A relief to find a reasonable and decent upmarket hotel in London.
SummaryOverall Rating
A relief to find a reasonable and decent upmarket hotel in London.
Summary
Convenient for terminals 1,2 and 3 with a free bus service every few minutes from in front of the hotel. Comfortable room and good restaurant service too.
Summary
Room quite nice; for price, exceeded expectations. Bus service to Heathrow convenient.
Summary
Good place to stay close to Heathrow but the food is rather expensive and not that much choice really.
Summary
Parking is underground and is quite unnerving when travelling alone - the access to the hotel is via a stair well which leads outside and then to the hotel. More lights and cctv would make it more reassuring.
Summary
The accommodation is fine, the hotel itself is fine, the garage could do with updating. However, the food is a big disappointment - there is very little variety and the service can be very slow, despite the fact that the restaurant is almost empty. The dish of the day doesn't seem to change on a daily basis. Having sampled the cooked breakfast on two occasions, I wouldn't repeat the experience.
Summary
My preferred location prior to my frequent US trips.
Quiet and Comfortable.
I arrived late and they ensured I could still get a nightcap and a bite to eat which was appreciated. Felt like "the customer comes first" which was appreciated.
This is a a pretty standard hotel but nevertheless does its job well. It is one that has a gym, which is not common around Heathrow, but no pool or sauna. The room air conditioning claimed to be sophisticated but unless turned to maximum temperature, only blew out cold air which was not ideal for a cold night in February. Bistro is very good, although proper British chips instead of the potato sticks which were served up would be welcome.
Summary
We stayed overnight before flying out on holiday but would have been very happy to have stayed longer had it not been at Heathrow Airport. A well furnished, clean and comfortable hotel.
Summary
Unfortunately for some reason the hotel was very cold. We had dinner and a drink in the bar but went to the room early as it was so cold. A suggestion perhaps the heating could have been turned up as there was a cold snap.
Summary
Stayed here for one night after flying in from America in the evening, as an alternative to rushing to get train that would take another two hours to get home. Great place to relax after a full day's travelling, room was finished to a high standard, staff were warm and friendly and the room service was really good value compared to the usual prices that you have to pay - burger or pizza with chips and a soft drink for under a tenner! Will definitely use this place again the next time I am passing through Heathrow.
Summary
I received a very good reception at the hotel and the room was a good size, clean and well furnished. Only surprise was the car park charge of £10 per day which was not mentioned in the hotel charges on the web page. All in all it was good value for the price I paid, only a little bit more than a premier inn.
Summary
The staff were firendly and very helpful. The executive rooms have runway views, are spacious, comfortable and nicely furnished. There were lovely touches in presentation, delicious shortcake and chocolate as an extra treat. All in all I had a great stay, until on day of departure I ordered English breakfast as room service. The portion was modest, one cup of tea was provided and where was the sauce, butter and conserves? Slightly disappointed after such a comfortable stay :-(

Summary
We enjoyed our stay at the Arora hotel
The staff were friendly and helpful
The room was spacious and very clean
Only a few minutes drive to Terminal 5
Excellent value for money
The Hotel was very clean, comfortable, nice and quiet for a good nights sleep and the vicinity was excellent for Heathrow with a free bus service just outside the Hotel, we will definitely use this Hotel again
Summary
Very expensive for what I got and not much of a choice. One small pot of weak tea, small bowl of cornflakes, two pastires - £12????? Mix and match breakfast would have been much better and a fuller choice that wasn't just continental or bacon n' eggs - eg choose from Toast, porridge, pastries, beans, mushrooms, kippers/poached fish and to drink how about an actual cafetierre for a good coffee or medium sized pot of decent tea at least.
Summary
We stayed over for the night of New Year's Eve having just returned to the UK from holiday too late to go straight home. The hotel is very conveniently located with bus stops outside giving you a free ride to/from the central bus station, without the need to pay extra for the hotel hoppa bus. Room is fine, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast however was a waste of time. We arrived 10 minutes before the end of breakfast and there was almost no food left, no juices replenished and what was there was dried out. We were told that we would have to have what was out as there were no plans to bring any more food! The coffee was cold too. They must have been short of staff as the table next to us had waited 10 minutes for a pot of tea.
Would stay again, but certainly wouldn't bother with breakfast again.
Simple to get to from central bus station at heathrow.
Bus stop adjacent to hotel -very handy.
Well worth the money! had trouble trying to get answers about the bus service to the terminal in the morning, ended up waiting over an hour and then being told bus tickets were available from reception! 10 mins left to boarding time!!!!! Bar staff were excellent, very clean room and food was good in the smiths kitchen but very over priced! Also opposite the car hire drop off which was handy! Overall good stay and very good for what i paid!
Summary
Good value for money. Pleasant staff. Easy access to central London with free bus shuttles to central station and tubes onwards from the station. Very clean rooms. Will visit again.
Summary
Clean comfortable room, lovely atmosphere and customer service.

