What you need to know
The Mad Hatter is one of six boutique hotels owned by the Fuller Ale Brewing company. With just 30 bedrooms and its own traditional pub it's a hotel with more charm and character than most chain hotels; one with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. You might wonder about the name until you realise that the building was formerly an Edwardian-era hat factory, now with an adapted façade that Dickens would recognise. You will find some fine vintage men's and ladies' hats on display in the pub. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the river and ideally situated for easy excursions to some of London's major attractions.
