Small but good enough

I was travelling on my own so wasnt interested in anything fancy which is good because that’s exactly what I got. The room is small and basic but has everything you need and was clean. The en suite is a miracle of modern engineering and is so small I had to have one leg in the room and one in the en suite to use the basin. However it was clean and had everything you need.

Overnight stay

Clean accommodation, comfortable bed, TV and hot drinks making facilities. The very small size of the ensuite bathroom would be my only real negative comment. Overall, rooms fairly basic, but with excellent inclusive car parking, the stay was good value for money.

Just right for business

I was very pleased with my visit to Rosemount. The welcome was most courteous and efficient and the room was excellent for an overnight stay - clean and well organised with good facilities. Some might quibble at the tight shower room facilities but they serve their purpose and are quite adequate. The radiator heated up the room well and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and well laid out. The cooked option was hot and well presented. I would be quite happy to stay again and take advantage of the facilities on offer.

It's a pretty run-down hotel - the toilet leaked, window/blind was stuck together with masking tape or something, the lift was tiny and ancient. But it was clean and had everything we needed (towels, tea and coffee, biscuits etc). The staff seemed very nice and were pretty helpful.
It's really hard to find the car park and there's no guidance about this before or after you arrive (we never found it) even if you ring up and make plain that you will be parking. The other big downer was the noise from the road/airport/bus stop outside - we had the window open cos it was so hot but you could still hear it with it shut.
We didn't have breakfast in the end so can't comment on that, there's a Wetherspoons over the road which quite a few other guests seemed to be going to. Basically, it's not a great hotel but if you want to be within walking distance of Twickenham Stadium for not much money it'll do you fine.

I upgraded to a Superior Room based on a colleagues advise that the bathrooms were very small. Whilst the room was immaculate I do not feel this should have been classed or charged for as a Superior Room, the bathroom was a portacabin with no room to turn around in the loo. The staff were really friendly and the food was excellent, however the price of £74.00 did not include breakfast which made the price very expensive for one nights stay.

Clean, comfy and convenient

Spotlessly clean, and conveniently located, this hotel is good value for money. Doesn't look much on the outside, but inside is tastefully decorated and very functional. Being on a main road makes it a little noisy, but it also means it's close to shops, restaurants and transport.

Value for money if a little small and noisy

Staff where very accomodating and welcoming, room was compact with the smallest toilet and shower I have ever seen, It is however very well designed as even at 6'2" and 24+ stone I managed to fit into the shower without any problems.
Room was immaculatly clean with the only downside being that the hotel is directly under the heathrow flight path and quite noisy.
I would stay there again when next in the area.

Great place for a short stay.

We wanted a place to sleep for the night that was clean, comfortable and relatively cheap. The Rosemount is just that. The room was amusingly tiny, but clean and unfussy and big enough for my 6'5" boyfriend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nearest tube is about a 5 minute walk, so your jouney into central London is less than half an hour. The free parking is a massive positive too, although if it's busy you may not get a space. Would definitely stay again.

Having only stayed in the hotel for one night I woke up the following morning, after a very poor nights sleep, with bites all over me. Unfortunately they only started itching after we checked out. The room was so hot, but couldn't open the windows due to the noise. Constant noise during the night from the pub opposite with people shouting and loud music. Traffic noise was also bad and then you have the planes that fly pass early morning. The bathroom is a joke. You have to have the door open or your knees are pushed tight against it, there was more room in the shower!! £15 for taxi to Twicken or £2.40 bus which takes 30 mins. We ended up going to Kingston then had to walk from the bus station back to the hotel, which wasn't very nice!!

Kept you sheltered from the elements!

I originally booked a room for a one night stay but later realised i'd need another added night so went to amend exisiting booking rather than confuse the hotel with two seperate bookings but found that amending it for two night stay rather than one would cost me more than if i had made two seperate bookings!so obviously went with the lesser,on arrival because i had booked an executive room for the one night and the other a standard, i was given a standard throughout rather than change rooms the next day but still charged for the executive room! The rooms are very basic and small and the WC/shower room is or was infact a closet! never seen anything like it. if you don't like small spaces then would not recommend.I have seen bigger in a ferry cabin! the positive is, it was close to twickenham.

Not worth the money or the time - Stay somewhere else

Well I really should read the reviews before I book through Lateroom...For starters I couldnt find how to get into the hotel car park. After calling the hotel for directions, I was non the wiser as the receptionist couldnt speak very good english, so struggled to give me adequate directions. Once arrived, I found the car park very small, and already full. I had to park in an unmarked bay in front of the broken barrier. Once parked it didnt get much better, as the rear entrance to the hotel from the car park is electronically controlled, so after buzzing for a few minutes it finally let me in. As I walked up the corridor I met the receptionist who was rushing back to the kitchen, and when she saw I had a suitcase and needed checking in, I was tutted at. She reluctantly turned round and checked me in, charged me 5% for using Amex, but assured me it would all be detailed on the invoice. She threw the key at me, and ran off back to the kitchen to make herself a sandwich, without telling me how to get to the room or when breakfast was served or anything. I found another guest in the bar who very kindly directed me to the lift, and I found my room. The room itself was very spacious, more than enough room so long as I didnt want to use the en-suite. I have since read some comments on here and people are saying that the bathroom being small is not an issue, but I am a stocky man who is 6'4 and couldn't get into the bathroom, let alone use it without throwing my back out. The room was clean, but very noisy, as the glazing was single, and I could hear every siren and every plane that went past. Slept about two hours each night I was there. On the second night, I went to reception as the invoice they gave me was nonsense. Waited for half an hour coughing and calling out, no one came, so in the end went looking for a member of staff. He couldnt give me a full invoice until check out, which was understandable, but still no apology for keeping me waiting for half an hour. Finally checked out the next day, and spent another half an hour arguing with the receptionist that the invoice she had given me a) didnt detail what I had paid for, b) didnt include the 5% Amex fee on it, c) didnt have any VAT on it. She eventually gave in and reprinted my invoice, and then had to hand write the Amex fee on and sign it. No pleasantries where exchanged, so all in all if you are travelling on business stay somewhere else, as claiming back on expenses will be a nightmare!!!!

Better than most other hotels in this price range - clean, helpful staff, safe, restaurant, and parking, close to airport/tube/train. Basic food restaurant/bar/espresso bar/coffee shop available on site 6am - 10pm is a big bonus. Bathrooms are small, but functional - how much space do you really need??

Tiny, Tiny, Tiny!

What can I say, I've been in bigger caravans! The room was tiny with just enough room to walk around the double bed, do not try to pass each other on the way! the bathroom (if you can call it that) was unbelieveable, I'm 5' 4 and a medium build my partner however is 5'9 also a medium build and his feet hung out of the bathroom when on the toilet, it was an experience to say the least. it was however clean and fresh linen, but be warned they ask for £50 deposit if you pay for your room by cash, I 've never come across this before.
