What an amazing experience it was staying at The Landmark! I give this place. Top Marks!
Looking forward to staying in this hotel as I had often passed by it when arriving at Marylebone station. Room itself was tastefully decorated but the en-suite was definetly below par. The toilet took so long to refill we had to use the kettle to top up the cistern. Comfortable bed so a good nights sleep. On arrival we took a seat in the atrium area to be told there was no tea or refreshments offered in that area. The bar area was in the basement all very dark and a strange seating arrangement. Then we asked about using the spa to be told there would be a daily charge per person all very disappointing and not in line with the landmarks competitors for example St Pancras where we had stayed only a few months previously. The pool itself was a good design but in the ladies changing rooms only one shower out of three was working. All in all not an experience that justified the hotels reputation or the price of the accommodation. However a good location.

We've just returned from a weekend trip to celebrate our daughter's birthday and we had a fantastic time. The hotel looks (and smells) just beautiful and the staff were some of the most pleasant I have ever encountered at a London hotel. Our room (and en suite bathroom) was enormous. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and maintained that way by invisible staff throughout our stay. The staff in the Mirror Bar were just delightful and next time we stay (there will definitely be a next time!), we will probably not bother booking external restaurants but instead eat at the hotel. The hotel is ideally located as well. A perfect base for a perfect weekend.

Had room service delivered and made - Chicken Ceaser Salad. - Chicken was cold uncooked and looked like they had scrapped it up of the A40! Breakfast was cold.
Summary
Lovely hotel with fantastic atrium. Need to be wealthy to eat and drink there.
Summary
We have just returned from a most enjoyable weekend at the Landmark Hotel. The quality of service, the accommodation and the overall experience was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the exceptional friendliness of the hotel staff who were most pleasant and informative but not in that intrusive way you sometimes come across.
Our superior room overlooking the Atrium was faultless and we particularly enjoyed the background piano playing and the lovely ambience it relayed. It was most relaxing and added to the wonderful atmosphere we enjoyed over the whole weekend. After a hard day’s sightseeing the Mirror Bar provided a perfect and elegant venue for a nightcap and again the staff were outstanding.
I would thoroughly recommend the Landmark to anyone - they made us so welcome that I cannot wait to return. We have now decided this is the only hotel we will stay in when we come to London as it is unmatched in beauty, quality and service..
We had a deluxe room. It was a good size but
Only I set of toiletries
No complimentary water or tea coffee making facilities
Bar staff appalling. At the only bar we were at first told at 11.10 pm that the bar was closed despite being advertised as open until midnight. They reluctantly gave us a drink when I mentioned this.
Hotel very dissappointing and not worth the price
This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in . If you get the chance please grab it with both hand. Fantastic room and great staff Thank you.

A great stay at one of London's classic hotels and a great price paid too

Used the "LateRooms" website and booked a simple double room for New Year’s Eve to stay over and see the fireworks. Our hotel turned out to be The Landmark Hotel.
On registering (at 6 pm) - we were told that we were being "upgraded ". (pressure on rooms perhaps ?) - what did we get ?............the Landmark Suite !!!. (You must look it up on their website) Truly Fabulous accommodation. Made this New Year’s Eve a totally unique and one-off experience. Never to be forgotten – or repeated for that matter – except if we won the lottery - then definitely.
The hotel is an awesome building and well deserves the five star reputation. Every aspect of the service was exceptional right from check-in through to check-out and the provision of a taxi. The accommodation was immaculate, pristine and huge. We only managed to investigate about %80 of what was available to us and believe that to fully appreciate the suite would have required at least a couple of nights stay.
No tables were available in the restaurant for an evening meal so we availed ourselves of the room service and had our evening meal in our (private) dining room (part of the suite). Again - exceptional service. Asked room service how long the order would take – 30 mins was the reply and the meal was delivered on the dot. The food was sumptuous and cooked to perfection – although we did cheat a little and bring our own vino (budgetary considerations you understand.)
All in all – a truly memorable experience for every ‘right reason’ you could think of.
Whilst the room, service and hotel surroundings were very nice as expected from a 5 star, we were quite surprised that you pay for literally everything else that you would normally expect as part of your visit to a 5 star hotel. For example, there were no tea service in the room and we paid £10 each for a visit to the gym! Be warned.
Summary
Lovely hotel - stayed two nights between Christmas and new year. Super room. Breakfast good on first morning but on second morning were located in a conference room rather than the main dining room and the experience was poor.

1st class hotel

I could not fault the Hotel in anyway, everything was clean & tidy and the staff were excellent (couldn't do enough for you). Valet Parking also. Excellent value and this is why they have a 5 Star rating... Thank you Landmark London...
Summary
Bedrooms did not reflect a 5 star hotel. For the cost it would have been nice for the breakfast to have been included or at least be reduced from £29.00 per person.
However, the hotel is ideal for the tube station.
This was only a one night stay and could not fault anything except that despite the hotel being a non-smoking establishment the bedroom that used to be a smoking room still smelled incredibly of stale cigarette smoke. Only one thing to do and that is rip out the carpets and wallpaper to get that smell out. Could have been value for money if the room did not smell.
Summary
We arrived at about lunch time and were shown to the Winter Garden where we had the perfect lunch in a most delightful atmosphere. The person who checked us in came and told us that our room was ready and our bags were in the room. It was a lovely comfortable accommodation.

