Comfortable stay

The room was fine for an overnight stay in London. The bed seemed rather small and as our room was next to the main road we did get woken up by traffic/lorries a couple of times.
The room was overall a good size for a couple and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy.
Reception were very friendly. London apartments are generally overpriced but you are guaranteed a clean comfortable apartment with everything you need with these apartments.

Rating of think rooms

Firstly I was disappointed that after booking with laterooms.com and paying £97 for a superior room, We than found out that we could have booked direct with "think" and saved 25% due to advance booking. When i tried to to speak to late rooms about this, and the possibility of a concession, they couldn't help! this action alone will stop us from staying here again!
The second thing is although the rooms are modern and fresh they are poorly finished when you look at the details, also the corridors and entrance area feel unfinished and dirty. We had a cracked shower tray, that cut my wife foot (room 403) it had obviously been there for some time!
However the chap on reception was very helpful to us when we arrived

A different way to stay

The studio apartment we stayed in was clean and felt spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and did have a hob and oven (although the website had said it wouldn't). The bathroom was compact but modern and the shower was hot and powerful. We weren't that happy with the television - a very small, old box attached to a digi box that picked up Dave only! And the mattress was too big for the frame, so the sheet came off very easily. If they could fix those two things I'd definitely try it again.

Great place to stay

Excellent room, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Free wifi was very much appreciated and a real differentiator from other places such as the more expensive Hilton where I stayed the night before. Unlike some reviews I had absolutely no problem with noise from trains, believe this is down to the room I had compared to others. I would definitely stay here again.

Happy with accommodation

The room comfortably met its promised specification and I very much appreciated the friendly help of employees with a couple of queries I had! I believe I entered "leisure" on an earlier form relating to my stay. This was not an error! That was what I intended but the purpose changed in the course of the visit and the quiet of the room was supportive of this! I would have liked WiFi and was told this may well be added later. Good added value if you can manage it!

Total rip off

Booked Kingsize got a manky double that looked like folded out a wall
Asked for ground floor or lower floor - got 5th floor and had to ask for last minute change
Not 4 star standard at all & had to walk around various street to find one of many entrances for suites which are located all over area
No one to carry luggage
Shower didn't work
Phone didn't work in room to complain about the room or the shower!
No corridor lights so nearly broke neck going down spiral staircase going back down to make complaint
Heating on so hot at night nearly passed out.

Better Alternative

Once I found the reception (its off the beaten track) the staff were great and directed me to my apartment which was a short walk away... Once inside it was clean and crisp, offering everything you need to make it a home from home. Cost cutters is just over the road as well so once I had dropped my bag in a went to get a Weight Watchers ready meal (there's a built-in microwave and a combi-oven in the apartment) and some breakfast supplies for the morning before retreating to a cosy night in watching TV...
It was much better than staying in a hotel and ordering room service as there's a lounge area so you don't have to watch TV lying on your bed, and another big plus was cutting out the obligatory fatty food you tend to get in hotels (I am on a diet so this was perfect for me).
The only thing was that I only stayed for 1 night so the remainders of the bottle of wine, the margarine etc. that I had bought all had to be left behind and go to waste - I would definitely say that this is a great solution for more than one nights stay though...
