We were only staying overnight at this hotel so not too long a stay. Staff were friendly and the room on the top floor was clean, but terribly small even by London standards. The wardrobe was behind a panel in the wall and would take about 2-3 items at most, and the bathroom was tiny. Also had a problem I've encountered in quite a few London hotels where the room is very warm and the Air Conditioning doesn't seem effective in cooling it at all.
Summary
The room for the money was a little small and not laid out very well. The wardrobe was behind the bed not very easy to get to.The view out the window was the back of some other houses or hotels. And was a bit of a eyesore to look at.Not the London I expected. Also next to a Lift Shaft.Room 634.Not worth the money we paid for the room.
Summary
Good location, 5 mins walk to Paddington. But really annoying that the advertised free wifi did not work in the rooms, only in reception! I stayed on the ground floor and the room was quite noisy with people walking along the corridor. No iron in the room. Not very suitable for a business stay, although the room was clean and the shower very good.
Summary
Myself and my boyfriend were visiting London for 2 shows, therefore booked for 2 nights at the above hotel. On arrival, others were checking in, yet we were told they wouldnt have a room for us til a couple of hours later. We left our bags with them, and on our return to check in, we were led to a groundfloor room barely fit for single occupancy, let alone a 'deluxe double'. The 'wardrobe consisted of a rail flat against the wall, leaving space for maybe 2 items of clothing? This wardrobe had an internal light that could not be switched off, thus deeming blackout curtains pointless... The bathroom was too compact to spin around, the concept of a wetroom was ridiculous when divided with a shower curtain, yet poor drainage and no extraction at all. Another thing highly irritating, was having only 2 inconsiderately placed plug sockets, miles from a mirror... On taking our criticism to the front desk, we were assured it was a 'deluxe double' and there were no alternative rooms they could move us to... Overall, the room and unhelpful staff with no resolution offered made for a pretty negative experience, and we shall not be recommending this hotel to anyone.
Summary
I chose the hotel in order to be near Paddington Station for a journey the next morning. The staff were welcoming and efficient, my room was delightful with comfy bed and widescreen tv, tasteful decor of wooden panelling with a pleasant view of elegant houses opposite. Enough said. Perfect.
Summary
Really enjoyed our stay as it was close to the town centre
tubes and buses were avaialble every few minutes
hotel was lovely and people were friendly
i would recommend it

Summary
Centrally located hotel, very nice although room was on the small side.
Bar was being refurbished, but otherwise everything was spot on.
Great location and a good value. Staff was not very helpful, but I found the neighborhood fun, and for someone who likes to run, the proximity to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park was great. Easy access to Underground system as well. Paddington Pride Pub nearby was a great food and ale source!
Summary
Everythin fine except the heating - it was absolutely roasting and the temperature control seemed to make absolutely no difference
Summary
Accommodation is clean and service is friendly. Rooms well maintained.
Summary
From the photos and description of the Hotel , the reality was entirely different. We have never stayed in such a small room, with wardrobes literally 6" deep !
At £150 per night - very diappointing
I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms were very modern and spacious. The most comfortable bed I have slept in (apart from my own). Very clean and extras added like tray of fruit and fresh flowers. Breakfast was supberb - buffet style. I would definately stay in The Park Grand London Paddington again.
Summary
Very enjoyable stay.. Hotel staff most hospitable and efficient.
Summary
The hotel was in a good location on a quiet street in Paddington, only a 10 minute walk to Paddington Station for Underground access. Lots of Restaurants, shops and bars close by. Staff were very attentive and friendly as expected.
We were given a room on the first floor that was a funny diagonal shape and was a little cramped for space, lacked any storage space. Only room for 3 shirts in thefunny shaped cupboard. Shower and bathroom was nice and spacious. Only problem we had was that the room heating didnt work and with the sub-zero temperatures outside it soon became really cold and draughty. We woke up frozen and darent get in the shower due to the temperature inside the room, we had to stay fully dressed and under the bedclothes. The water temp wasnt great either, just luke warm.
We complained the next morning and they promptly upgraded us to a better room that was warm and a lot more spacious, so the second nights sleep was much better. Maybe we should have complained the night before.
We didnt eat in the hotel so cant comment on that.
