Always enjoy staying here. Can get some noise from room above (some people seem to walk around an awful lot). I was on 4th floor. Would have been nice to have coffee making facilities. Great toast at breakfast and food very reasonably priced. room service very efficient. Upmarket area.

Friendly, tidy, compact. No bath, no soap, no flannel and no room to swing a cat but otherwise fine. Got a decent discount through laterooms but not necessarily enough to make it good 'value for money'.

Smallest double room I have ever managed to squeeze into. Clean. Nice and trendy decor, but not big enough to swing a mouse let alone a cat.

The location of the hotel is fantastic just off Fulham Rd and close to the Underground station. The rooms are small but nice & modern. The staff are very friendly and helpful - I lost a glove and received a follow up email this morning. The only problem we had was the noise from within the hotel ie the cleaners in the morning who were really noisy with non-stop banging doors. All in all, a very nice hotel.

The price (155) did not include breakfast, which you may feel is expensive. It had a pleasant airy modern feel. The room was small but very well appointed. The lift, which takes 2 people may induce claustophobia is some people! We used the stairs. The hotel is a converted town house - tall and narrow, so you might find yourself walking up 4 flights of stairs. However the hotel is very conveniently placed for exploring the area and is 10 mins walk from South Kensington tube station. Breakfast menu which included fresh fruit etc looked good, but again expensive. We ate lunch and breakfast at Carluccio's on Onslow Square, next to South Kensington tube station - highly recommended. We ate evening meal at The Enterprise pub in nearby Walton Street, also very good. Both Carluccios and The Enterprise have websites.

This is a very well located hotel about 5 mins walk from South Kensington tube station. The room was pretty small but not untypical for central London, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom, although the shower wasn't quite as 'Power' as they would like to think it was. Tea/Coffee facilities in the room would have been nice although for central London the price for a tasty breakfast was very reasonable, and the room service menu wasn't overpriced either. I would recommend this hotel for an overnight stop or weekend in London, where you're looking for a clean, modern place to stay in an attractive period building without pretentions.

Arrived by tube and hotel was 5 minutes walk away from station and easy to locate. Breakfast was first class and plenty of good restaurants and pubs locally. Staff very friendly. It is what I would call a "Boutique Hotel", Rooms not huge, but comfortable and more than adequate. Had booked 2 rooms and both were perfect.

Kudos to the staff at Sydney House Chelsea Hotel! Lovely redo - thank goodness for the minimalistic decor (you won't find any chintz here) and HARD Wood floors. Great bathrooms and rooms. I've stayed at other "Hip" hotels in London and I have to say that Sydney comes on top. We'll be back.
