheaper than the nearest Premier Inn, and to a similar standard. Although the breakfast was 'continental' i.e. fairly basic, it is what I would usually take. Full 'English' breakfasts are available nearby for anyone desperate for one in any number of local establishments, and the money saved by staying at the Victoria Inn would more than compensate. The staff were very proficient and polite. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Summary
The room was pokey, not enough room to open the bathroom door without it hitting the bed. there was a damp mark in the roof covered by a peice of wood with staines all over it. on the plus side the bathroom was nice but yet again tiny.
Summary
Not enough pillows on bed breakfast room too small had to wait for breakfast but overall a pleasant stay would reccomend for a short break
Summary
... this was easily the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, with space only for a single bed, tiny closet, and a "desk" that was less than 12 inches deep. To use the desk one has to sit on the end of the bed! The walls are so thin that a lodger has to hope that those around him retire early and behave themselves. I stayed at this hotel for five nights; the first two were in a room with a door to the adjoining room, and that made it seem as if there were no wall at all between me and my neighbors. The ever-courteous hotel staff moved me to a different room but that one was only marginally quieter. The comlimentary breakfast was served in a basement room that is hopelessly unsuitable for the number of guests, and the bland offerings never varied. My bottom line is that if you don't mind cramped quarters, are a sound sleeper, and don't care much about breakfast, this could be a good value for you.
Summary
My room was on the ground floor right next to reception. Very noisy throughout the night with phones ringing and doors being slammed so not a good experience all round. Still, one night only, the room seemed clean enough albeit very small (glad I booked a double room for a sole occupant).
Summary
Very pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. Friendly welcome from Receptionist who was very helpful. Accommodation was exceptionally clean, especially the bathroom. Beds very comfortable and room had windows opening on to back gardens. Very quiet and we both had a very good night's sleep.
The only improvement to this accommodation would be to provide some shelving in the bathroom as no where to put toiletries etc.
I stayed at the victoria inn for one night, it was quiet and the room was well kept. The staff at the reception desk are very helpful and polite. It is well placed near victoria and the royal horticultural halls. The breakfast was also good as it was included in the price.
I would stay again.
Really happy with my stay at the Victoria Inn, fantastic location, really friendly staff and reasonably priced for a london hotel/b&b.
Summary
Very friendly staff, no noise at night, not far from Central London
Summary
I booked a room at this hotel primarily because of the price, location and range of very reasonable reviews. The single room consisted of a double bed and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was basic but satisfactory, considering the overall price. I was going to a gig (Prince!) so this hotel perfectly suited my needs, as I simply required a comfortable bed for the night.
Summary
Pleasant room, clean, airy. Useful that the hotel has a lift . Nice breakfast room.
Summary
We booked the family room which was great - clean, newly decorated etc BUT we got no sleep because of the noise from the street outside our window, and from other guests upstairs. Breakfast was a disaster - not enough seats, no hot drinks, poor choice. It was a great location and smart and clean but what's the use if you have no sleep and no decent breakfast!
Summary
Clean room with basic tea and coffee facilities, very comfortable beds though could do with a couple more pillows. Bathroom with shower was clean and well-maintained. Room was a good size. Breakfast was basic and you serve yourself, but lots of cereal, toast and juices available. All in all a good experience.
Summary
Well you get what you pay for. Clean and simple room. Beware - the hotel is undergoing a refurbishment so no lift and the breakfast room in the basement is tiny so you may have to queue or skip it all together as I did.
Summary
A warm welcome, despite reception being in a broom cupboard due to refurbishment! Don't take a cat - there's no room for swinging! Apart from that a clean quiet room and fresh pastries in the morning (all DIY). It wasn't posh and maybe not worth the £69 I paid but I've stayed in a lot worse and would stay here again.
Summary
Hotel is being refurbished so no reception, NO LIFT, smoking taking place in public areas and breakfast room tiny. I got a clean room which is basically what I wanted. But it was so tiny that you have to manoeuvre round the bathroom door and the cupboard and the bed. And it was on the 5th floor with out a working lift!!!! Breakfast was an interesting experience - tiny room, everyone reaching over each other to get cups, plates, cutlery, jam, milk, coffee, croissants, bread, sugar and so on off different shelves. Chaos.
Summary
Up 5 floors ( lift under repair!) in a cupboard cramped room, no bar thin pillows, good grief!
Summary
Needed somewhere to stay in London that was relatively central but was on a budget. Found the Victoria Inn on Late Rooms and was a little apprehensive as I was booking as "unseen" as it were! I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and my room looked as if it had been recently refurbished so was clean, warm and cosy. There were some builders around the place obviously refurbishing other parts of the guest house but they didn't cause a problem with my stay. Didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on the food.
Summary
Colleagues stayed few doors up, paying 25% more for same standard accomadation.
Good value, great staff, good coffee in room, very comfortable beds. Use it
Although the hotel was okay, it wasn't realy great value for money. i had chosen a slightly more expensive hotel as i was expecting to get a full breakfast - instead i was greeted with stale croissants and cereal
