Upon arrival late in the evening we were met by a very pleasant member of staff at reception. Room was very clean and tidy - only thing lacking was a mirror in the bedroom and was therefore difficult to style hair. Bedroom could also do with hanging space for clothes (no wardrobe)

The showers were horribleI

I stayed there for two nights and the room was very nice! The staff were friendly when I saw them. If there was one thing that they could improve and fix. It would have to be the showers!!!
I had wait for a couple of minutes for some hot water to come out of the shower. The water pressure was also horrible.

Dirty bedspread and curtains that didn't close

Only needed room to get some shut eye for a night after work. Room was generally clean but the bedspread was horribly stained and the curtains were broken so wouldn't shut. Nightmare to get to as traffic from A406 was horrendous, even at 7.30-8pm.

Stayed one night at the hotel. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Room was small but adequate. A little noise from railway at rear, but double glazing helps. Close to Wembley Stadium ( 15 mins walk.) Would stay again. Excellent value for money so close to Wembley.

Only one reason B&B'S Do breakfast after 8am and that most workmen go before then so they save on Breakfast!!! Had 2 rooms both as bad as each other really, bit dated to say the least, beds were okay though. TV's had very bad reception. Shower was a trickle. I did complain and they put me into a double where it was a lot better room. I do find a lot of hotels on Laterooms offer their worst rooms, and discounts are not realistic. this hotel said its single rooms were £100 and you were saving £60!! If I had paid that I would have been demanding my money back but for £40 its better than no hotel at all.

The hot water issue needs sorting out.

There was a notice in the bathroom that said let the water run for three minutes before using. Well it took at least five minutes to get hot and that is a big waste of water. Sort it out hotel owner.

Pay another tenner and go travelodge

It was cheap but the breakfast was very poor. Two slices of toast and fried eggs. Only fried, they wouldn't boil or poach them. The cereal tasted stale. There was nothing else unless you wanted to pay for a fried breakfast. The coffee was terrible. My room was not very clean. The sink was grubby and there was a stain on the bed cover.
On the plus side the bed was comfortable and they loaned me a hairdryer.

Horrible!

The best thing about my stay at the Wembley Hotel was that it only lasted one night! The outside of the hotel and the reception area are deceptively pleasant . . . but it's all downhill after that. The carpet on the stairways to my room looked dirty and there was an unpleasant odour throughout. My room was by far the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. It was dark and dingy, with stained bed linen. There were three extension leads scattered around the room. One extension lead simply connected to another so it fitted around the room and connected the TV to the power supply. The bathroom was miserable looking and the shower was hung on the wall at a height of 5 feet. Not much use to someone who is 5-11. Furthermore, someone was fitting a new bathroom in the room next door and using power tools and a hammer until 10pm! Not impressed.

Cheap place to stay

If you need a cheap place to stay and don't care about all the little frills that other hotels give you, then this is your place.
The check-in service was good, the room was clean, it was fairly quiet (apart from some squeaking of hallway floorboards and banging of doors but it didn't bother me) and good location.
However, there weren't enough blankets provided, my shower didn't get hot even though I ran it for a good 5 minutes and the TV kept on going in and out of signal...
A cheap place to stay if you just need a place to put your head down but nothing to write home about and not suitable for a romantic stay...

Basic, basic, basic

The only good thing I can say is that it's a short walk to the station.
The room was a double, but so small that I had to climb over my partner to get out of bed! (Not good for an older, larger person!) There was no hanging space either. Even if you only stay one night, you still need somewhere to hang your Gladrags.
The breakfast was pretty grim; no fruit, cheap instant coffee etc.

For London-Wembley, a reasonably priced 2* hotel

I stayed 6 nights and had one the best rooms so the stay was very good. Staff very very friendly. The only exceptions were:
- "Continental breakfast" consists of OJ, cornflakes and 2 fried eggs with toasts! The English breakfast has to be ordered the night before and the breakfast is at rather unreasonable time of 8am - 9am so too late for everything!
- Room cleanliness is a bit of a hit and a miss!
Some rooms are a problem so this explains the very different levels of good vs bad reviews.
For London/Wembley, it is a good hotel to stay and very near good public transport (bus, train and underground/metro). The area seems to be predominantly Indian.

Location, being close to Wembley stadium, is ideal with just a 10 minute walk. Was also very reasonably priced at £50 for a single room. However if you need a hotel for anything else i.e. comfort or drinks; then I wouldn't recommend it. Parking is restricted to 4 cars, bathroom was unclean and the shower didn't work, bar is not well stocked (with either drinks or glasses...we were offered a pint glass with wine!).

This hotel was perfect for my needs i wanted a couple of nights stay to carry out my business program.I would most certainly stay here again.

Wembley Hotel**

Hotel looks newly decorated until you walk the hall ways wooden flooring with big gaps in (which is so noisey when people are going and going at night) marks all up the wall, in your room was a 1990's portable tv with a free view box which could not receive all channels (if you could get thing to switch over). first morning shower running i jumped in & straight back out no hot water, when i return from work i questioned this only this to find them to say there is a notice in the room. (a two inch sticker stating hot water to be run for 3mins) i run the water for the time it took to go out get my evening meal, eat it and return to cold water.

Had the front room 1st floor, very large, clean. Hot drinks facilties working ok. TV a bit low quality, 4 channels only. Furniture / decor a bit old fashioned, but overall in good state. Location excellent, lots of local restaurants / shops and 2 minutes walk to tube. Car parking is a bit of a rip-off, but that's true all over london. Breakfast simple but ok, but VERY thin coffee

Clean, tidy, you get what you pay for

The room is clean and tidy, beddings are changed every day. Towels where not however chanaged every day. Staff was friendly, I guess they just forgot to change the towel, and i am sure they would have changed it if i asked for a new one.
Hot water is a hit and miss business. It was not available every day at every time. I asked about it and was told i had to run it for some time. I did run it for 10 min, but it was not too hot.
The TV is not that useful, it is analog channels only and 4 or 5 barely visible channels.
Breakfast had only cereals, with butter and jam. a worker there will ask you if you want to have fried eggs and toast with that. He is very polite. Coffee was always there, but not the strongest, and tea was not always there

Good location, thats about it.

Good location, being close to the tube and Wembley stadium and the staff where amenable when spoken to, but thats where the good parts stop.
Room was unclean, found used tissues and other items in the drawers, cobwebs in the corner of the room and mould in the bathroom, despite the cleaning products still being stacked within the bathroom. In addition there were rips out of the wall paper. There was no TV, although there was a loose TV arial cable hanging out of the wall. I was only in the room to sleep so didnt make a big issue of it but would have hated to stay here for any longer.
