This was our second stay at the Bloomsbury and because it was our 40th wedding anniversary we got a room upgrade and free cocktails. The hotel is the perfect blend of the old (characterful art deco) and new (rooms recently refurbished to the highest modern standards) and very stylish. The staff are friendly and quietly efficient. Considering its perfect central location, the hotel is very quiet. A classy, value-for-money hotel, highly recommended.

Hotel staff were fab, polite and courteous at all times, comunal areas looked and smelled lovely, however room a little musty and flies in the noisy mini-bar ! Room was tiny for a Superior, air con couldn't get the room cool enough (and it was winter !) and in the bathroom, couldn't work the shower out at all - how to get the water to divert to the hand held shower ? Bed was very comfy and the location was perfect.

The Hotel is very coveniently placed for the West End. As usual received good value for money by using Late Rooms. The rooms were very confortable and well appointed but the internet is not wireless in the room so better suited for laptops/notebooks rather Ipods. The breakfast was good but could have been a little warmer.

We had an amazing stay at the bloomsbury, but unfortunately that had nothing to do with the customer service, the lady at the desk was unclear, rude and unfriendly. But the location of the hotel was perfect which made the stay enjoyable and relaxing, we had the cooked breakfast and it was less than satisfying.

The room was contempory, styled beautifully & elegantly with Temple Spa toiletries. Room size seemed to be a little larger than normal (we were in the Deluxe Double). The bar also had a lovely modern feel with staff being friendly. Breakfast was very well prepared and although a little slow to get served the hot food came out quite quickly. All in all, good value 4 star hotel which is now our favourite in London!

Nice hotel but it was so dark! we only had 2 bedside lamps for the room and a tiny window which let in no light whatsoever. We paid for a superior room but I doubt thats what we got for the price. Also there was exposed wires at the back of the bed for our only 2 lights - which they fixed very quickly. Also they were having problems with the fire alarms so they kept going off - after 11pm

My only negative comment is that having stayed there over 10 times now over the past couple of months, I still get asked each time I check in if I have stayed there before. It would be nice if their room booking system acknowledged regular clientele given the amount of money they spend (this is not a cheap hotel) and maybe offer some kind of loyalty programme or even just the odd room upgrade.

Cannot fault this hotel at all. Whilst being in a great central location it was still situated in a very quiet location which is great when you have had a really busy day. The room was beautiful and clean, the service was excellent and the food was fabulous. I would definately book this hotel for all my future London visits and can honestly recommend to anyone who is planning a visit.

We booked into this hotel by mistake, as with previous years had stayed at the Radisson Bloomsbury and didnt realise there were 2 named the same less than 200 yards apart.A welcome change - A very welcoming and professional team of staff that were only to happy to assist on our very late arrival! The bar was open until 1.30am which was welcomed after a long journey and considering it was a Sunday night. The room service food at 2.30am was also of exceptional high standard and fresh. We were upgraded free of charge to a larger room which was extremely spacious, had a bath and a seperate walk in shower. Mini Bar, Expresso machine , Bath robes, Slippers, Large LDC tv etc. No pay per view, but the only downside.A truly stress free experience that we are in a hurry to repeat :)

Hotel is very pleasing on the eye, furnished to a high if not exceptional standard. Room sizes are a bit hit and miss and are generally small or badly configured. All in all though a great location but the staff need to be more customer centric. Everything seems to be a struggle for them.

Stayed for one night and the room was so comfortable yet ultra modern! Large king size bed with lovely bed linen, marble tiled bathroom where you could listen to the TV through invisible speakers. Dimmer switch lighting. No taps in the bath which took a bit of working out! Didn't eat in but was told it was great food. Central location but in a quiet street.

We stayed night to celebrate our wedding anniversary...
We stayed 1 night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and were ugraded to a small suite. I always thought a suite should have separate bedroom and living area - this one didn't, but it was still of a good size and well equipped. The only issue was that of lighting - there just wasn't enough! There was 1 x dim floor lamp, plus 2x dim bedside lamps and a, you've guessed it, dim table lamp on the desk. No overhead lighting at all. I'm all for romantic, mood lighting, but when your wife can't see to dry her hair you know it's gone too far.The staff and service, especially the concierge, were excellent - a pre-theatre restaurant was recommended and booked for us. We even received a call after check-out to say that my wife had left her purse in the room. Although at £21 the cooked breakfast is a tad pricey, I can honestly say it was the best I've ever eaten, with each item immaculately cooked and presented. The hotel is well situated, in a quiet street within 10 mins walk of John Lewis and 15 minutes from Covent Garden (for those with Retail Therapy on their minds) and the British Museum is just a couple of minutes walk away if you're looking for something more cerebral on a rainy day. We will definitely go back.

Stayed at the Bloomsbury Hotel one Saturday night in mid October. We found the hotel very centrally located, literally a two minute stroll to Tottenham Court Road tube station. The staff were courteous and helpful. Our room wasn't the largest, but the quality of the fixtures and fittings was high. Very comfy pillows. The bathroom was well equipped but I thought lacked hanging space for towels or anything else. Breakfast - what can I say other than delicious and well worth the money. The cold items are buffet style and the hot items are cooked to order. We certainly didn't feel the need for lunch.

Excellent location, just round the corner from the British Museum & Tottenham Court Rd. tube. Like all hotels the bathroom was very nice, but why do they never provide enough towel rails to hang up your towels. I was brought up not to drop my towels on the floor! The breakfast choice was excellent but, although not nasty, I had never seen "black pudding" like this before & the potato cakes turned out to be hash browns. The service throughout was excellent & the bed very comfy. I would certainly visit again.

Stayed one night here on a Saturday night. Generally very nice stay.Good points:Newly decorated hotel and rooms were well appointed.Staff extremely helpfulLocation Excellent, close to shops, tube, west end, Covent GardenBreakfast (which we paid an extra £15 for) was lovely, probably one of the nicest full english breakfasts I have had for a long time. Not so good points:Air conditioning on the 5th floor was very poor. A member of staff admitted that the units are not powerful enough for the number of rooms on each floor. We changed our room to the 8th floor (which has less rooms) and the AC was fine.Shower was awful, incomprehensible array of knobs, water shot out everywhere except for the shower nossle