Great
Summary
Arrived at hotel by free bus from airport. Staff welcoming and informative.
Room very clean and adequate size with everything on hand - tea, cofee, iron etc.
Ate in the restaurant and both had lovely meals and had continental breakfast sent to the room in the morning.
We were at the front of the building looking on to the airport and I was amazed when I pulled back the curtains in the morning to see a jumbo taking off right outside - it was so quiet.
Would certainly stay there again.
Couldn't fault the accommodation. Easy to get to on the free bus. Bus stop straight outside to get back to the airport. Nicely appointed rooms, decent size, very quiet. Will return next time we have to stay over at heathrow (cheaper than paying for a cab to the airport on day of departure!).
Summary
Easy to get to from Heathrow using Free bus service. No need to pay the Hopper price. Room clean, staff friendly, good value for London Hotel.
Summary
Arora was an excellent choice from all perspectives. It is close to car rental returns, barely five minutes bus ride (free) to the Terminals and therefore, a great location. There is no noise from planes as the rooms have triple glazed windows. Unfortunately, the tea kettle did not work, just a minor inconvenience, and I maybe would have liked an extra pillow available in the closet. I had wanted to get my hair washed and styled but the salon was not open on Sunday. I realise I live in the States with a 24/7 mentality, but maybe a half day on Sunday? When I fly from Heathrow again I will definitely stay at the Arora!
Summary
We had a wonderful stay at the Arora. Staff were extremely helpful. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. on a down side there was no spare toilet roll in the bathroom and only half of one when we arrived, it just about lasted until we left the following morning. In 4* accommodation i would have expected a spare one as a matter of course.
Summary
Very nice hotel very clean and staff as a whole friendly. Score on friendlyness was let down slightly as a problem did occur with the lobby toilets as i was pratically told to try and fix it my self when i reported it which looked like other people had ignored. Food was extremly nice although let down by scrambled egg at breakfast as very watery but made up for with fresh eggs from kitchen which was very nice. Dessert also let dinner down a bit as pancakes where not very nice and chocolate sauce was very powdery. Did not have time to try all the facilities but a very nice hotel with all the benefits you would expect with 4*.

Value for money
Summary
Excellent clean room and very quiet despite being next to Heathrow. Super comfy beds. Will stay again. Good idea to check websites to get the best price as the price varied by about 75 pounds. Very pleased with hotel and staff very helpful.

I have stayed at the Aurora many times and have always had an excellent experience. The rooms are always very clean and the beds are comfy. Definitely value for money

Summary
Lovely hotel only a short distance from the Airport. Had a bit of a problem finding out which bus would take us there because it wasn't on the timetable, but a very nice bus driver dropped us off even though it wasn't on his route. The staff at the hotel arranged to have us picked up in the morning for our flight.
Summary
We were very happy with this convenient hotel (free airport buses stop right outside!) The lady at Reception (I think her name was Ganga) was extremely helpful and friendly, and allowed us to check in earlier and check out later than we were supposed to, since we were really tired and my husband had a bad back. Free internet in the lobby, but chargeable in the rooms. Will definitely stay there again.
Summary
Stayed here one night between flights. Can't fault the hotel in any way. Excellent room with very good amenities (although may be a shampoo/conditioner would be nice - there was shower gel, soap). Very good value for money. Free courtesy bus from Terminal 1 to hotel. I had forgotten to write down the directions for the courtesy bus, ie where to get it from, what bus number etc. Husband phoned hotel and they told us not only the bus number but from what bus stand to get it from. Due to the jetlag etc and length of time travelling, we wanted to eat something small and it was getting late and the bar did offer some snacks such as chip buttie, garlic cheesy bread etc. However this was the only bit that let the hotel down; the chips were obviously frozen and tasted like frozen chips, and the bread was on the stale side. This was the only complaint I could make about the hotel and I will certainly use it again if I need a stopover London hotel again.
Summary
Nice hotel. Transport to and from Heathrow was not as easy to find nor as frequent as other airport hotels
Summary
Room was of excellent size , well maintained and clean
Summary
I stayed at the Arora Hotel Heathrow for one night on the 30th September and found the reception staff very helpful, friendly and courteous. My room was superb and very comfortable with every convenience you could wish for. I would definitely stay there again.
Summary
Over priced breakfast and internet compared to other hotels in the vicinity.
