Ticked all the boxes although a tad expensive in my mind compared to others I've stayed in.

I was impressed with the Manager, who quickly resolved a noisy couple next door. 10/10 for the way he handled it.

A good find! Will be staying again

A good find. Nice room and staff very helpful and friendly.
Food very good - breakfast excellent and nice touch with selection
of papers available to read. Good selection of pies too!
Good location for South Bank and not that far for theatres.
Very happy and will be back

Nice hotel in an excellent location

I stayed in a twin room with my mum-in-law overnight as we were seeing a gig at the O2. The location is perfect - 20 mins on the tube from the O2 and a 5 minute walk from the station. The staff were really courteous and helpful, the room was clean and well presented with everything we needed. Also, there were no problems with noise, either outside or from other guests. We were really impressed overall and I'd definitely stay there again.

Quiet & comfortable

Room very quiet & comfortable. Paid £95 for one night (no breakfast included) which is about right for this location. I have seen this hotel for £150 per night! Wouldn't pay that!! Rooms are very nice though & will definitely keep a watchful eye on their prices for those odd occasions when I need to stay in London for work.

Good location, reasonable value for money.

One of the secondary double glazing window panes was missing which made the room very noisy as it was facing the main road. To be fair I was offered an alternative room.
Staff very helpful - hotel needs a bit of modernisation (new beds and carpets) but overall it was perfectly reasonable and good value at the £70 rate I paid.

Could be better

Hotel is in excellent location, staff are friendly and helpful and room was clean and comfortable. However, both room and hotel showing signs of wear and tear - neither the toilet roll holder nor the heater in the room was properly affixed to the wall and, despite having reported these problems, they were not fixed during our stay. Needs more attention to detail.

Doesn't really have a restaurant - just pies etc. Beer excellent. Cooked breakfast mediocre, but continental breakfast is a good buffet. Room good for price point and a bit more character than the modern chains
