Room was good but on the small side for a double
Summary
There are good things about The Mandeville. Location, decor, food and drink are good.
No tea or coffee in small, noisy rooms with see through bathroom doors not so good.
Perhaps these things are too much to hope for now on the London hotel scene but as a result what could possibly have become our regular London bolt hole will not be revisited.
Excellent upmarket hotel. fully enjoyed our stay. only thing we werent sure about was the frosted glass door to the toilet! Otherwise a real taste of the high life.
Summary
The hotel is wonderfully located near Oxford St, and staff very very pleasant and helpful. The room was not large but very comfortable. However, it did not have tea and coffee making facilities - you had to order from room service at some expense - and after arrival/day out/early morning tea/coffee is really essential. So we would not return.
Summary
Great loations close to the shops and restaurants.
Breakfast was expencive but great settings
We stayed at "the New Mandeville" 30 years ago on our honeymoon, it has changed but the service is very good. Ten minutes walk from Oxford Street, ideal for the underground and the street it is on is quiet.
Summary
Myself and my wife had a great stay at this modern clean and friendly hotel. The location was central couldn't be better and our stay was a possitive one which we will probably repeat so yes we would recomend this hotel. One very small complaint which we did leave at reception when checking out. There were no tea making facilities in our lovely room which we found strange. The lady on reception did say that some rooms did have tea making so if this is a must for you I suggest you request this when booking!

Summary
Only meals taken were 2 continental breakfasts. The only available cereals were organic cornflakes and sunflower etc. seeds - not acceptable at £17.35 per person! There were no side plates on the table. Restaurant decor awful.
Service was uniformly pleasant and efficient.
Bathroom was excellent in our superior room.
