Summary
Hotel is in a great location to the tubes and to travel around London
Summary
The service was efficient if a little impersonal. The room was clean and quite well appointed. The hotel was well-placed for the purposes of our stay.
Summary
In my view, the best of the Bloomsbury townhouse hotels - smart and luxurious, good service and decent sized rooms. Central location for all amenities including great noodles at Wagamamas.
Summary
We were welcomed very well pleasant and informative staff. Up graded room excellent nice and quiet veery convenient for tube and theatres.
Summary
Just spent a weekend at The Clarendon. It just about ticked all the boxes for a short break, good location for sightseeing, friendly staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere. The room was fairly compact but perfectly adequate. The only downside was the staff's inability to replace our kettle after informing them of it's demise after our first cup of tea.
Summary
As the title says ok just for sleeping and getting ready to go out.
All was clean but shower was not very powerful.
When we arrived we was told breakfast was extra 23 quid each for full English.
The bar was also tiny and was just 4 armchairs which was disappointing
Tiny room and far too hot and stuffy, heating was on full blast and no way of turning it down, no air conditioning, unable to leave window open due to traffic noise. Overall not a very comfortable stay.
Summary
This is a lovely Hotel, very convenient to get most places in London. I booked at the last moment and got a good rate - I wouln't want to pay the original quoted rate though. I know London Hotels are expensive - this being the reason for the absolute last minute booking. This particular Hotel is in a lovely quiet street - well worth considering. The quality of the room was excellent. I did not eat at the Hotel though.
Summary
Lovely staff, cheerful and helpful. The hotel was bright clean and comfortable. I was given a basement room, and was bit put off at the thought of this, but it turn out to be comfy with little noise. Obviously there was no view but I wasnt there for leisure and managed to sleep well on the 3 nights I stayed there. On the last night my kettle wasnt working and a replacement was not available, I was offered jugs of water but I felt uncomfortable asking for this. So that was the one very small downside to my experience at the Clarendon
Summary
First visit to this hotel, was upgraded from double to a king..Nice room, little draughty at one end because of window that would not close properly.
Summary
The Clarendon was a lovely hotel in an ideal location to take advantage of many attractions in London
Summary
Good quality, centrally located
Summary
Great location and much more enjoyable than staying in a big brand hotel in the middle of London. Felt much more personal.
Summary
Clean pleasant hotel staff very accomodating
Summary
This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. The staff were very smart, helpful and efficient. The room located on the 3rd Floor, front, although quite compact was very well presented with a comfortable bed and high quality fixtures and fittings. The level of value for money was outstanding. Very happy to return and to recommend this hotel to others. The room did not have a fridge or air conditioning which may be a drawback for some guests.
Summary
We booked this hotel last minute and got an excellent deal. We would certainly consider doing this again and will look to book this hotel in the future when we are looking to stay in London in a centrally located hotel.
Summary
Great Hotel and location. On arrival we was upgraded which was a lovely surprise! Clean, hotel bed was very comfy and big! This hotel was ideal as we were out in Covent Garden. Easy access to the tube station 5 minute walk. Great Hotel to go shopping, and bars.
Summary
Lovely accom polite staff
Summary
The location of the hotel was excellent within easy walking distance of attractions, cafes, and Euston station. We were upgraded on arrival to a king size room, which was spacious with a large bathroom. The room was clean and warm. Customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Summary
Enjoy my overnight stay. Would stay again when in town
Summary
Only stayed there, have decided to eat outside. A very clean Hotel with large bathroom and a huge bed! The only one downside is the Reception staff. Very unorganized and stressed. It took them about 10 minutes to check me in. They were dealing with two customers at the same time-very unprofessional.
Summary
Could not of wished for better,
Declined breakfast as expensive, although they upgraded our rooms and they were fabulous. Lovely hotel x
I booked an executive room. The room was cramped and the bed was not a king size, as described. We went straight out to our function. It was the next morning that I wondered if we had been given the wrong room. I asked at reception, the receptionist said that it was the correct room for that type of booking. I asked the Duty Manager to check that we had been given the correct room, as I was disappointed with it. He checked, we had been given the wrong room!!!!. He offered us a 20% discount, which we accepted. Beware, and ask if you think your room is not the one requested.
Summary
Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Brilliant location for Covent Garden, shopping and conference!
Summary
No real complaints - quality and size of room were good, and the location was excellant. Only gripe was that the heating was on all night and the room was a little to hot (even after we'd turned our radiator off)
Summary
The smoothness of check in, the quality of the room, cleanliness and comfort cannot be faulted. However, I was disappointed with the lack of response to a late night request. THis was for some water as although the room had two sinks you could only get hot water from the taps.
Also, this hotel should look at improving the bar area as it was small and not very comfortable.

Having seached around for a hotel in london for 2 couples for one night, first found one on Hotel .Com, but saw the advert for Late Rooms .com so thought l would see if there was any different -- found same room but half price , so booked straight away, pennies are tight so it suited all the family. When booked in myself,my husband and brother in law and wife, we were upgraded. Great rooms. Very happy. Will stay again. Very central, ideal spot for visiting London
Summary
We were very impressed with the Clarendon. Perfect location for the West End theatres and City of London tourist sites. The room was very well appointed to a high standard and the staff helpful and friendly. We stayed on Sunday and Monday nights which kept the costs down. We would certainly not hesitate in booking again for weekends in London.

Summary
A peaceful haven in a busy city. The receptionist made us feel welcome and at home when we arrived. She was very business like but interested in her visitors. The room was pleasant and well thoughtout. Everything was spotlessly clean and a good selection of teas and coffees was provided. We declined breakfast as it was rather expensive. There was a cheery goodbye when we left in the morning. We would happily stay here again.

Summary
Very attentive and friendly staff, despite the hotel being busy. Room was clean and very well appointed but a little on the small side. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The road outside becomes very busy in the morning, but otherwise the room was quiet. Decided not to pay extra for breakfast as the price was very high, but plenty of places for breakfast nearby.
Summary
Room contained 2 broken light switches plus bathroom accessories. Atmosphere very stuffy (small room on top floor). Needed to leave window open for ventilation but unfortunately outside street very noisy.
Excellent position of hotel within easy walking distance from Euston station and West End.
