Booked standard double room but was upgraded to a fantastic room. Luxurious furnishings and superb bathroom. Made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

We had booked a matinee show in London so did we arrived early but that was not a problem for checking in as our room was ready. We had to wait a little while to be served as there was only one receptionist who was having trouble with the computer as they were being very slow to respond to deal with the people in front trying to pay and check out.
The room was small, but clean and acceptable for our needs of one night. It felt cold when we arrived but easy to find the radiator valve to increase the temperature which responded quickly. The bed was comfortable and no noise heard from around the hotel. The shower was difficult and stiff to turn, so much so we had to get assistance but that was not a problem and quickly dealt with some brute force! We had room service for breakfast which arrived at the time we requested but sadly the cooked was cold. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay with easy access to centre of London and walking distance to the train station. We had a lovely walk along the river before leaving.

Reasonable value for money with the added bonus of easy parking, something of a nightmare in Richmond. First impression very good. Nice appealing entrance. Had to wait until 2.15pm for our room to be ready but pleasently suprised at how nice it was,albeit very small. Did not have chance to use the leisure club but breakfast was very nice,especially in the conservatory. Perfect location for a nice "morning after2 stroll in Richmond Park. Only real negative was £4.20 a pint!.

Phone didn't work and no offer was made to put it right and room service pretty shabby couldn't get it together to give us just a glass of champagne only sold by the bottle strange for a four star hotel.
Bed comfy room a little on the small side.

We stayed in room 40 which unfortunately is our only complaint as it was situated in the basement i don,t think that a 4 star hotel should expect you to be in the basement with nothing but a brick wall for a view although it did spoil my first impression of the hotel i have to say everything else was lovely clean and of good quality, staff very polite and helpful.

On arrival I was greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist. He seemed pre-occupied and not at all interested in his customers best interest. The dinner we had in our room very nice and both enjoyed it very much, however the breakfast was cold and uncooked - both the full English breakfast and Continental breakfast was cold.

Excellent hotel and value for money on the Laterooms Booking site. Highly recommend the hotel with out any hesitation. Ideally situated for Richmond's array of shops. Richmond Park literally on the doorstep which would be ideal for walkers/ramblers.

General standard of the hotel was good but service was below average from the front desk. When we arrived at 4pm, of our 2 rooms one was not a twin as requested and the room only had one towel. The worst issue was the restrictions on the use of the leaisure club (being one of the main reasons we chose this hotel). If you have children BEWARE! There are time restrictions on when you can use the pool. We were not informed of this by the front desk when we checked-in. As a result, after waiting for the twin room to be sorted, our boys only had 10 mins in the pool. Stay ruined and front desk was ambivalent. Not good service.

Lovely hotel, staff very helpful & food excellent. Would thoroughly recommend hotel & hope to stay here again in the future.

The Location of the Richmond Gate Hotell is fantastic. Convenient for walks in Richmond Park, and within walking distance of Richmond Shopping Centre, with superb veiws of the River Thames on the way. I would definitely recommend it to overseas visitors
One critisism. The set charge for the buffet breakfast was very expensive if a cooked breakfast was not required
