The Capital Hotel out of 5 Customer Rating
Noisy room

The hotel is very well positioned in Knightsbridge and staff are very polite. My room was clean but very small for a £250 single room. One negative point is that my room was next to a housekeeping cupboard. This meant that from very early in the morning I was subject to a lot of noise right outside my door, clattering of equipment, doors being opened and shut loudly, chattering amongst staff etc. It took the edge off what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay.

Overated

Despite all its awards the best thing about the hotel is its location. Otherwise is a a bit old fashioned trying to be trendy which does not really work. Could do with a complete makeover especially with regard to consumer electronics.. The restaurant is far too expensive for an evening meal (but Harvey Nichols is just around the corner).