Summary
Wonderful hotel at an amazing price. Even managed to get an upgrade for £30 and the room was ready immediately (10.30 am!). Location in the middle of London. Staff so friendly throughout the stay. A memorable anniversary surprise for my husband. Cant fault it or the ease of booking the hotel through LateRooms. We will definately be doing this again.
Summary
We arrived at the Landmark excited and looking forward to relaxing romantic break. Yet our anticipation was very short lived. From the time we arrived, to the time we departed it was a let down.
We parked the car and went to reception and waited to be served. When we were eventually served, the hotel could not find our reservation. The receptionist kept us waiting for what seemed like an eternity, as she left us and went into a completely different room. It made us feel as if we didnt belong! We then gave our reservation number but shortly afterwards I had to give over my phone to prove the booking. The hotel had no record. We did not feel welcomed or the patronage of a 5* hotel. Instead we were left feeling second class.
The bill was not explained to us, despite the fact that it was a different price.
Our room was large and clean and comfortable but what worried us more was the mark up or charge for everything - despite staying in a 5 star hotel there was not even the simplest thought or gesture to show that you were special.
You were anonymous and would have to pay extra for anything to make you feel special.
In your room not even water or tea or coffee were complimentary. ( a standard in mid range B & Bs)
So ..
its a romantic break and we wanted to indulge ourselves. We are not poor and can afford to splurge when we want to but here, this seemed more like rip off Britain than, pamper or honour your guests.
Lets order some Champagne as we would have done but a look at the prices was astonishing. A bottle of champagne that would cost just over £30 in a shop across the road was £80. Of course there are mark ups and we do not expect to pay a shop price but over 100%! A look at the minbar from a kit Kat to bottles of standard water at £4. Everything was too over priced.
We had brought our swimming kits to use the pool but we could only do this if we joined as day members for £15.
So overpriced and lacking in quality service
but then we were awoken in the night several times by noise in the corridor. Babies crying were audible over our TV and as we lay in the morning drifting back off to sleep, a child knocked on our door over and over again.
But at least there was a car park - ahh! this came at an additional charge of £40. Should have known, Its free to park on many of the side streets next to the hotel on a sunday.
So we will not return and wonder whether all the other 5* hotels in London are the same. That they make you feel anonymous and only care if you pay through the nose for everything.
Instead we will opt for the charm and personal service we know of exists in other hotels.
This was my first stay at the Landmark Hotel and it was outstanding in every respect. Everything about the stay was as you'd expect from a 5* hotel. The room was large and well maintained, the service unobtrusive and refined and the location was excellent.

Lovely hotel and great location. The staff we meet where very welcoming and helpfull

The hotel is sited on a main road with heavy trafic to noisy for me you cant open the window for the nois
Summary
The atrium is an amazing setting for a superb breakfast. Every member of staff we encountered was perfect in every way and the cleanliness was immaculate. Great location for getting to Oxford Street and the West End. £4.95 for a Coke in the Mirror Bar is totally ridiculous though.
Summary
Hotel Room was fantastic, enormous bed and bathroom. Spa was great, very tranquil and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, lunch was nice but had a disappointing starter for the price. Service was first class throughout.
Summary
Had an enjoyable stay, would certainly recomend this fab hotel, service was 1st class.
Summary
The room accomodations were classic, spacious and suitable for a family of 4. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The in-house parking was convenient, in addition to being next to Marylebone Rail and Tube station to get around London. Would definitely return.
Summary
Food quality verygooxd but hit or miss and many items missed of order and long waits. The beds in our room weresupposedto be queens but were double and extremely uncomfortable which let's the hotel down.
Summary
When you book the cheapest room available in a London hotel you don't expect too much for your money. I was pleasantly surprised to find a quiet (atrium facing and no neighbour noise), nicely proportioned room decorated in a thoughtfully coordinated colour scheme. The bathroom was small but contained everything I needed and the shower over the bath was efficient and didn't flood the room. The overall level of housekeeping was excellent.
I had a light supper and breakfast in the atrium dining area where the service was professional and friendly. The food was nicely presented and good. The breakfast buffet was attractively laid out and fresh juice, good coffee and toast arrived very quickly on request.
Reception and restaurant staff were uniformly pleasant and heplful. I only spent one night here but left feeling very relaxed and would certainly return to this hotel.
Our family room was large, comfortable and quiet. The children (8 and 4 years) loved the pool but were restricted to 0600 -1000 and 1600 - 1700. For us, a longer evening period would have been more convenient and better value for money, we paid £15 per adult and £9 per child to use the pool one morning. We had room service on two evenings and ordered the same meal twice, it was different each time. This food was not 5*. However, we found the breakfast to be very good and good value for a family. The children pay their age and can choose from the full menu. We would stay at this hotel again but probably not with the children. The atmosphere is stiff and formal and it is not possible to completely relax with young children.
Summary
I would like to praise a member of staff there, called Michelangelo. Lovely chap, very helpful
Summary
The atrium is one of the best places in London to have breakfast (£22 per head for lovely buffet choice), and the cocktails at the Mirror Bar were superb. A few downsides though....
The hotel was far from full but our room was as far from the lift as you could get. Another case of "lateroom rooms" which I don't like. Make me feel like a second class visitor.
Really slow service at check in and departure.
I think to charge guests £15 per head to use the pool area is pretty cheapskate frankly. The room rate isn't properly comparable if "hidden charges" like this are added. And even worse it was midnight to midnight so if you wanted a swim in the morning too, that's another £15 per head. Ridiculous.
Excellent service all round. Dinner in the Atrium was first class with their Summer Menu proving to be excellent value.

Go it's stunning. Breakfast superb.
Summary
Fantastic hotel with great location 5 mins from Regents Park. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great room with loads of space although decor not very inspiring, but couldn't fault cleanliness.
Had fantastic afternoon;pricey at £43 a head for champagne deal but worth it for a special treat.
Food otherwsie very expensive so didn't eat in apart from afternnon tea; disappointing that no tea making facilities in our room; I guess they want to make as much out of you as possible.
