Very pleased

Excellent stay and stunning location in a spacious, clean and modern hotel.
View amazing from all areas of the hotel.
Bedrooms superb with loads of hot water for bath/shower, suprisingly quiet too.
Staff very helpful and polite.
Great breakfast, unfortunately no time to sample anything else the hotel had to offer.
Would definately book again with laterooms if a simililiar deal is available.

Sleepless night

I had requested a double and ended up in a twin room not a major issue as the single beds were clean, fresh and tidy but obviously built for Hobbits! I am not a big bloke but these were surely only 30 inches wide, convex in shape and very mobile on easy-roll coasters, fantastic for skateboarding not that great to sleepon! The aircon kept blowing hot/warm air even if instructed to cool down the room to 17/18 - a personal sauna was not ideal. Small beds and overly warm dry air is not a good mix for a relaxed nights sleep and when its for two nights it is even worse! I was told this was all that was available unless I wished to pay to up-grade - what was that I said pay more to actually have a bed, room and shower for adults mmmmmm let me think. The bath was small with a non-working old style fixed shower unit and a modern hand held shower with a short hose so other than kneeling in the bath a shower was another hobbit-like experience.Bilbo and friends would have loved every minute - I was not as impressed and will ask for a grown-ups room next time!

The room was very cold when we arrived and we found it difficult to adjust the heating. Although I thought I had booked a double room we were given a twin. The beds were very hard. Despite overlooking the road the room was well insulated from the noise and this did not affect us. The corridors are very dark and dismal.

Good experience

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it's always very clean and of a good standard. The rooms have great views, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The hotel itself needs updating but the service is great. Ive paid various amounts but booking through Late Rooms is always cheaper

Great location

I stayed at the hotel for one night at a special offer rate. I stayed due to the hotel's proximity to the location of my meeting the following morning. I was given a corner room on the first floor and had great views of Tower Bridge, Tower of London and the river. The room was a reasonable size for a London hotel and there was a bath with shower over. The room was comfortable but slightly old-fashioned while the bathroom looked better. Overall, I felt the room was fantastic value in a hotel in an amazing location.
I had a drink in the bar in the evening which has great views of the bridge and the river.

Winter stay

The hotel is in a cracking location but the decor in the rooms and corridors is in much need of some TLC. Shower wasn't up to much and rust was evident on shower rails

Room with a view

The hotel doesn't look too promising from the outside but was really nice once you get in the front door. The location, however, is really good and the view of Tower Bridge is very impressive. Especially so from the bar at night when it is lit up. I arrived at 9 am with the intention of dropping my bag and heading off to meetings. The receptionist suggested he check if there was a room ready and let me check in which was helpful. My room wasn't the most modern but clean and also had a great view of Tower Bridge. Tower Hill tube station and Tower Gateway were about a 10 minute walk which was great. Didn't spend long in the hotel but would return and it was great value.
