On arrival were informed we had been upgraded. Luxury for an overnight stay.
Would consider returning with the family as it would be a perfect home from home when visiting London.

We had a good experience at this hotel, from the surprise bottle of wine on arrival to the very, very quiet bedroom (a real boon and a rarety in London).
Our room, 104, consisted of a lounge, small kitchen area with microwave and washing machine, bathroom and bedroom with twin beds. The lounge looked out onto the road outside the hotel and you could clearly hear the sound of passers-by and traffic (it's not a busy road, but there's some circulation at most hours) but the bedroom (facing the rear) was insulated by two thick doors and a small hallway, which meant it remained almost completely silent.
If I keep mentioning noise, it's because it's my #1 issue with most London hotels. London's a noisy place, but that doesn't mean guests should have to just grin and bear it. And the Collingham's solution worked a treat, in our room at least.
If you're on foot, the hotel's nearly equidistant from Earls Court and Gloucester Road stations (about 7 minutes each) and the museum area around South Kensington is perfectly walkable too.
All the advantages of a first class hotel without the formality. Central location with easy access to majority of London attractions and safe area for walking around. This is our third visit and we were highly satisfied in all respects. The front desk personel were particularly helpful and the daily servicing/cleaning exceptional.
Summary
Excellent Accomodation - apartments are lovely - spacious, well equipped and modern. We were given a bottle of wine and chocolates - a lovely touch. A good selection of restaurants nearby and a good location for tubes to covent garden, leicester square etc. Far nicer option to a hotel room
Summary
Excellent - the configuration of the apartment was excellent for myself and my wife and two older boys - having the large sitting room was an excellent plus and with the poor weather during this period - cold and extremely wet - made this a major advantage. In addition two family members rented a small apartment in the same complex and enabled them to join us also without feeling cramped.

On arrival at the apartments we were given an upgrade from the studio apartment we had booked.
To our utter delight we had a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room/ kitchen and a patio which was all a bonus. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and very comfortable.
This is the first time we have stayed in an apartment and were very apprehensive but will definately return to the Collingham Apartments.
Everything excellent
Summary
I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a superior apartment on arrival so my comments need to be considered in that context - but the size and quality of the apartment I stayed in was easily enough for a single person to stay long term, let alone a couple of days - it felt like a proper, characterful little flat in a very attractive and convenient part of the city. I had asked for a quiet room and was not disturbed by street noise - only by the sound of people walking around in the apartment above late during the first night of my stay - but hardly a big deal. It was extremely clean - the staff were friendly and helpful, and, as a woman travelling solo, I felt completely secure and looked after. Highly recommended.
Summary
I booked this property for a client and they gave her a dingy room in the basement with horrible carpets. my client managed to get a better room for the night, athough they were not keen to change her room and didnt want to refund her. she moved out of the property the morning after and foudn an alternative hotel.
Summary
Spent 3 nights here with my daughter. Was upgraded to 1 bed apartment overlooking a charming garden. Rooms spacious and well furnished. Kitchen had all you needed, big TV and sofa to relax and comfy bed. Location handy for Gloucester Rd tube but far enough back to be quiet. We got lost on arrival and phoned Laterooms. They phoned the apartments and talked us through directions to find a member of staff standing at the corner waiting for us. Now that's what I call service! Also, I left my wallet with bank cards in the safe, Beverley the Manager did some research, phoned me and posted my wallet to me! Above and beyond the call of duty I think. I would recommend this property most highly. We'll be back!
Summary
We were very pleased with this choice & it certainly delivered on it's promises. The staff could not do enough to assist us & the living accomodation, was modern, tasteful & clean! I would very much recommend this, especially with the added bonus of a fantastic location! We will be staying again!!
