Summary
Friendly and exceptionally helpful staff. Ideal location as only five minutes by taxi from Kings Cross. Within walking distance of many theatres, Covent Garden and variety of shops.
Summary
I love this hotel. We have stayed before, we had a smaller room last time but this time our room was really spacious. Always clean, comfortable beds and feather duvets and pillows. Lovely facilities in the room and hotel generally, a great cocktail bar and restaurant downstairs (we didn't eat, but it looked nice - we had cocktails). The staff are excellent, really friendly and helpful but not fussy - nothing is too much trouble. I would always choose this hotel out of choice when I stay in London.
Summary
Great Location, Great room (deluxe) Very good breakfast in a very relaxed envioronment. Staff helpful polite and attentive when required
Summary
Hotel small compared to some in London which made it welcoming and personal. All the staff greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. The hotel is on a quiet road yet very close to a tube station and West End, Soho and Covent Garden, perfect location.
Summary
This hotel is great value for money, considering its location. We were in walking distance of Coven Garden and Oxford Street. The rooms are really nicely furnished and very clean indeed. The hotel itself has a really warm and friendly feel. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Summary
Room was small but adequate and clean. Having said this the sink was broken as was the telephone. The air conditioning didn't work and being a hot night in London the room was not pleasant to sleep in.
Summary
Great location but the room we booked was supposed to be an upgraded double and was just a standard double with twin beds. Checking in/out is hit and miss depending on receptionist. The girl on the left was upgrading everyone and offering those checking out free water and luggage storage. The guy we got didn't offer anything and struggled to find our original booking and then overcharged us!! Good luck!!
Summary
One of the best London hotels I have stayed in. Very good customer service, nice room, value for money.

Excellent service. Good accomadation
Summary
We stayed in one of the suite rooms, and it's probably one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. Starting with the scents you will find on the lobby and halls up to the room decoration, all brings sense of indulgence and pleasure... If you want to impress your partner or spent a romantic night with it, the Bloomsbury is the right one. I'll recommend it to my friends circle.
Summary
Very nice central hotel, walking distance to covent garden, oxford street etc. 2 mins walk from the British Museum which means you can get there before the hoards of tourists if culture is your thing.
The room was small but had everything you might need and more. Room service was prompt (breakfast delivered to the minute of the time specified) and reception staff friendly and helpful.
Bloomsbury is a lovely area of London so you pay for the location and the quality of the hotel.
While outside the room the staff and facilities were excellent. I would look for a better room next time . I wouldn't stay again if I had to pay the same price for the same room. disappointed in the price charged for the room.
Summary
Very nice sized room that was modern and clean. will go defiantly go back

The price was inflated as it was New Year's Eve, but we were surprised to receive two complementary bottles of wine in the room. The room was very nice as were the staff. My partner and I had a wonderful night.
Summary
Well appointed hotel and very comfortable room . Staff were extremely helpful and service was good. Was disappointed with the quality of the cooked food at breakfast ; thought it could have been significantly better; hotel didn't seem to source high quality ingredients.
Summary
Beautifully presented Georgian hotel with lots of character. Great location for the West End and popular tourist attractions with Tottenham Court Road tube station literally round the corner. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Double room was larger than expected with a big bathroom, mainly as this had been converted for disabled use. Bedroom was very clean and was dressed down without request during our stay. Reasonably good value for a hotel of this class and convenient location. Only complaints were low pressure from the shower and the phone ringing at 6am causing disturbed sleep- perhaps a misdialled wake-up call? Other than that a great stay!
Summary
We have written to Doyle hotels because of our disgust in what we ordered and what was actually supplied. Plus the state of repair in parts of a room which was supposed to be luxury. on day of departure 10.40 am no duty manager availiable to speak to us.
Summary
Stayed over due to weather warnings re snow but needed to be close to Empire Cinema in Leicester Square for Premier as personal club full - great alternative. Stayed here before on business when stuck in City and mpressed with service - not especially cheap but good value for 4*+ hotel - learnt they've spent circa £18m on referb (it shows) - older fashioned building (grade II) but tastfully modernised. Friendly, helpful staff and great location.
(service beyond the call - Gen Manager offered to drive us to the Premier as no cabs and needed to be there before Queen).
Fabulous, We were able to walk everywhere from our Hotel, Covent Garden, West End, Soho and Tube Station just around the corner.
Summary
The Bloomsbury Hotel is beautifully presented and decorated and we were very impressed with the service from the staff there. However the downside to our one night stay was the very noisy party being held in the lower floor which carried on until 5.30am the following morning which we felt was an unacceptable time for a hotel to let a party contiue til. But to be fair to the hotel after complaining twice to the reception during the night and mentioning the noise as we checked out they did discount our bill by 50% which we felt was fair as we were there celebrating our silver wedding anniversary and had booked this particular hotel as a treat . If we do ever saty there again we would check first that we have a room away from the downstairs function rooms.
Summary
Great service and a nice room - just a shame they don't have Fairtrade tea & coffee.
Summary
The menu choices were very limited but breakfast selection very good.
Summary
In a really good part of london, easy to find and 2 min walk from tube station. best hotel iv stayed
Summary
Try this hotel you will love it .
Summary
Booked a superior room as thought these were an upgrade from a standard double but was very disappointed with room as you bumped into something every time you moved. When i made an enquiry at reception was told a superior room is a standard room that's a first for me
Summary
We arrived and were booked in a lot earlier than the 3pm specified which was great as it allowed us to dump the bags and venture out into the capital. The hotel is very "old worldy" and retains the classyness of a bygone age, however rooms were smart and modern, which was nice. Breakfast was enjoyable and well delivered by all concerned. On the whole a nice hotel in a great location but i would have liked a bigger room for the money.

We were looking for a comfortable/upmarket base close to the West End/Theatres for our 23rd Wedding Anniversay. This hotel fits the bill newly refurbished, good bar and quality restaurant with some of the most helpful and service concientious staff I have come across - And I am fussy and can be demanding customer !!!
Rooms decent size - We had a superior - Price is high but I suppose you pay for what you get!!!
If I was to stay in London again I would definitly stay here again.
