The en-suite facility is very poor however better than not having one at all. For a city break where you are not spending much time in the room it is adequate.

I stayed for 1 night only and would certainly not stay another. The only good thing wad the room very clean. Apart from that the so called bathroom was not big enough to swing a cat. The breakfast was not worth getting up for. The wardrobe was broken along with the draws. Very unhappy. Will not be staying again. Very bad value for money.

The room was on the 4th floor. It was cramped and smelly, the shower had no power and was more akin to a series of drips. The hotel itself was very shabby. THe only plus was the location as I needed to be close the Paddington mainline. I will never stay here again and do not recomend anyone to stay there.

The room and the beds were nice but the bathroom was unfresh. wW used the shower the evening of our arrival, next morning the bathroom had a horrible mould stench wich stayed there our whole visit. There was mould on the floorcarpet from the bathtub. And the reception personel was quite unfriendly, no smiles at all!

Small, I would regard the size and amenities as that of a small 2 berth caravan. Clean and OK for an overnight but not accommodation I would have booked had I known the size of the place. Hotels adjacent to this one were of a much higher spec and for the same price.

Good breakfast. Room size is too small, especially for bath room. I think it is common for London's hotels.

Very basic for the £61 that I paid. En-suite room small and with out-of-date furniture and facilities. Room was noisy both outside and next door. No desk or chair, only a bed a dressing table and a wall mounted hair dryer. You'll need a route map and ropes to negotiate the stairs labyrinth. This place is a rip off.

The room 110 is too small, even if it is just for one man. It is also too hot.

We arrived early the staff kindly held our luggage until check in. When we checked in the receptionist was disinterested. After taking our money, we were advised of a room on the 3rd floor and that the lift was not working. This should be removed from the amenities listing on the website as it looked to have been out of use for months. We dragged our suitcases up to the 3rd floor only to discover that we were unable to put them anywhere without tripping over them. There was barely room to walk around the bed. The room appeared clean, and didn't have the damp smell you sometimes get with London hotels. The TVwas a small CRT which was located over the head of the bed, making it awkward to watch if you wanted to lie down. The ensuite was tiny, like it had been converted from a closet . if you are tall or big, you would not be able to use the facilities comfortably at all. A shower curtain that entangled legs as you sat on the loo & yellow lighting that would make it impossible to apply makeup. We found alternate accomodation and didn't stay for breakfast.

after requesting a lower floor were given a room on the 4th floor struggled up stairs with suitcases because lift was not working. room small but ok for overnight stay bathroom tiny could do the three things it was intended for at the same time but sink too small to get hands in.half inch gap at bottom of window in room which let in a very cold draught. the plus for this hotel was across the road from paddington station and bar attached that served food.stay again if given lower floor as lift is never working

This is a very good hotel in the value for money range. It is clean, surprisingly quiet considering it is opposite Paddington Station. Staff are polite and helpful. A very good stay. I can recommend this hotel -especially if you consider the price.

We were just looking for a cheap bed for the night near to Paddington station and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. Our double room was rather small and in dire need of a refurb but it was clean and the bed was comfy, which is all I really ask of a budget hotel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was reasonable - not the best I've had but it wasn't the worst either! This is not a hotel I'd want to spend any length of time in but if you're just looking for somewhere to stop off for a night or two this place is ideal.

One minute's walk from Paddington railway station and Tube. Good value. Room clean, and bedding crisp. I requested a single room, and ended up in a smallish twin bedded room, with tiny shower. TV etc. . Breakfast ok. Next door there is a good Lebanese diner with food to take away or eat in, and good coffee. All in all, very fair for the price, and convenience.

An interesting hotel in two halves with no convenient lift access from one side except for a bridge at the top floor. Bathroom was a little caravanesque, but certainly ok for the price. Breakfast and service were good. Decent sized room and very clean. Will stay here again.

The room was very good value for money and clean. We couldnt check in at the time stated though as the cleaners had not yet finished so had to go away and come back twice before we were allowed to check in which wasnt convenient as we had arranged to meet friends and had to change plans. If you want to actually get some sleep then this hotel is not for you. We heard every single noise from outside including rubbish collections through the night. It sounded like there werent any windows in the room.