Really nice hotel in a good location (Close to Paddington Station). The rooms are well finished and clean. The whole hotel is very nice. My only negative comment is for the high price of the breakfast.... too expensive unless you want a feast.
Summary
The staff at this hotel were all very helpful and friendly but the room was very narrow and my wife and I have bruised legs from trying to get between wall and bed. We were both kept awake by the fan which was incredibly noisy but would not switch off. Also, there was no mirror in the room except in the bathroom and entrance area and my wife could not plug in the hairdryer near to these mirrors. The bathroom too was very small and the toilet roll holder situated just above the floor which was difficult to reach and got soaking wet after the shower was used
Summary
The hotel was very pleasant. Easy to get to from Paddington Station. My room was a junior suite, a fair size and had everything - even a microwave (what was that for? Heating baby milk?)
I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed the hotel bar was closed in the evening and drinks had to be taken in the room (it was only 10.45pm!).
I would stay there again though.
This break was booked by my daughter & paid in full to one reception staff who forgot to tell the others.!!!! This resulting in a lot of messing around when we checked in. Once they had spoken to my daughter we had a great stay.
Summary
All very enjoyable
Summary
The room was small, no ability to walk arround the bed. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen - they called it a wet room. I got a good discount when booking, hence the value for money aspect was fine, but would not go back as the room borders on claustraphobic
Summary
I stayed here previously and was underwhelmed by the customer service on the Front Desk. I had to wait over 15 minutes to check in while their database synchronised with the hotel's system to pick up my on-line booking. The Club Room was OK - clean and functional - but very grey/dark so felt very depressing. As a hotel, it lacks any real atmosphere. My second visit was a non-event. I called up late afternoon to explain that I'd arrive late in the evening. On arrival a couple of hours later was told that I was being moved to another hotel due to a "maintenance issue" - funny that this just arose and a very surly lady on the front desk made no apology for this. It felt very much like an overbooked hotel looking for a weak excuse. I wouldn't recommend it.
Summary
Great hotel, helpful staff. Would stay there again
Summary
The hotel was fine apart from a noisy air vent that coming on and off. I rang reception and they said they'd send someone. No one arrived but the noise ended anyway so rang them back and said don't bother (the chap said he's not been because he was doing some room service). Then later on it came back on. I tried messing with the air con panel but it wasn't even on. That was my only gripe.
Summary
A very clean Hotel, only a short walk to Paddington, or Lancaster Gate tube stations, good service and food throughout my stay.
Summary
I stay in London regularly. This hotel is good quality and convenient for where I want to be for working in the area.
Summary
The room was very small, which can be expected in central London. However, there was no wardrobe, only a small place in the wall to hang a coat or suit. The bathroom door didn't open all the way and hit the bedside table. The shower was an open air shower with a curtain that made the entire bathroom wet (including the toilet paper which was attached to a ring on the floor). The good points would be that the bed was comfortable, there was a nice television, and the location is good.
Summary
Close to Paddington rail and tube - compact but clean & comprehensive facilities - travelling from NZ I really appreciated the free Wifi - thanks. The fridge was a bonus too! We got a great deal so thank you I would use this hotel again .
Summary
Good location, price worthy room albeit small.
Summary
Good value for money
Summary
Room had a niceinew feel to it and was very clean - everything we wanted for a short break. Would highly recommend the value for money was excellent.
Summary
Stayed in a club room on the top floor for 2 nights which was really smart and the bathroom was a decent size. Lots of choice for breakfast. The quality of the food was evident in the taste and presentation. All staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Hotel is a 5 mintue walk from the Paddington national rail and tube stations which was ideal. Overall a really nice 2 day break!
Summary
Now a regular user of this hotel. Good rooms, friendly staff, connectivity for laptop.
Summary
Good service even when hotel reception is under maintenance - decorating. Extra staff around with usual friendly approach and very helpful.
Good hotel. Chef needs to ensure breakfast staff in kitchen wear a hair net (hairs found in mushrooms)
Summary
Good quality, friendly service.
Summary
The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, but somewhat cramped for space. in particular there was very restricted wardrobe space. Huge windows and compact bathroom with a decent shower.
Summary
No complaints at all apart from I had the issue of the type of room I had booked not being available when I arrived and was moved to another type of room. Seems a few people have had that problem, which is a shame as other than that a great value hotel.
Summary
All okay. no problems
