Summary
Really good quality accommodation- and the price we paid was a fantastic last minute deal. Very convenient/central location, lots of places for a coffee/breakfast nearby and a short walk from London Bridge tube.
Summary
I was very impressed with every aspect of this hotel, from the reception staff who were very friendly and helpful, to the quality of the building and the room. The room was very modern, tidy and well equipped and I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others. The location is also very good, only a short walk from various cafes and tube station.
Summary
Several points to note:
1. Noise from people walking past my room in the corridor in the night, - they weren't being particularly noisy, just that the rooms aren't well sound proofed. One particularly heavy footed individual managed to turn my bathroom light on by walking past.
Most nights I found I was awoken at least twice during the night.
2. Quality of finishing is sub-standard. Cupboard doors didn't fit properly, shower door could not be closed - so water went everywhere, cracks in the finishing, fan in toilets did not ever seem to come on. (second room i've stayed in with his issue).
3. Under the bed had not been cleaned in ages (and not a hard job to do seeing as there was nothing to obstruct the passage of cleaning utensils) There was a thick layer of dust which was plastered to the bottom of my bags which I had stored under there for the duration of my stay.
4. Bathroom main door could not be closed properly - badly fitted lock.
5. Television seemed to be set permanently to come on as loud as possible - I had to be at the ready to turn the volume down everytime I turned it on. Remote control could not be used any further than 1 meter from the TV.
6. The first room I was assigned had a cupboard door which could not be closed (hence why I was moved rooms) - to be fair - I was moved very quickly and efficiently by the friendly receptionist.
Great value and exactly as seen on the THINK web site. only negatives were bath towels bit small, cupboard door broken and some paint flaking in wet room. positives were it was very clean, good easy parking locally, friendly reception, half the price of hotel in the area and i accidentally left my purse in the room after checking out!! the cleaner found it, they called me and i got it back . very happy
Summary
Generally very smart apartments but the self catering facilities are poor - the utensils are very cheap (and sparse to say the least). There are no facilities to wash up any dishes etc (no washing up liquid, no drainer, no tea towels, no dishcloths, scourers etc).
The bathroom is very luxurious but a classic example of form over function - the sink is far too shallow and holds about a thimble full of water, the light in the bathroom works on a movement sensor so every time you're in the shower the light goes off and you are plunged into darkness.
The power points in the lounge are all on the opposite side of the room to the table which means you have to trail them across the apartment to work at the table.
These are niggly items -but at the prices being charged should all be addressed as these rooms are not cheap.
My husband and I enjoyed a weekend break in London staying at Think Bermondsey. It was great to stay in a part of London that we didn't know well and were pleasantly surprised. We took time out in Borough Market and sampled some excellent food, walked over Tower Bridge and along the river to St Pauls crossing over to the Tate Modern taking in some culture. We then proceeded to wander back to Think Bermondsey for a well earned rest. In the evening we went to Del Aziz in Bermondsey Square which was a delightful experience. We then returned there the next morning for breakfast which was a relaxing time before heading home. It was a very relaxing weekend and Think Bermondsey was a great base.
My husband and I were more than happy with this accomodation. It is conveniently located, has a well equiped kitchen and a modern compact layout
Summary
We booked this accommodation for easy access to the O2 arena for a concert. The room was a good size for a couple for a weekend . The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The small kitchen was very useful. I would definately recommend these apartments as good value for money.

Summary
The room was clean & warm. It was quiet and perfect for a weekend away and also in a good position for most of London.
Summary
This is the first time I've stayed here. Booked through Late Rooms and got a cracking deal. What a lovely room, a mini studio which was absotutely sparkling clean, with great facilties.
Summary
These apartments have everything you need but they have gone too far with the state of the art fittings. They would be fine if they worked but they don't. Lights that cannot be turned off easily. Bathroom lights that go on when you walk in which is great but who wants to be woken up by bright halogen lights at 04:00am when you just walk past the bathroom for a glass of water!! Why the handle less cupboard doors have been hung so that they touch meaning when you open 1 another 1 comes open with it is beyond me. It can't be that hard to hang doors properly. Apart from all this I would stay here again as it is great to have the space not offered by a room in a hotel.
