We have stayed at the Rockwell Hotel in Earls Court twice and really enjoyed both stays. The breakfast is really good with a great selection and the staff are always very helpfull.
It's only a two minute walk to the underground 10 minutes walk from the Museums. Room was great for our requirements. It was a good size and very clean.

Highly recommended.....will return to Rockwell ....again.....

Beautifully decorated, loved the tiled entrance hall. Rooms again very contemporary and smart, but very small! As I was only staying over night and out all evening it wasn't a problem for me. Someone of a larger build would struggle to get into the shower cubicle!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Rockwell. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is handy for Earls Court tube. Rooms are well furnished (modern but not minimalist) and are a decent size for London. No parking at hotel but you ca use the NCP at the Marriot hotel...expemsive at 30 overnight though.

Very friendly staff. I was a woman travelling alone on business and I would quite happily stay here again.

We booked this hotel as a treat on...
We booked this hotel as a treat on our 1st wedding anniversary. We normally stay in cheaper hotels (Hoilday Inn Express's and Travelodges).
The standard of the hotel was below our expectations, the booking form led us to believe that the 'deluxe' room type was the best rooms type in the house. When we queried this at the desk the reception simple explained that it was "one of the better room..." and most were the same.
The room was clean and cosy apart from a couple stains on the carpet, the bathroom was adequate (with robes, toiletries etc)
A LCD TV was included with the room (by the sofa), but because of the bed being on a 'upper deck' watching TV in bed was impossible. (but we didn't go there to watch TV - simply an observation)
The mini bar was extremely expensive (as they always are), so if you've not got 2 to spend on a bag of crisps or 35 to spend on a 1/2 bottle of champagne i suggest you goto a expensive London bar - as it is probably cheaper.
There was no complimentary tea/coffee available, however there was a complementary bottle of mineral water (how generous!).
We went out that evening for a meal and to see a west end show only to discover that the hotel bar was shut when we got back 12:30ish, a little disappointing, but no biggy...
Breakfast was around 12-30 each (depending on cooked or continental), so we didn't bother with that.
All in all, it was fine, but nothing special. The porter was very friendly indeed and helped us out when we needed anything.
The front desk staff were a not as friendly as the porter. although were not blatantly rude.
We probably wouldn't come back here again, for an extra 50 we could stay in a far better hotel in a much better situated location.
It would however be very convenient if you need to get to Earl's court arena.
Although promised a superior single room with a view I was given what amounted to no more than a large box room in the middle of the hotel without a walled window, just two skylights. This made the room very oppressive and very hot. I did have air conditioning but this could not be kept on during the night as the room became very cold. The bathroom had to have the ventilation fan all the time which I did not control.
They gave a higher priority to the mini bar which they put in the bedroom whilst the wardrobe was in the bathroom. Not good for one's clothes. Being a well built person I found the dimensions of the shower far too small and found that I had to force the shower door open to get in. All in all an uncomfortable stay.

Friendly check-in, clean and spacious room and good location to tube etc.
Room 207 shower enclosure was very tight for a superior room and the head was fixed at 7ft so not the most enjoyable.
Service was first class in the bar, breakfast, room service and reception. English breakfast is 12.50 each but one of the best ive ever had.
At 180 a night the rate was a little steep and should have really included breakfast.

A beautiful hotel which oozes style the minute you step inside. Friendly service and the garden looks lovely, although it was raining during my stay!
