Hard Rock Calling

We had a recent stay, myself and my wife, at the Royal Park Hotel. It is situated just off Bayswater Road and a very short walk to Hyde Park.
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the hotel receptionist, very polite and helpfull. We where escorted to our room, which was in the basement. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from our room was of the hotel courtyard, no issue at all.
The only gripe we had of the room, which we were already aware of, was the lack of tea and coffee facilities. In order to have a brew in the morning we had to order the basic breakfast, coffee and toast, at a cost of £10 each, expensive but its London.
The hotel staff are very pleasant and polite. The hotel itself is very nice and idealy situated. We went to the Hard Rock Calling BonJovi concert on Saturday afternoon and the hotel was only a 15 minute walk away from the concert.
We enjoyed a very nice weekend at this hotel

Lovely Hotel, great staff and perfect location.

Very friendly and attentive staff, the room was very comfortable and clean,
Minor bad points , no tea make facilities for the morning although your breakfast is served in the room. The noise from the kitchen extractor was a little irritating although it was the only noise and the hotel it's self was very quite. The bathroom paintwork was a little shabby in the corners.
The good points totally out way the bad, would certainly stay again,

Convenient for Paddington and Heathrow

Nice hotel - not noisy as I feared - the hotel is spaced back from the main road. Rooms nicely decorated. Shower very strong!

Paddington Hotel Quiet and Peaceful

The check in experience was bizarre - the room was avilable but I was not able to be checked in. I was asked to wait for 15 minutes with a coffee in the lounge.

Fantastic hotel and would stay again

The staff went out of their way to help as when I arrived at 10 pm from Australia the hotel was full and my booking hadn't come through. They sorted everything for me and upgraded me to a suite for the final 2 nights. I would love to go back.

Wonderful Surprise--Would Certainly Stay Here Again

This was one of those great accidental finds. I was looking for a hotel near Paddington Station for a one-night stay, during a particularly busy period for hotels, and I found a room at the Royal Park. the location is great--near Paddington, near the Tube, but in a nice neighborhood, slightly away from the near-Paddington tourism. Excellent service, beautiful hotel room. Wish I had stayed there for more than one night and will certainly stay there when I next travel to London.

One of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are so nice and the hotel should be very proud of them.
No kettle or tea/coffee in the room which I found a bit odd.
Very handy for Hyde Park where I was taking part in the Moonwalk. Would love to stay again if I could afford it.