Summary
Modern, stylish room - very smart and immaculate condition
Summary
My room was too close to the lift and too noisy due to the noise of the lift and people going back and forth.
Summary
Very friendly and helpful staff. Serviced studio flat. Halogen rings hopeless. Impossible to heat butter to cooking temperature. Microwave and cooker worked. Not realistic to self cater though studio a pleasant and very quiet haven. Minimal crockery, egg cups and no saucers. Good fridge.
Summary
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Clean, basic accommodation with a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Ate out, but the facilities looked fine for heating or microwaving a ready meal from M&S or similar. Only stayed one night but would use the accommodation again if visiting London. No complaints. Excellent value for central London.
Summary
Great space; great facilities in the room; great location; good value for money. My only problem was the lighting controls - the loo / shower room was directly next to the bed (separated by a glass door), and the lighting in the shower room was controlled via a movement sensor. Therefore, when one of us got up in the middle of the night to go to the loo, the light came on which immediately woke up the other person in the bed. The light then did not go out for at least 2 minutes, which kept us awake too. Whatever is wrong with a good old fashioned light switch?
Summary
We really enjoyed our mini break. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with our request to book in slightly earlier than expected.

Nice to have an appt and to cook something before we went out clubbing.
but hey, you NEED more mirrors in the main room. how is a girl meant to straighten her hair????
Lovely, clean and very compact. Perfect for the money and good location. Would recommend
Good quality accommodation, some distance from the tube - about 15 minutes brisk walk. Good value for money at the price I paid - 87 GBP.
Summary
After the builders flooded our house we had no choice but to move out for a couple of nights. I'd stayed at Think Tower Bridge before and found this one in Bermondsey Street via Laterooms. The Laterooms price was excellent though the full rate would have been pricey to say the least. Great apartment, really clean, good shower and kitchen, microwave etc. A real haven in the middle of town in a great location for good bars and restaurants - a warm and dry place to relax and plan our revenge on the builders.
Summary
Location is nice, quiet and pleasant however a bit awkward to find
I stayed in the double room and it's equipped with everything you could need - washing machine, dish washer, kettle, toaster, TV + freeview, dining table, microwave-oven + more
very nice for private night with a partner
however the rooms are small but and there isn't much space to move around or storage.
Only issue what the reception didn't answer the phone when I was trying to find it....
Having stayed in other London hotels, and been shocked by the miniscule size of the rooms, I was keen to find somewhere with a little more space. Think Bermondsey Street offered this by effectively splitting out the sleeping area from a relaxing lounge / kitchenette space. I found the apartment perfect for my needs. It was clean, modern, and comfortable.
The location is close enough to the tube stations to walk, but without commanding the higher price that you could be charged to be nearer.
The only downsides:
- I was unable to get either the wireless or network connection in the room to work, but as I had little time to use them this wasn't a major issues;
- the motion sensor in the bathroom determined I was no longer there whilst in the shower, despite moving around.
All in all, a pleasant stay, and I'd definitely stay again at Think in London.
Lovely room, v helpful staff, great location, minutes from London bridge, yet a few independant shops and good pubs and eateries. Free wifi, but couldn't provide sky sports 1 not even at extra cost. Overall brilliant Nd would return happily
Summary
Semi-outside corridors leading to rooms was a surprise, but the rooms themselves are very private, clean, comfortable and have everything you need for your stay.
Summary
Very good value for money. Modern and functional.
Summary
Think is a really great concept, offering small apartments rather than box standard hotel rooms. The whole building has just been refurbished, so that the rooms are currently all brand new. The concept is well thought out and well designed. The apartment we stayed in offered a full kitchen and a small living/dining area. The receptionist was lovely and incredibly helpful. We very much enjoyed staying there and would return anytime and also recommend it to a friend. The area near London Bridge is great and the walk to the tube takes maybe 10 minutes. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
I had booked with lateroom.com and had deliberately booked a twin room. When we arrived we were put in a double room though, and because the booking information indeed did not specify the room type booked, only the number of guests, we were not swapped. I thought that was a bit on the inflexible side, as I understood they had twins available. But hey - the receptionist organised us another blanket in record time, so we put up with it.
