The office staff at Saco were really accomodating
the apartment was very good, everything i needed and well presented
It was a great location, witha nice deli and coffee shop close by. Only downside was that it was a little bit noisy when the windows were open, being on a busy little road but also when they emptied the bins in the walk way by the bedroom
I would recommend it though for the apartment, helpful staff and great location

SACO appartments London have a very good location. Russel Square underground station is just two corners away. Room was very spacious with balcony. Food could be prepared in the integrated kitchen. We didn't need the cleaning service, because we only stayed for four nights. Broadband access is available with an ethernet cable for 15 pounds a week. WiFi is not yet installed. We quite liked staying at SACO! Former experiences with equally priced hotels and locations in London left us with the feeling that you get a lot of room space for your money.

never tried the serviced accomodation option before, perfect for couple just looking for a bit of room to relax and visit the west end, short walk to Russel Square tube and covent garden if weather OK, nice airy apartment and very clean and modern, obviously none of the extra's a 4* hotel would get you but how often do you actually use the hotel reataurant, room service, reception information etc.............definately use them again.

Room was fantastic. Was expecting the usual London 'tired' hotel but the room I was in was virtually brand new with all the facilities you could need. Will come back with the family next time for a city break.

wow- fabulous location, twice as much space as you get in a hotel (unless you're very, very rich) and funky furnishings and decorations. Can't fault it.

Well fitted-out newly-renovated apartment, but with a few niggling annoyances:
1) The fold-down bed (not indicated in any descriptive text or /photos) was very noisy: any movement (e.g. turning over) produced loud metallic creaking noises.
2) There is no electricity in the bathroom (UK regulations) and no mirrors in the main room, so it is impossible to use hair straighteners.
3) Unattended reception (no problem - pre-notified), but instructions for operating external door and key-safe were incomplete

Being new, the apt and the amenities were very good. Situated in a nice neighbourhood, with good access to pubs, cafes, restaurants, tube station etc. But as it is located rather close to part of UoL and a few of its hostels, you'll need to contend with rowdy undergrads on certain evenings.

this is a great location - very close to King's Cross, Uni of London, Russell Sq, Covent Gdn. It was really hard to find the reception but this was not their fault. It is in Lamb's Conduit St but there is no street sign for this street so I didn't know that I was walking down it. (Go down Guilford Place and suddenly you are in LC St - reception is just a couple of doors past the Lamb pub.)I have stayed with SACO in Glasgow before and loved it. This was not quite so great but mostly minor things - no mirror in studio/bedroom so hairdrying and checking appearance difficult, no operating instructions for hi-tech hob, pull down bed had no light by it etc. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. Brunswick Sq 5 mins walk has Waitrose, loads of good places to eat, Boots etc. Microwave and hob plus well-equipped kitchenette meant that I could cook a meal easily. I would use again if rate was good.

What a fantastic place to stay in london...
What a fantastic place to stay in london. I booked it late, and only for one night, which is unusual for an apartment. I got a good price, it was easy to find, in a great location, and the 1 bedroom apartment I had was just fab. A very comfortable bed, scrupulously clean, not too hot (which is also sometimes a big issue), a quiet loaction but close to lots of amenities and an easy walk to both Russell Square and Holborn tube stations. Highly recommended, especially good value for 2 - 4 people staying.

A vile budget hotel of a flavour that i thought had died out last century. Once a decent building, this is now a rabbit warren of badly proportioned cubby-holes.

The reception staff were excellent - patient, through, efficient: we can't praise them too highly. The apartments were clean and tidy and well equipped; SACO should provide some kitchen tools (spatula, tongs, draining spoons etc) as we missed them. Beds were comfortable, seating OK. Bathroom was excellent. The location is about 1 Km from Oxford St. Ideal location for business travelers, visitors to the children's Hospital or the Brit Museum. The Brunswick Centre (200 meters away) is worth looking at - very good supermarket there. Good restaurants at the BC, too. The Hare and the Tortoise is fantastic (http://www.hareandtortoise.co.uk/contacts.html). Local pub, The Lamb, is great.

An excellent and more relaxed option than using a hotel in London as long as you don't require a bar or restaurant within the same building. Good standard of accommodation and facilities.

Nice apartment in a newly-refurbished block. Wish the bed was firmer, and found the room too hot (in autumn, despite the heating not being on). No 24-hour reception / entry desk so you use a key card and they give you a 24-hour helpline; this arrangement worked just fine.

This was excellent. Comfortable, clean, stylish. I was given a friendly welcome and shown to the door of my apartment. The kitchen area had everything - dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine - all discretely hidden and a cooker with induction hob, ketlle, toaster, cafetiere, plenty of dishes and glasses. Big fluffy towels and Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom really added to our enjoyment of the apartment. The shower was very slow draining and we reported it when we handed in the keys in the morining. As we left, I heard the receptionist pass the shower problem onto his manager, which impressed me. We've stayed in 'posh' London hotels that were not this good.
