A very beautiful hotel, staff very friendly and it was in a very convenient location.
Summary
I booked this hotel 2 months before our stay and got it through Laterooms for an excellent price. We paid £102 for a double, the room rate in reception was From £235.
We arrive just after 2pm so expected a wait at reception as check in opens at 2pm, however was pleasantly surprised to find that we got served straight away by a very polite receptionist. She told us that we had a lovely room overlooking the park, which we did, She did not tell us however that we had the smallest room in the hotel (according to the plan on the back of our door). There was very little room to get around to the other side of the bed, I was going to write a letter to my friend but there was not enough room to open the envelope.
Other than the size, the decor of the room was excellent, it was well decorated and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The shower was A1 and really powerful, I did not want to get out.
Whether of not they keep the smallest rooms for their 'Lateroom' guests I don't know but I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.
An ok hotel in a great location with great reception staff however no hot breakfast is available either. In the restaurant or in your room before 6.30am. When I had to be in work at 6.30, that wasn't helpful. The concierge did ask the kitchen about it but they were not prepared to make any exception. Had I known this I wouldn't have booked bed and breakfast. Also the shower head needed descaling to avoid the water going in all directions!!
Summary
The standard of decor was higyh but the size of the room poor. It was very difficult for two people to move around so one had to sit on the bed while the other unpacked etc. One person could not sit on the chair as there was insufficient room to pull the chair out! Felt this should be a single room only. Bathroom shower great, as was cleanliness and modern decor of it. There were only 2 teabags available when we got there late which we uded then leaving us no tea for first thing next morning. I would not recommend this hotel to friends travelling as a couple - room far too small
Summary
Excellent staff service
Summary
I was very happy with the room. The customer service was outstanding!
Summary
Lovely reception and breakfast area. Very welcoming staff and a great breakfast. Room deco was really nice however it was incredibly small - you could only just walk around the bed. Room rates should reflect the space you have in a room. Other than that I would stay here again due to positives plus it's in a great location accessible to all the areas we wanted to walk too.

Summary
Very friendly reception. Clean well appointed single room. Good breakfast. Good value at late rooms price.
Summary
The front desk people were brilliant from start to finish, very friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly adequate for a one night stop over, very comfortable and spotlessly clean (something I'm picky about). The only slight concern is that at breakfast in the main restaurant (downstairs) I thought the floor manager was a bit officious, quite often speaking to guests in the same way that he addressed his staff.
Summary
Excellent reception area gave a good first impression. staff were very friendly and helpful. room was spacious and very clean. location was excellent for all aspects of getting around london. car parking in the ibis car park was very secure and reasonably priced. did not eat in the hotel, only because we eat in nice restaurants locally. bar area was nice and service good. only down side was that the tea and coffee were not renewed without asking!!! reported to reception and they were as disappointed as we were!! overall i would stay at the Thistle Euston again.
Summary
Well located for travellers using Euston which is a short walk away. Very pleasant hotel & friendly staff though bar prices can be a bit steep (depending what you're drinking).
Summary
I chose this hotel as it was close to euston station , and i certainly wasnt disappointed ..it was a short walk from the station and when i got to the hotel that certainly didnt disappoint me either.
it was lovely inside , so well decorated. i had to wait till 2 to book in as i got there at 1, so i went to the bar and ordered a tea ..the staff were lovely and attentive . The room was lovely it had a huge bed that was so comfy , and a gorgeous bathroom....everything was spotlessly clean ...did i have any thing negative to say about this hotel.....no , my stay there although it was one night ..was perfect and i would definatley go back here .
Great stay....I chose the hotel on account of the pictures and they certainly dont lie, the hotel was really clean and every thing immaculately placed.
The rooms are basis but well designed and really clean.
It's really close to euston station.
When we wanted to go out for the day they were also happy to look after bags even when we checked out! Some places wouldnt!Would definatly stay again.
The rooms have recently been refurbished and although the rooms were double rooms it was a bit tight. (Room 105) The other thing was that we were above reception and therefore above the bar and each time that someone used a mobile phone or congregated then we could quite easily hear them. This meant that we had a restless night's sleep I don't think that the hotel was that busy so consideration should be given to this. I've stayed at the hotel on several occasions, this was probably my worst experience. I would look to stay elsewhere on my next visit.
The reception, restaurant and bar staff were first class. You couldn't ask for more
The hotel is situated behind Euston Station and therefore not on a main road. It was nice and quiet. The recent upgrade is superb, and everything was spotless. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a nice quiet place in London.
Summary
Would not stay at a Thistle hotel again
Summary
Very handy for euston. Great accomadation and breakfast.
Would request not to have a room adjacent to lift shaft next time, only heard it once in the night, but could be a nuisance if it was used a lot at busier times.
Well worth a visit.
The hotel has benefitted from a recent refurb, some work still appears ongoing but not to the detriment of the customer in my experience. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and everyone appeared happy which spreads to the customer. No hotel in London is cheap but considering the hotels location adjacent to Euston station the rate offerred via Laterooms is very reasonable. Also we were upgraded to a Premier room at no extra cost, never hurts to ask, so all in all on the stay I couldn't fault the hotel at all.
Summary
My partner and I initially booked for one night but enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. The hotel s currently undergoing a renovation and we were lucky enough to have a newly renovated room which was faultless. Breakfast was of a high standard and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location is excellent for sight seeing as you are two minutes from The tube and the unexpected bonus of free parking outside the hotel at weekends was a plus (from 1830hrs on Friday).
Summary
I got one of of the newly refurbished ground floor rooms - which are very smart and, in particular have a great built in shower. Unfortunately, both at 11pm and 7:00, this was tepid and therefore very uncomfortable. The first water which came out of the shower was brown. I got the feeling these rooms have been pressed into service before they are ready, as the room also had 4 electric radiators in it. I have stayed in the hotel before, in the older rooms - so I hope they get it right quickly.

