One of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed...
One of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are so nice and the hotel should be very proud of them.No kettle or tea/coffee in the room which I found a bit odd.Very handy for Hyde Park where I was taking part in the Moonwalk. Would love to stay again if I could afford it.

Clean quiet and very friendly service Great location...
Clean, quiet and very friendly service. Great location for tube and hyde park. As noted before Breakfast is only in your room, but there are plenty of places around for that. (the indigo hotel breakfast was v. nice but a touch expensive.) However - No tea and coffee facilities in the room, I'd call that a basic expectation for a hotel of this level. weird omission and the only reason why I didn't give the room quality a 6.

As noted elsewhere the room can be small...
As noted elsewhere, the room can be small but a good change from a standard chain hotel. Good location for accessing London sights and sounds. Happy to look after bags as well which saves money at the left luggage. Shame no tea & coffee in the room though.

Was very happy with my stay - first...
Was very happy with my stay - first time - but it was perfect location being near paddington and lancaster gate tube. Free Wifi which meant I could work. The room was a bit small but being in the base garden side it was so quiet which was a real bonus. Only shame is no restaurant so have to have breakfast in your room - so I went out for breakfast.

I love the Royal Park for one nighters...
I love the Royal Park for one nighters away on business but this time the room 103 was really cold - so much so that I couldn't face having a shower !! The staff were very kind & brought a portable heater to little effect !

A very special little hotel beautifully decorated with...
A very special little hotel, beautifully decorated with great taste and attention to details, and impecably maintained. Great location, within walking distance to Paddington, Lancaster Gate, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff.

We saw the hotel on tripadvisor and booked...
We saw the hotel on tripadvisor and booked as a result of those reviews. It's a delightful hotel, immaculate to the degree I swear you could have eaten off the bathroom floor.The decor is beautifully elegant, understated and regal. I imagine anyone visiting from overseas would go nuts seeing it.The most comfortable bed my husband and I have slept in for ages - you don't want to get up!Within 5 minutes of 2 tube stations it was very convenient.My only negative and hence only a 5 out of 6 for value for money, would be no tea making facilities in the room. I was gasping for a cup of tea but disinclined to get out of bed and answer the door to room service - the only vehicle for a cup of tea.The staff were lovely and welcoming, very helpful and friendly without being cloyingly attentive. Highly enjoyable - I'd definitely return and would love to have stayed longer.
