My girly mini break

Fantastic, we were most impressed by the location near to station but the hotel was in a lovely quiet road full of clean pretty white Georgian style houses. The staff were lovely and our room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to check out. The room was smaller than some I have stayed but was perfect for an overnight stay, in a nice area without breaking the bank. I will be re booking when I go to London again and really recommend it!

Great find

A friend booked this, as we were going down for 2 nights to see their daughter's fashion show in Earl's Court. Fantastic little place. Beautiful street with this hotel in amongst a residential area. Staff were very helpful. Small reception area with sofas. If you require a dink who ever is at reception will make it. As with a lot of London hotels the rooms arn't specious, we went for the Deluxe which had slightly more room, but it had everything you require and was spotless, as was the bathroom. We were in room 10 and the only slightly disconcerting thing was when the curtains were open you were in directly eye contact with the top deck of the double decker buses that went past........very amusing for the passengers if you'd just got out of the shower. Breakfast was supberb and served in the basement. Brilliant location just off the Kings Road. We walked to Pierre Koffman's for lunch, which was amazing and also had supper at The Phene, a pub which is just round the corner and well worth a visit to see the young and beautiful people of Chelsea.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Really nice little boutique hotel. Looks freshly renovated / re-fitted, clean comfortable room, quality finishings, nice bed & linen. Friendly & helpful at reception. Breakfast a touch on the expensive side, particularly with coffee / toast being charged at extra cost to cooked breakfast.

Sydney House

My partner and I enjoyed a brief one night stay at the Sydney House Hotel.
Location is great close to South Kensington Tube station, in between the Kings Road & Knightsbridge, ideal for Museums, Harrods, Hyde Park etc.
Staff were courteous & helpful.
A couple of things, it would have been nice to have Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room, we have been to Rome, Venice & Amsterdam recently and all the hotels provide this, rather than using room service, especially when we paid close to £200 for the room.
Parking if you want to stay overnight into the Sunday in Chelsea area is difficult, we only got a space by sheer good fortune, most car parks are closed on the Sunday!

Chic Boutique

We got this great hotel on Sydney Street as a cheapy on Laterooms. Being a town house this meant space was at a premium, but the scale of the all the up to date fittings meant it wasn't that noticeable and did nothing to detract from our enjoyment. Arriving with 6 suitcases from Heathrow we were immediately upgraded to allow us more space. The front of house couldn't have been nicer and manhandled all our cases up to the room as the lift wouldn't fit them in. A good area and only literally 5 minutes from South Ken Tube. Our room was over the street but secondary glazing meant a quiet nite. We didnt have the breakfast but it looked good value.
This little relative of Gidleigh Park and The Bath Spa hit the mark and will see us returning.

Excellent location, quiet, well furnished. Let down by a lack of welcome and civility, and by no tea-making facilities in the room.
