The rooms were beautiful and the bed soooo comfy. The staff went out of their way to help us. You must try the Summer Martini in the Purple Bar. It's to die for. Overall a really cool, relaxing hotel.

very nice. i was not sure when i arrived but i did actually like the room after i had investigated it! Not enough hanging space or coathangers though, and the shower gel was a bit rough(exfoliating!) Lifts were amazing- nice for a good snog! purple bar cocktails were delicious. Only bugbear was the room service man who tried to chat me up whilst my other half was in the shower- but rather amusing. price was a bit steep- try the four seasons for real service- but when all is said and done, very trendy place and near New Bond street which was very convenient!

Staff were really friendly and beautiful. Design was out of this World - be sure to check out the lifts! Great contrast between dark corridors and bright rooms. Spoon+ has gorgeous food and the Long Bar is a great place to hang out. Compared to the Long Bar, the Purple Bar can be a bit quiet and also the Rum Bar but great if you want to relax. Can't wait to come back!!!

Stunning guest rooms, gorgeous looking staff (except the front office manager), staff tries hard to deliver professional service, great food in the restaurant, certainly a place to come back to!!

Absolutely lovely hotel...there are too many things I loved about it to mention them all. The rooms are spectacular, the bed made me feel like I was asleep in a cloud. The cocktails in the Purple bar were excellent and the food and wine in The Spoon were delicious. And the lifts....well they were great fun too (we couldn’t resist going up and down in them...but that’s another story!) Everything was simply perfect...but of course, not as perfect as the company I was lucky enough to enjoy this magical experience with.

First class all round. Contrary to other comments I found the service to be exemplary, and not overly formal. Nothing was too much trouble, and the waitress in the Spoons+ restaurant couldn't have been more helpful & professional. Very expensive of course, but worth every penny.

A most memorable stay. All previous comments re bad service must have been noted as staff could not have been more polite and friendly. Fantastic room, wonderful massage and exquisite cocktails.

This hotel is another mastepiece in teh Schrager range. Everybody think's that the service is awfull, I find it great. The staff is relaxed and cool, they were very nice too me. Plus they have great clothes. The hotel is superb and the rooms/bathrooms so cool.

A gorgeous hotel, beautifully designed. The staff however are outrageously arrogant and snobbish...makes you wonder why??? They certainly have to work on their service mentality.

We have enjoyed a superbe room with a lovely terrace on the top floor, the whole atmosphere is fantastic. It's a pity that the staff behave as if they're doing you a favour to pay attention to your requests. For the amount of money paid in an hotel like this, it's awful to realize that management has chosen the staff by their look and not by their actual capacity to do their job. Philippe Starck would probably be very sorry to see the amazing atmosphere that he created being poisoned by a bunch of pretentious and snobbish waiters and assistants.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. It is worth the money just to see the Philippe Starck bathroom alone!

Oh it's so wonderfull! I spent the most interesting night of my life there.

Again, staff weren’t very helpful at all. Decor was stunning, very original lifts. Well worth going to see.

Interesting, certainly nice hotel, although the final test is the staff, and although sopme were excellent, a few substantially let the Hotel down. It's a shame that Management hasnt been able to weed this out.

The room was very unique with its glass walled bathroom, and the bed quite comfy. The Purple Bar was the best part. A bit pricy with martinis going for $16 but well worth the flavor ( not to mention the show of watching people trying to sneak in, and getting the boot). The only warning would to be to double check your bill upon checkout. I was mistakenly billed for some mini bar charges and a cab that was not mine, however, they did correct the mistake.

utterly amazing stay. did not spot any celebs, bar hugely expensive - but worth every penny. Corkscrews in the room are also dear.

Typical of the new genre of hotels and restaurants that are too trendy for their own good. 7 star prices and 3 star service. Our waitress in the bar was pointing the bottle of Champagne in our faces whilst opening it, when I pointed out that this was dangerous she thought it amusing to waive it directly at my face whilst proclaiming ‘don’t worry I’ me a professional’. Flippancy as well as incorrect and dangerous procedure does not make a professional waitress, nor does it make for a top hotel. The Sanderson is a Hotel run by people who do not know what good service is for customers who are so insecure that they prefer to be herded into a room with wall to wall B list celebrities rather than enjoy a civilised well served drink with complimentary homemade nibbles. The real test is the test of time. Will the Sanderson last as long as the Savoy? I think not!

Very hip and well located hotel. Found the staff extremely accommodating and the rooms are gorgoeous...well appointed and very different. Celebrities around every turn! Restaurant very expensive as was room service and minibar. Staff goes out of way to accommodate requests especially the concierges! Loft Suites are awesome rooms with balconies overlookiong the fashion district. Very impressed with stay!

Everything is top class and the rooms are absolutely stunning - a great urban escape heaven. Go stay there now while the decor is still pristine. However, definitely rooms for improvement in terms of the service - e.g. during breakfast we overheard a waiter say to a guest, who had correctly pointed out that breakfast was included : "this is not a bed and breakfast you know". I think the lady knew that she did not pay to stay in a B&B and it was very rude of the waiter to have made such a scene.

The rooms are great, food was top class, my only complaint were the staff were not very friendly... far too formal for my liking!!