Summary
We were delighted with our experience of The Collingham Apartments - as a first visit to London for our boys - aged 8 and 10 it couldn't have been better - close to the Museums and shops and yet quite. The apartment was spacious and having two bedrooms and bathrooms enabled us all to have a refreshing sleep so we were ready to hit the city again the next day. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need so we did our own breakfast. The lounge was spacious with two big comfortable sofas and a large flat screen TV which kept the boys happy. Delighted - and a great price from LateRooms which gave us a whole flat instead of a room full of beds that we could have had round the corner for the same price.
Summary
I have to say that I usually find London hotels overpriced and rather rushed. However, the Collingham Apartments were a pleasure from first to last. The manager is very friendly and tried to upgrade us when we arrived. We were also given a few gifts when we entered our room which was a lovely touch on Valentine's Day. I'd thoroughly recommend it!
Summary
The apartment is great for families. The apartment is on the Piccadilly line, so there is no need to change lines which is great for people travel from King's Cross.
Overall the apartment was clean and spacious. The bed was confortable, kitchen was nice.
The only thing was that the TV doesn't seem to work properly, and we didn't bother to ask why. But everything else was nice!

First rate service, immaculate accommodation in an elegant building in a stylish part of the city
Summary
It was clean and spacious and well equipped, and I would for sure go back again. Kitchen was nice, beds comfortable, and the dining room lovely. We did not miss anything. We got the hint that they turn off the heating at nights as it could be rather cold at 4 in the morning (in January), but a spare blanket and PJ's saved the day. The apartments are almost 20 minutes by tube to central London, but being on the Piccadilly line you at least do not need to change trains on your way, and as such the commute did not bother us.
Summary
Had a last minute meeting in the nightbridge area and laterooms provided this company as a contender. Collingham upgraded me to a 2bed 2 bathroom room (room 101) on the ground floor which was far mroe than I needed. Very clean, tidy & I would definitely stay again.
Summary
The apartments are a 5 to 10 minute walk from Gloucester Road station. You emerge from the Tibe onto Glos. road, head right, turn right into Harrington Gardens and keep going straight. The road eventually becomes Collingham Gardens and the apartments are on the right side when you approach it fom here. We were able to walk to the museums on Cromwell Road quite easily from here. Near the tube station there is a choice of supermarkets including Waitrose and Tesco. There is also Sainsburys, quite close by.
We stayed in 101 which was on the ground floor (two bedrooms and two baths). this was convenient because you didn't need to take the stairs or the lift, but not very good because the second bedroom was below ground level and both bedrooms looked out onto brickwork, didn't really matter but on another visit would like to try another set of rooms! There was plenty of space for our family of three which we would not get in a London hotel in a million years. The only negatives were,: the bathrooms are a bit tired, and on our second day after heavy rains, the rooms had been sprayed with air freshener that was strong and not entirely pleasant.
As always wonderful!!!!!! spotless, staff very helpful.... every time we go we head for it as its the perfect location home from home but holiday mood, I love it much more than a hotel for the space wonderful beds and even though central London so quiet.
Summary
Stayed here over New Years 2011/2012 and was very pleased with the price at such a busy period. Appartment was very spacious, clean and tidy and in a perfect location in Kensington. Would definitely recommend to a friend and I would stay here again if travelling to London. Fantastic stay.
Summary
One night stay for NYE in central London - very smart and clean facilites including a welcomed upgrade to one bed roomed suite. The kitchen facilites were spot on, no need to take/buy any excess stuff such as tea towels etc. The Reception team all very polite and helpful. The complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits a small but very welcome touch - never had time to drink the wine and left in fridge.
Summary
Found myself in a small room with a cupboard for a kitchen- had to go through shower-room to put coats away. Staff very helpful when I discovered my mobile barely working, presumably because we were down in a basement, with no view. No free internet available either.
Summary
Nice apartment and generally very clean and tidy. Few stains in the carpets but nothing too shabby. Well positioned for easy access to tube station and nice and quiet. Would recommend. There were 5 of us staying overnight so one landed the sofa bed but it worked out cheaper than most other London hotels and better quality.