Summary
Friendly staff , hotel was lovely and in a perfect location to get to everything in london
Summary
The room was booked using laterooms. On arrival there were problems over the payment, staff saying they had no record of it. Also stating that breakfast had not been booked. The room was next to the cleaners room and very noisy as staff were talking loudly. Cleaners knocked on the the door at 8am, why I don't know. There was a large gap under the door, again rendering the room noisy and surely a fire safety hazard.
When entering the dining room we were told again that breakfast had not been booked when it had making us feel embarrassed. We have stayed here before which is why we stayed again but this has not been a good experience this time.
Staff were all lovely and the hotel, complete with its ongoing refurbishment, was a delight.
Summary
On a Saturday night, the air conditioning / heating system was not responding well. When I went out to meet friends, after I got back, I realised the housekeeper had come in to the room and noticed the temperature. They then moved in two portable heaters and turned down the bed. When I got back, the room was all nice and warm. All I needed was a quick shower and then off to bed. I never had to pick up the phone to make a complaint.
Summary
Wouldn't return!
Summary
1st My reservation was never received or found at the Hotel, so had to do a whole new booking which cost more.
2nd Had a slight issue with the cleaning of the room.
Convenient location comfortable hotel. Clean and modern. Only problem that the shower pulsed hot and cold water. Would definitely recommend and return myself

Would stay here again
Summary
Very friendly staff at reception, clean room, restaurant quite good too.
Summary
Incredibly disappointed by this hotel. Downstairs and the elevator look lovely however quality of hotel is awful on the 4th floor. Room wasn't nice at all, the bathroom was tired worn and the plug wouldn't stay in the bath. There were cigarette burns or something hideous that I didn't want to investigate on the floor in the room. The door looked like it had at some point been kicked in.
Very very small room, only two light settings with no independant lighting. Genuinely confused to how this room could possibly be 4*.
I was asked by the really polite staff how my stay had been, I said it was alright and was pressed for more information but genuinely just wanted to leave as I was so disappointed. I was offered a 'better room next time I book in' which led me to believe the concierge knew I had a duff room. I've stayed in a great deal of hotels due to my work and hadn't stayed in a Thistle for some time - I can't see any reason to do so in future.
Very noisy whilst refurbishment being completed but good location.
Summary
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Thistle Euston to others
Summary
The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment and whilst on the surface everything looks amazing, when you take a little look closer they have overlooked a few things. For example new tiles in bathroom with an old cracked bath !
Summary
Perfect Location, being 3 minutes from Euston Station. Very good greeting from Hotel Staff. Excellent room, very well furnished. Breakfast very good, with outstanding service.

The food in the top bar was a little slow in being served and the breakfasts were not as hot as we would have liked.
