A lovely pub in a quiet street

We've stayed at the Harrison twice now - it's very close to King's Cross, but in a quiet side street. The food is fantastic and they serve Timothy Taylor Landlord, which is one of my favourite beers. Excellent room, friendly staff and a great breakfast the next day too.

It's a good place to stay for 1-2 nights

I stayed with my baby and my mom for 1 night. Everything was ok, staff was really helpful. It's a little bit noisy in the evening because of the people in the pub. Also when tv is on in the next room you can here everything.

Weekend in London

The hotel was fine, the room was clean as was the en suite bathroom. The staff were very polite and friendly. The room was just big enough; fine to stay overnight. The shower was very small; anyone significantly overweight would struggle. It wasn't very hot or powerful either sadly. The food was very good; we would highly recommend.

Slightly bland

Very clean and comfortable. 2 minor comments - if you are a light sleeper the bathroom fans are very intrusive and the walls fairly thin. The room was well equipped but a nice picture would add some warmth.

Enjoyable stay at the Harrison Gastro Pub which is within easy access for Kings X being only 5 mins walk away. The accommodation was very basic but the bed linen and bathroom were lovely and clean. The beds also were nice and comfortable. The paintwork was a bit tired and there are only stairs up to the bedrooms. You can select your breakfast content the night before and it is ready and waiting for you the next morning at the time you stipulate. On the whole it was an ideal location and quite adequate. I would certainly consider going back again.

Bed was clean and fresh, trickle of hot water for shower, felt like I was in someone's spare room

The accommodation was central, easy enough to find, nice breakfast. The room was above the kitchen so was as bit noisy early in the morning. Very basic, poor shower, a trickle of hot water. Nice toiletries but really felt like I was in someone's spare room, not a Hotel. V expensive for the experience.

Nice room with a delicious breakfast

Stayed at The Harrison on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. The room wasn't large (but this is central London, so this was expected), however it was nicely decorated in pale colours and clean. Breakfast was included and there was a wide selection and the quality was excellent and brought to our room as a standard option. The location was great for walking to St. Pancras for an early morning train and also good transport links for most of London.

Good value for money and great food

For the price, The Harrison is good value for money. The bedroom was clean although the stairway and corridor areas were less well-maintained. Excellent breakfast and a delicious Sunday lunch. Very convenient for King's Cross/St Pancras stations and public transport into Central London, made all the better by its back-street location away from too much traffic noise - a rare thing in London.

Good value in London, great location and nice and quiet at night

I thought the Harrison was good value compared to other places i have stayed in London, the room was clean and bright, staff were pleasant. It was nice to have breakfast in the bar, a good choice of breakfast dishes, fresh fruit, eggs etc. Breakfast staff very cheerful, and good service provided. Great location as very near to Kings Cross and yet you got a good night's sleep as it is in a quiet area as described. Only criticism was shower area needs updating perhaps. But the water was nice and hot.

Our Stay at the Harrison Kings Cross London

We booked an evening meal. Marvellous food with excellent service. The room was light and airy with a larger than normal bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and very clean with ample tea & coffee facilities in the room. There was only 4 bedrooms which was good and apart from the usual noisy guests at quarter to two in the morning who think they are the only ones in the hotel we slept very well. They kindly allowed us to leave our luggage before & after our stay which we appreciated. The staff are all lovely. We are only 500 yards from Kings Cross Station yet traffic on this street was minimal. We would stay here again no problem.

One night stay at the Harrison

A great place to stay, 5 -10 mins walk to Kings Cross or Euston stations, a great laid back atmosphere in the pup, staff polite and friendly and probarbly the best full english that I have ever had in a hotel. Well worth the money and a refreshing change from stuffy hotels.
My only small critisism was that there was no white sugar or milk in the rooms, and the cups had seen better days, would highly reccomend.

Only had breakfast but it was very good, thought room was a bit sparce though, could do with cheering the place up a bit. could do with some net curtains so not overlooked by offices opposite, glad we stayed on a weekend when no one was working. A tad pricey for the room, under £100 would be more realistic, overall though a nice place.

Friendly and helpful staff.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was basic but very clean and spacious with a double and single bed. The bathroom had a power shower and was absolultey fine. The pub was situated in a quiet area about 10 mins walk from Kings Cross station which was very central for all underground lines. The fact it was above a pub did not impact on us at all as it wasn't in any way rowdy, except that it was handy for a meal and a drink. I went with my daughter and we would definately go back.

Great pub, good food and a pleasant room

I have stayed at the Harrison Pub a couple of times whilst working in London. I like my food, and the food here is great. The pub downstairs has an excellent atmosphere, with a good range of drinks, but any noise (people talking) does not infiltrate the room. The room was clean and equiped (basic Freeview, wireless, kettle), the shower is wet and warm but could do with a bit more power. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
As a cheaper option in London, this The Harrison is great!

Great alternative to hotel accommodation...

Great location just 10 mins walk, if that, from Kings Cross St Pancras station. Fairly quiet location in a more residential area. We had dinner in the pub, good atmosphere, pretty laid back. Full English Breakfast in the morning was great. Definitely an alternative to some less impersonal accommodation providers in the locality.

Lovely wee place, nice people

It doesn't look that promising - being above a bar, but this is a superb place. really lovely people who run it too. the rooms are two floors above the bar (nice bar, closes at 11) so no worries there. well furnished - modern, stylish. nice and tidy and best of all the feast of a breakfast laid on in your room at no extra cost. excellent and of course a great location for bloomsbury, king's cross, euston, camden, islington, soho...

Great find

The Harrison is a little off the beaten track of the Euston Road, but that just means it's nice and quiet! The rooms are good, with all the facilities you would need, though the wifi wasn't working on our visit and it has only the most basic Sky package. We were in town for a wedding, so food on the Saturday night was taken care of and we didn't sample the good looking menu at The Harrison. We did sample the included cooked breakfast though, and it was both plentiful and excellent, arriving at the prearranged time and tasting absolutely perfect for the morning after the night before!

Lovely B&B

Room was clean with plenty of space, and was quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and agreed to look after our bags for the day after we checked out. Breakfast was included - you are given a choice of breakfasts and whether you'd like it to be served in the room or the bar - we chose a full English which was served to us in the room on a huge tray, it was absolutely delicious but none of us could finish it. When we went back to collect our bags we saw other customers being served a Sunday roast which looked good, so we ordered meals from there which were amazing.
Would definitely recommend and will probably be staying here again.

Central location, nice rooms, good price

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are newly decorated and comfortable with free wifi, though with no fan or air-con a little warm on a summer's evening. The inclusive English breakfast had good ingredients, but unfortunately is cooked to be ready for the time you say you will be down, rather than when you actually turn up. I was 20 minutes late, so my breakfast was a little shrivelled after being kept under the warmer for that long - my own fault I guess, but I am used to hotels cooking breakfast to order.
