Worst nights sleep ever

First problem is parking!!then noise from the busy street,noise from inconsiderate chaffs next door( room 109..you know who u are wayne and waynetta) and a fan/boiler which ran all night!! if sleeping( and i use the word loosly) with 2 pillows over your ear to drown out the misery, then this is the place for you...oh and the bed was awful too...won't be back

We enjoyed our stay - friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice & warm and quiet, even though we were near a busy road. Rooms look more luxurious than they are but they are an attempt at solething different. No lift;

Not worth the money paid

When we got there our room was not ready. We had to stand in it while it was cleaned.
It was loud there and we were woken early because of this. The room was small and not worth 100 pounds. Would be happy with it for 35 pound at the most. Will not recommend.

Poor show Tommy Miah's Raj Hotel

Tommy Miah's Raj hotel was much worse than I could have imagined. The bathroom's were tiny and inadequate. We asked to change rooms to have a proper sized bathroom and were told that all the bathrooms were the same size i.e. all tiny and with cramped showers. The hotel rooms were small and basic. The breakfast was adequate and the evening meal was good but we waited over one hour for the food to arrive. Really frustrating! With good management the hotel has the potential to be a nice hotel. But as it is now, my colleagues and I would never return.

Friendly hotel - but a bit far out

Room was very clean but woken twice by people going up and down fire stairs besides my window.

Rodent traps Disconcerting!

Booked a single for 3 nights. Lead into the basement. Small double bed. No bedside light, no natural light save opaque small windows at head height. No headboard. Very small shower room. Shower temp stuck on near steam. 1/2 inch gap between shower door and tray meant floor flooded! Two rodent traps on floor slightly worrying!
Moved on request to single ground floor room. Very small, but no traps. Shower room even smaller and sink so small couldn't wash face in it or shave without difficulty.
The pictures on the website do not reflect the rooms I stayed in so beware.

Itchy scratchy the unseen menace !

The whole place looked and was clean and tidy, however we both noticed after leaving we where both suffering from bed bug bites all up our legs, we would have complained to the manager but we had a early train to catch and had to rush off !

The room is very basic, but great for location. Also, the breakfast buffet had masses of food ith us going for seconds!