I spent 3 evenings at Think Bermondsey and found the place quite pleasant. The apartment was clean and fully equipped - the appliances were quite new and modern-looking. The staff was polite, although not everyone seemed very friendly. The location of the hotel is a bit remote - the area is safe, but the nearest Tube stations (Borough and London Bridge) are about 15 min. away on foot. There are many small grocery stores, fish bars, cafes, and restaurants in the area, which was quite convenient for me. I would gladly stay there again, but next time I am visiting London, I might choose a location closer to a Tube station.
Summary
When we booked online the photos made the place look quite nice, but when we arrived in the evening we weren't even sure if we were game to proceed to the entrance as a member of staff gestured for us to head over to what was supposed to be the front entry of the establishment down a dimly lit side street.
Once inside, things were no more reassuring. The fluoro green colour scheme of the reception area was ghastly. The hallways of the place feel cold and unwelcoming. We had trouble opening our room door once upstairs, and when we were assisted by a staff member, it was revealed that the way to solve this issue was to kick the door open once the key card was swiped.
Our room was clean but unhomely, and having to walk through the bedroom to get to the living area didn't seem to make much sense.
The temperature control panel was not very intuitive to use and could have done with some instructions - or replacement. The bathroom light is very bright, and is activated by a motion sensor - it cannot be turned off manually if you or your partner get up to use the toilet in the middle of the night.
We were looking forward to a pleasant night's stay somewhere simple. I wouldn't stay here again - we would have left at the time if we could've found somewhere else in time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The location of the accommodation was in a pleasant place where it was nice and quiet and easy to find. As for our room it was perfect.. clean, tidy with all the essentials required. Also the staff members was really nice and friendly.
Summary
I'm always a bit sceptical about London hotels and just figure that it's not what you're in London for and as long as it's a place to stay, it's fine, but I have to say I was pleastantly suprised. The location was good - quiet but close to loads of local facilities and attractions. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Cost was the main reason we stayed here - it being the cheapest of the lot in central London that night, but I will definitely return and will recommend it to my friends as somewhere good to stay in central London for less than £100 (providing the price stays that way) :)
Summary
The apartment was very small but good for a few days' stay - had everything including a washing machine and baby dishwasher, and the location is very central if you don't mind a ten minute walk to London Bridge.
However, it does not have air conditioning and the window was only in the sitting area (not the bed area) so was hot at night.
The door handle was loose, and all the cupboards have already started to come loose, despite this being a new build (not complete yet).
The building is quite awesome on Tanner Street. Considering we had booked to stay at Bermondsey Street & weren't expected to be upgraded halfway through the day :) I was pleased with the end result. It was a lovely thrill to get the call during a busy lunch to be told we were going to be upgraded. Altho very businessey-like to look at the edifice makes you feel you are really in London and living the teenies life there! Only downer was the sound of the doors as they closed - really slammed shut - must be a fire*safety precaution but it would intrude on sleep. Once i was aware of it I was watching my doors but the people in the other bedroom weren't :(
Overall a great weekend in London and it's closeby to a Costcutter so you can get all the food/grub/drink you need! For people overseas I would recommend a trip here for a week or two as it is a fully equipped apartment with dishwasher, ironing board, washing machine!! Really nice place and very central. Walking distance from Tower Bridge.
Bermondsey is a great place to spend a weekend or indeed any time. Its lively and interesting and very convenient. Have thought about staying at Think many times but this is the first time I have used it. If I were with a group of friend or staying a week for work maybe this would work well. The chance to cook etc is good. But it is pricey for what it is and compares unfavourably with the Bermondsey Sq hotel just a down the road. Bit too spartan and bleak and too much like a Travelodge to be asking this price.
Summary
I really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was clean and modern. I stayed in a studio apartment on my own and there was plenty of room. I would definitely recommend staying here. Also Bermondsey Street (1 min walk away) has lots of really nice cafes and restaurants.
Summary
Very helpful staff from first contact allowing us to check in early as our room was ready and allowing us to check out an hour later the next day.
Night staff were chatty and gave adivce on travel and restaurants.
Apartment was very clean and of a high standard.
Good location - a nice change from the West End and in walking distsnce of meetings in the City. Downside: 1. A bit of a rough area still late at night? 2. The weather was not too hot when I stayed. The absence of air conditioning would be a real issue had this not been the case.
SummaryReally good quality accommodation- and the price we paid was a fantastic last minute deal.
