Great alternative to hotel

We got upgraded to a one bed apartment at bermondsey from a studio at tower hill as I mentioned I was 6 months pregnant and was a late check in so wanted an apartment that was easy to find. Lovely to get that call back offering that so great customer service! Apartment was great - much nicer than a hotel as had the kitchen facility to make breakfast and all the home facilities we needed. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night for a wedding so didn't get a chance to really spend time there however would definitely recommend and stay there again. Very good value for money compared to hotels in the area!

Good value great location

Well worth staying here if you are looking for a self catered apartment in the centre of London. Parking is also available which is a massive plus. The only downside is the knowledge of the reception staff of the local area... they couldn't even direct us to the nearest tube station!!!

Good value spacious accommodation with excellent customer service.

We booked a 'Superior' Apartment.Initial room allocated did not seem to meet that criteria. We queried this and were offered a more spacious room without question. 'Think' spread over a number of separate apartment all very close to Tower Bridge, and bus routes (Tube just over the Bridge).
Customer service excellent -Staff very friendly and helpful.
Would certainly return.

Not as good as I had hoped

The address of the room was a trudge away from when the reservation sent me - not a million miles but when its pouring with rain its not helpfull.
Room was ok - TV did nott work
Contacted reception - may as well have shouted out the window
Nothing done and when I spoke to Reception next morning - not even an apology.

Very Pleasantly Surprised

Having never tried the Think thing, we were a little nervous. It's a different experience to a hotel, with a stripped-down check-in and reception and of course no spa/restaurant/bar. But that's besides, and indeed kind of the point. As a room-only base in a central location, it can't be beaten.
The room is spotless, comfortable and fully featured, and there's plenty of guidance towards nearby facilities. Free wi-fi is a win in an era of rip-off hotel connection charges.
Tips: there's a Costcutter across the road for all the basics, and a Wetherspoon's that opens at 8 on a Sunday morning if you have an urge for a Full English after a big night out!

Amazing upgrade

We booked a studio apartment and we were upgraded to a two bedroom two batbroom. It was very nice, comfortable and we'll equipped. We have stayed at other Think locations and we are big fans of the concept. This was our first time at this one and it was very good. An earlier check in would have been helpful 3pm is a little late.

Excellent

Really good value for the money paid by me.
the checking in process took more time than expected as we were supposed to take a tour .
so we were forced to leave the luggage
we came back and did the checkin.
it was really good place to stay as a family.

Noisy room

The train line was right outside the front of the room directly at the room level so was very noisy and disturbed your sleep i think the first train went passed about 3.45 am did'nt sleep well at all.
The bed was very small and lumpy, the shower room was tiny too. The room was clean though.
I would not stay here again.

The kitchen was very ill equipped - the shower would not drain away and was not clean enough.
Other residents were most inconsiderate and I lacked a good nights sleep whilst there for 5 nights.

Good place to stay

What an excellent alternative to a hotel! We (2 adults + 2 teenage girls) stayed in a 2 bed apt and loved the space and the fact we had a bathroom and an en-suite, no queues in the morning! Everything we could possibly need was there : full oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and even a washing machine. Plenty of space in the open plan living area.
Only drawback was that our apt (no 70) was near the railway and there were plenty of trains, day and night, so we bought earplugs for the 2nd night and slept much better.
The apt. was well situated in an area with plenty of shops, restaurants etc and was only a 5 minute walk to Tower Bridge.

I was very disappointed as I was expecting to be upgraded after taking advantage of a special offer, and I was not. The pictures of accomodation offered in no way resembled the rooms that we had for our stay. They were basic and the bathroom could have done with a good clean. I would not chose to stay there again. Rules stated that late night noise would not be tolerated but we were woken twice, 2am and again at 3am by people arriving back to their rooms.

Perfect for a group!

We only stayed for one night as we were celebrating my birthday in London and it was perfect for what we needed. The appartment was huge and had everything that was advertised. It was lovely to have a fridge and cooking facilities for breakfast in the morning. The location was great although I'd recommend getting a cab to the reception if carrying large cases as it was a bit of a walk from the tube. Excellent value for money and will definitely be looking to visit again next time I'm in london.

Comfortable stay

The room was fine for an overnight stay in London. The bed seemed rather small and as our room was next to the main road we did get woken up by traffic/lorries a couple of times.
The room was overall a good size for a couple and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy.
Reception were very friendly. London apartments are generally overpriced but you are guaranteed a clean comfortable apartment with everything you need with these apartments.

Review of Think Tower Appartments

We enjoyed our stay in Think Tower Bridge Appts. The block was attractively designed and decorated and was bright and airy. It was clear that cleaning was a priority in the public areas as well as the appartments themselves. The staff were friendly and accommodating (e.g. re leaving luggage for a few hours on the day of check out). I would highly recommend this place as a good value location for a short stay in London.

A different way to stay

The studio apartment we stayed in was clean and felt spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and did have a hob and oven (although the website had said it wouldn't). The bathroom was compact but modern and the shower was hot and powerful. We weren't that happy with the television - a very small, old box attached to a digi box that picked up Dave only! And the mattress was too big for the frame, so the sheet came off very easily. If they could fix those two things I'd definitely try it again.

Great accomodation...poor service

What brilliant value, lovely location. We were Very impressed with the room, much bigger that a budget hotel room, with full kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine etc. Lovely modern building offers such great potential but sadly let down by being charged Twice for the room, and having a credit card fee charged when we paid on a debit card....however, a Very lovely email followed so we will return to this great value venue, don't bother with squalid traditional cheap hotels when you can have one of these apartments.

Excellent room, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Free wifi was very much appreciated and a real differentiator from other places such as the more expensive Hilton where I stayed the night before. Unlike some reviews I had absolutely no problem with noise from trains, believe this is down to the room I had compared to others. I would definitely stay here again.

Happy with accommodation

The room comfortably met its promised specification and I very much appreciated the friendly help of employees with a couple of queries I had! I believe I entered "leisure" on an earlier form relating to my stay. This was not an error! That was what I intended but the purpose changed in the course of the visit and the quiet of the room was supportive of this! I would have liked WiFi and was told this may well be added later. Good added value if you can manage it!
