Our stay will be most memorable & was sadly much too short. Staff were most helpful & exceptionally friendly. Room was a delight & most accommodating. We look very forward to returning again in the near future.

Summary
Very convenient location and our room was quiet but very small, not like the photos on website - only bedside table width either side of bed. No space in the room for easy chairs to sit on, so had to sit on bed. If someone was sitting on the desk chair, the other couldn't get past. The room had everything needed - but limited space to put anything. The toilet seat was scuffed but thick, fluffy towels. We were paying over £250 a night (apparently 'real' price was over £800!)! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was brilliant - all you could eat!
Summary
Very comfortable 3 night stay at this wonderful hotel just a stroll away from Buckingham Palace. The staff were very attentive and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. We had a super meal in the Library Restaurant and were entertained by a pianist in the Palace Lounge.Very good reviews attracted me to The Rubens and they were well justified. We will stay here again. I have already encouraged some friends to stay here and they have booked in for a short stay in a couple of weeks time.
Summary
Initially a poor start as we had requested not to be placed in the Red room, but found that we were on arrival. However the hotel staff were very helpful and although this issue arose because of a breakdown between LateRooms and the hotel, their staff wuickly arranged an alternative room.
The hotel manager was also very apologetic and helpful wehn we discovered a parking ticket on our vehicle the following morning, as he had advised us on where to park. He immediately took responsibility for paying the ticket, which we appreciated.
Overall an very enjoyable stay with excellent staff.
An excellent two nights at the Rubens. My girlfriend and myself were made very welcome, the staff couldn't do enough for us and were very helpful.
The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
The reception staff were very helpful.
The staff were excellent as you would expect in a 4 Star hotel.
The location was perfect for us and was the main reason we selected this hotel.
Although the room was large it was cramped for space owing to the excessive amount of furniture in the room. The room was dominated by a huge settee/convertable bed. As we wanted a double room this rather spoilt the look and comfort of the room and gave it the feel of a budget hotel but for triple the price.
The padded walls (not joking) of the room were interesting to say the least. This was obviously a design feature that was rather lost on us! Thankfully there were bathrobes provided rather than straight jackets or I would have been worried.
The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you could need. Generally a positive stay.
Very clean, comfy bed, nice little extras. Great sound proof for London too. Nice quiet corridors. Room wasn't huge but probably decent size for a London hotel! Great location.