Summary
First time stay in a serviced apartment and I was very impressed. Great location (only 5 minute walk from tube), lots of space in the room and friendly staff. I would strongly recommend staying here over hotel room!!
Summary
Pleasant accommodation, nothing fancy but spotlessly clean and handy for tube station and Waitrose and various restaurants, in a quiet street. Staff were helpful and cheerful which is always a bonus. A good quality kitchen with welcoming touches, comfortable beds and windows that open all added to our overall experience and we would definitely stay here again.
Summary
Have stayed several times at Collingham and enjoyed every one.
Summary
Everything you could possible want is provided by the well ttrained staff of this smart west London appartment. building. Welcome gifts and letter, tea coffee and milk, information folder and all the TV channels on a modern flat screen. Fixtures and fitting of a high quality and the appartment was spotlessly clean. Close to Gloucester road tube, nearby Waitrose and numerous excellent restaurants.
Summary
Excellent cant be faulted.. Second visit and definitely not my last!!
Summary
This was a fabulous apartment - spacious and high ceilings, furnished to a high standard and very clean. Staff were very friendly. The only negative I can think of was that the free Daily Mail lowered the tone - I didn't expect a free paper, but in somewhere of this calibre surely a broadsheet would be appropriate!
Summary
Stayed here for a few days in November 2011. Was upgraded, which was very nice. Apartment was spacious and well designed, with everything a family would need for a short stay. It was very clean, and location was excellent. near Kensington, with tube, and local shops nearby. Friendly helpful staff. would definitely stay again.
Summary
We were a family of 4 staying at the Collingham Apart. and have previously had fairly poor experiences with self service apartments in London with the photos always looking better than the real thing, this was certainly Not the case with Collingham. The apartment was absolutely Huge and finished really nicely, they felt very clean and were full of all of the mod cons needed and appreciated when travelling as a family. We will definitely be staying on our next trip to London.
Summary
We were very happy at Collingham Appartments, it's a very good option to visit London. Very clean, very well situated, very big.
Summary
Well located, quiet street. Spacious one bed apartment offered to us as upgrade on arrival. Only surprise was no shampoo or shower gel - we used Fairy Liquid!
Summary
Very pleasantly surprised. Fantastic location and the room had everything: comfy bed, shower, kitchenette, flat screen tv, wi-fi (not free!). Close to tubes and some great restaurants round the corner too. Definitely recommend it.
Summary
The standard of accommodation is very high and what I really liked was the fact that they had some tea, coffee, milk and sugar available on our arrrival which was wonderful after a very long trip. Another plus was there were plenty of towels, including tea towels and some fairy liquid. I have stayed in many apartments and it drives me mad that each time I have to go and buy fairy liquid, salt and pepper etc so I was so pleased to see everything was available in the apartment.
A really nice touch was the abundance of magazines available to the guests but I thought this service could be abused by some guests and to be honest in these days when costs are a big factor perhaps just one in each apartment would be enough and then it could be reflected in reducing the room tariff.
I paid £129 for a studio apartment which was value for money in itself but when my boyfriend and I arrived at the reception we were informed that we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment free of charge which was amazing. The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. They are located in a lovely area which is easy to find and get to by bus or tube with a tube station just a few streets away. There is also a sainsburys and waitrose just minutes away which is perfect.
The apartments themselves had everything we needed and more and it was honestly a shame that we were only staying for one night. If I needed to stay in London again I would choose to stay at Collingham apartments again over any other hotel.
Really great Apartment very clean, modern and nicely decorated would definitely stay again. Great discounted price and when we arrived we were up graded to the 3 bedroom Penthouse Apartment. It made are stay even more special
Summary
A reasonable choice for the price charged. Very inflexible with check out time, even a 30 minutes extension was denied outright despite the hotel was not full.
Summary
On arrival were informed we had been upgraded. Luxury for an overnight stay.
Would consider returning with the family as it would be a perfect home from home when visiting London.
