Check In time

The only thing I was unhappy about was the late check in time of 4pm and early check out time of 11am. Reception were happy to check our baggage in with them at no cost but it would have been nice to check in earlier.
I would use this apartment again.

Appalling customer service

Arrived at the apartments & followed instructions to retrieve key as reception closed on arrival at 11pm.On gaining access to the room we found it had not been serviced from previous guest, it took a whole 50 mins to get hold of a member of staff to explain the situation- there was no answer on the telephone number posted in the room. After travelling for almost 22 hours with an 87 year old all we wanted was a shower and sleep but had to wait to be moved over an hour in total. The apartments are large and contain all you could possibly need- the apartment we were moved to was clean and warm. No free wifi and to get the service you had to book ahead- I used the coffee shop on the corner who had free wifi.

Excellent rooms and great location

The room was very spacious and well laid out.
Some basic shower gel / shampoo is supplied, enough for a couple of days. Same with tea /coffee breakfast stuff.
WiFi is not free, that is an extra £15pw, however the pub (The Lamb) 3 doors up has free WiFi
Plenty of places local to eat, and a Starbucks in the same block.
The serviced apartments I'm used are cleaned every day, that did not happen here for my 4 day stay.

Location

Fabby location near all the sights. Walking distance to Covent Gardens, theatres and tour buses. When you step out of the hustle and bustle of London, you walk down the cobbled road to apartment and it feels like you are abroad.... Relaxation and busy all in one... Loved it...

Floor space in London - excellent

If you're sick of cramped London hotel rooms then this is for you. It was positively spacious. I travel with my husband who's sleep pattern is erratic at best so for him to have another room to go to was perfect. I slept really well. The next day he was only a 20 minute walk to his job in the city. Perfect.

SACO apartments: Smart, Affordable, Comfortable and Outstanding

Home from Home:
On the Up-Side - Friendly helpful staff. Contemporary & well equipped apartment. Attention to detail with toiletries and a welcome pack supplied.
On the Down-Side - Outside noise disturbed my sleep on both nights but only lasted 30-60 minutes tops.
More than happy with my stay & would not hesitate to stay again. I have already recommneded SACO to friends & family.

Ideal Way to Visit London

We were four ladies visiting London to celebrate a 40th birthday. Having a-two bedroomed apartment was cost-effective and meant we could all be together rather than in two separate hotel rooms or cramped in one family room with one bathroom. SACO Holborn apartments are ideally situated a 15 minute walk from the West End, Covent Garden, Leicester Square. The apartment was modern, clean and warm. The staff were helpful and pleasant throughout. One small point - we had read on the Apartment Facilities that there was a docking station. There wasn't and when I asked at reception, I was told this was only provided in the Penthouse Apartments. Just a small disappointment but should be clearly stated on the Facilities List that it is not provided in all apartments. This didn't spoil the weekend however! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A nice change from London hotel life

Given I stay in London 3-4 nights a week, I feel I'm well clued up on the hotel scene. This week, I decided to go for the apartment option as my usual hotel was unavailable. A real breath if fresh air! My studio apartment was bijou, but did everything it needed to, clean functional and well decorated. The block is also lovely and quiet, which given it's location between Russell Square and Holborn, was surprising. I certainly think I'll be back!

Flying visit

Only staying one night but needed the room that an apartment could provide. very efficient booking in, lovely accomodation in a larger than required apartment. Booked breakfat and was left a basket containing fruit, cereals, loaf of fresh bread and preserves. Tea and coffee and even a bar of chocolate in the fridge. A convenience store was under the aparment block to pick up and essentials. Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean would recommend this to anyone. Will certainly use here again.

Very courteous reception

Thank you so much to the receptionist on duty the evening that we arrived, she was just so so helpful. There was Twining's tea, coffee and hot chocolate plus organic milk in the fridge and bottles of water. The Occitane toiletries were divine and yummy....We were in a great spot for Central London and the road that we were on had some great little places to eat plus a great organic food shop next door which I was able to use to buy my groceries....
When we left the receptionist was again great and I completed a feedback card for SACO to say how helpful she was and how fantastic the apartment was

Central London family stay

First time we have stayed in an apartment. Great location for LSE for our sons graduation, very clean, two bedrooms, one with ensuite power shower, family bathroom, living room diner with full range of appliances. Niggles were broken living room blinds that wouldn't close so everyone in the street could see into the room and no aircon in a hot July which made sleeping uncomfortable.. Added bonus of a secure carpark at the rear which was £15 + vat per 24 hrs.
Would recommend these appartments as a cheaper alternative than two hotel rooms.
