What a wonderful hotel ! The room although small was luxurious and staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful, I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. As a woman travelling alone I felt safe and comfortable and wish I could stay here every time I visit London. Treat yourself !!!

Excellent 5* hotel which is in a very good location for visit to London with everywhere central accessible. Staff very courteous, welcoming and helpful and everything about the hotel from the public areas to the bedrooms exuded quality. Lovely outside terrace but limited views. Only had breakfast which was a buffet - not great but plentiful and adequate. Very good value for a late booking.

Stayed for my wife's birthday and was very pleased with the suite. It was very tidy, well appointed and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Only meals taken were breakfast which was very good. Overall a very good place to stay and I would most definitely return.

We stayed for a treat for my Mum's 70th and loved it. Welcoming and helpful staff, excellent facilities, fab location. We stayed on the 6th floor and had a peaceful room at the back with rooftop views. Mum doesn't like lifts so we took the stairs which are marbled and beautiful so worth a peak. Would love to have stayed here for longer.

The room was excellently turned out--all the latest in modern conveniences. My only criticism is that the food service did not come up to the standard of the room. The room service dinner meal delivered was not exactly as described. The fry-up in the morning was cold by the time it arrived. I had to call for a replacement which was delivered speedily.

Staff were great, accommodation comfortable, clean and bright.HOWEVER, the restaurant, by Australian and Asian standards at least, is a 'joke'. It claims to be a cullinary leader (see poster in the elevators) yet delivers poorly presented, bland flavoured, miserly proportioned, over priced food with very attentive service. Suggest a new Chef or a look around at what others can supply for half the price. Advice, sleep in but eat out! Also, we had only TV services. No in-house movies. Poor service for those unable to go out for entertainment.I would shop around before staying here again unless the above matters were addressed.

Good location. The room was clean spacious and silent . My secretary booked the room with her credit card so I couldn't swipe it when came to a hotel. The receptionist was impolite and I felt like in 2-???? 1 starlet hotel.. I could not use the telephone coz I paid by cash. The sandwich was £8-10. Value for money? Not here. Satisfaction? Maybe in 3 star hotels. Overestimated and not worth recommending.

Yet another enjoyable and relaxing visit to the Royal Horseguards. A superb hotel in a wonderful location. Incredibly helpful, friendly and professional staff. From booking in - to booking a taxi on departure - the experience is first class. The restaurant staff - be it breakfast or dinner - are attentive and helpful. The food is of high quality and the occasion a dining exprience. There cannot be a better hotel in London. I have tried several in the past but now stay in no other.

Very good quality hotel - great location. Only 10 mins wlak from Waterloo. Qulaity room. We got a great price that we could not turn down; real luxury. Only down side was that we were give an Internal room - so looked into a Well. Ok if for a couple of days if you are busy - but longer than that and it would have bothered me.

Really good hotel, breakfast was expensive and not worth the money. We had a baby which is only a year old with us and it caused problems as the hotel was not happy to have the baby in the bar. However if you are going without children this is the perfect location.

The hotel lived up to comments we had read from other guests. The rooms were beautifully furnished, and very well maintained. Lots of lovely bathroom products available apart from a shower cap (for my wife). All the staff were trained to a high standard and very welcoming. There was a good choice at breakfast but just one minor gripe, the hot plate failed to keep the scrambled eggs warm, and the fried eggs were past their best, looked plastic and rubbery. But, this did not spoil an otherwise perfect stay. We only stayed for one night but are already planning a longer weekend break in the New Year.Thank you to the hotel for a pleasant nights stay.

we travel to london every november for a luxury weekend and this was the first time at this hotel. Front of house was good our room was good size well furnished and very clean little extras like the telly in the bathroom were nice. Its in an excellent position being near the london eye houses of parliament and theatres. I would certainly use this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in a top class hotel

This hotel is in a fantatic location - really close to embankment. The room was clean and very nice but I'm not quite sure that it's worthy of 5 stars as it's not much better than any 4 star hotel I've stayed in. However I did like the small touches such as the ipod dock, speakers in the toilet and the filter coffee maker. The breakfast in the morning was brilliant! Full english as well as continental. Overall I'd recommend it but not at full price - Late Rooms offered a bargain!

I feel bad that I didn't get back from partying until 5am so didn't get to see much of the room or hotel, but the little that I did see was amazing. A very well-kept, pleasant, friendly, smart hotel with all mod cons. Big TV in the bedroom, small one in the bath. Mini bar, good size wardrobe and plenty of drawers for other bits. Nice desk, smart phones. Very comfortable beds.

A great location. Close to everything (especially The London Eye, Houses of Parliment and Trafalger Square) but still quiet and relaxing. We upgraded to get a view of the river - this was definately worth the extra £20. Breakfast was really good and the staff were helpful and efficient. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it.

I chose this hotel due to the discounts being offered and the standard of the room was excellent. Service checking in was also very good and whilst the room didnt have a view (it faced the back) it meant that coupled with the bed it was one of the best nights sleep in a hotel. The room had 4 different types of tea, 2 coffee, leather chairs and was spotlessly clean

Excellent hotel in a first class location, especially for Waterloo arrivals like us. Special request for a river view was honoured (with only a little delay)....receptionist from Latvia was attentive throughout and a free bottle of red wine was waiting ! Splendid room with views of the Eye and Gherkin etc, especially when dark. Many thanks , faultless throughout our all too brief stay.
