Whilst the property has been reshaped, the owners have reverted back to its original name 'The Kingsley' in respect to its literary heritage and clergyman, university professor, historian, and novelist Charles Kingsley and the Bloomsbury Set. The Kingsley Hotel’s luxury four star setting mixes contemporary comfort with Edwardian charm. It has an affordable luxury feel and is here to impress. with public areas have also been transformed including the new restaurant and bar which offer a twist of traditional Edwardian features with modern furnishings and soft atmospheric lighting. But it’s not just the aesthetic look of the hotel that’s changed; we’ve also changed the name of the hotel. Formerly known as Thistle Bloomsbury, the hotel has reverted back to its original name of ‘The Kingsley’ Located in the heart of Bloomsbury, you can easily wander into Covent Garden and Soho and is close to its close proximity to either the Holborn or Tottenham Court Road tube stations with a choice of Charing Cross Railway Station and national rail stations or for leisure breaks to enjoy some of the capital’s best attractions.
