OK value in London with a couple of considerations

Staff welcoming and helpful.
Room was small but comfortable enough for 2nite business stay.
Unfortunately there was quite a strong smell of smoking in the room; largely from carpet and net curtains. Suffered rather than change room as I arrived late to hotel.

Great Location

This was our second visit to this hotel. The location is superb with excellent transport links to the best attractions. The staff are friendly, efficient and attentive. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast selection is very good, there are plenty of staff around to serve coffee and tea or clear away.
The bed in our room was very comfortable and despite being located on the Bayswater Rd there is very little noise pollution. Our only criticism would be that the room decor and fittings were a bit tired and could do with some updating otherwise great value for money and a very enjoyable experience.

Needs a lick of paint

Very poor value for money, even at the Laterooms rate (£150). Tatty carpets, flaking paint, no aircon (room way too warm). Seems like a £50/night hotel rather than the "standard" £250+

This hotel represented excellent value and was well located in Bayswater Road. Staf were friendly and pleasant and room facilities were good but decor was a bit tired looking. However for one night in London it was fine.

Our stay at the Ramada Hyde Park

This hotel was well worth the money, we stayed for two nights.
the room was very clean and the breakfast was lovely something for everyones taste buds.
You can catch a bus right outside the hotel to go up to Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus and the West End and the tube station is only six blocks down.
Being opposite the park there are plenty of things going on.

Would Stay Again

The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff friendly, professional and helpful. Car Parking was easy, the room itself was as expected, the only draw back was it was a little too warm even without the heating on, we did open the window the usual small amount possible, then resorted to the air conditioning; which was so noisy it was unbelievable. We did get some sleep, but it was rather like sleeping with an engine or boat generator going in my ear, still, we did get some sleep, and I would go back to the hotel again as it was reasonable value for money

Cheap London stay

Searching for a cheap but reasonable London stay is not easy. This came up in Laterooms and for the price seemed like a safer bet than many others. The room was very cramp, but adequate. Very tired fittings, sink that didnt drain quickly, fittings missing on the bath, bit sad and sorry, but adequate for a one night, barely in the room stay. - As such, it was fine, but I would not choose to stay there for anything but a place to sleep. or.. pay a good rate for a much much higher quality room.

Good value hotel in a lovely location

This is a nice hotel, situated across the road from Kensington Gardens and handy for the tube. We got a good deal via Late Rooms and this included an evening meal which made it excellent value for money. The room was small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The evening meal was lovely, the only drawback being that there were 2 large coach parties so we had to eat at a low table in the bar. Drinks were a bit expensive, but that's London. Overall it was a good stay and we would happily return.

Easy to find, however, a little more challenging when looking to access the hotel, door is to the side! Good size room for central London, warm with complementary tea/coffee and water. TV was very basic only had basic channels, I would've expected a full range of free view channels.

Ruby wedding anniversary

My husband and I stayed 1 night to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in a great location, only 5 minutes from Queensway tube station. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Dinner was included in our package and we had a very enjoyable meal. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to London.

Could only move w/chair in straight line, could not get w/chair in bathroom at all. very difficult - not a w/chair room at all, although bathroom would be easy if I could get into it. Could see walls all battered, others had had same difficulty. Should make it clear when booking that room not suitable for someone in w/chair - other than that, hotel was good

Really great value for what it cost

This hotel is very close to 2 tube stations Queensway and NottingHill, so you're in the centre in mins. The area was almost suburban, not mad dirty city more leafy and pleasant. Great cafes and restaurants nearby and only 2 mins from Hyde Park. Other family members were staying in 5 star hotels during our visit and they paled significantly in comparison. I will definitely stay here again and also recommend it to anyone visiting London. The room was a twin with a fairly small bathroom but clean. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as sometimes you can hear the people next-door. I did and slept soundly.

Glad I didn't pay full price!

The room was worth what we paid: which was less than half what the room normally goes for. Had I been paying the £250 they normally ask for I would have left very disappointed. Hotel is just off a main road and the windows are a) not double glazed and b) loose, so they allow a lot of noise in. Very basic room given the price tag: you're paying for location rather than quality, and it shows. Breakfast is an additional £10 charge - which to me felt like gouging given they're already trying to gouge on the room charge.

Pleasant room in convenient location

A decent sized room (for London). Wireless internet was in my rom, for no extra cost. £10 for breakfast seemed a lot to me, so I had a coffee nearby. The television too gave a choice which included radio 4, which has not always been my experience in hotel rooms.

Poor | Very Poor

We checked out a day early - I guess we should've known from the off being charged £9 for a glass of wine (and a cheap one at that) what we were in for. Single glazed windows which let in both the noise and the cold and even with the radiator on maximum the room was freezing - yet the hallway was stuffy like a sauna ! Dusty bedding, TV Poor, Bath that had enamal damage and so much more. On the plus side we did find a superb cafe bar called 128 on Bayswater Road and The Cure were superb.

Not bad

The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was small with a single bed and just enough room to walk around it. However being there for only one night on business meant it didnt affect me too badly. There was a bath in the ensuite which I would have like to have used but there was a hair in it that put me off. There was no wifi in the room which was a little annoying. The room was nice and quite and didnt get too hot like many hotel rooms do. Breakfast was very good and again staff were very friendly. Overall a very pleasant stay but given the location by hyde park meant it was more than I might normally pay.

Not a 4 Star anymore!

This may have been a 4 * holtel when new but no longer! Whilst clean and friendly with good facillities my room had a very tired feel with bits of chrome trim hanging off! poor quality TV and a Bath that whilst clean was covered in chips and stains. I also flooded the bathroom whilst having a shower due to the poor design of the shower curtain and the fact the shower head was loose and only just about reached my chest.

Disappointing hotel but great holiday!

Feel the location is misleading they say on hyde park dont believe it 15 min walk to the main hyde park area - also the staff are unhelpful and demand money of your card then deny taking it - although after a little 'debate' they managed to forget to charge me for breakfast - result - next time we go we will def book a more central hotel - my advise look elsewhere

This is a good hotel next to Hyde Park and convenient for the tube. Try and use for business if can get a reservation.
Rooms are a good size, comfortable and above all clean. Only minor gripe is with the bathroom decor which is dated and isn't in keeping with the modern feel of the room. Breakfast is ok. Staff are friendly and efficient. Not had a bad experience here.

Great View at the Ramada

I really like the location of the hotel as it is opposite Kensington Gardens. Had a great room on 7th floor with views of Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, the London Eye, Big Ben in the distance. The staff are pleasant and efficient and it makes a great central London venue-close to transport and the museums and Albert Hall a pleasant walk across the park. "Boris bikes" also available close by.Good value for money considering the location.

Very average accommodation

Was phoned on the day before my arrival to be told that they could not accommodate our booking and that the only possible room they had available was in another hotel in Ealing. The only reason we had chosen this hotel was because of location, I was doing a triathlon in Hyde Park at 7am on the Sunday morning. After insisting that they could not accommodate us and us insisting that Ealing would not work, they suddenly had a room available. After checking in, we discovered it was a smoking room. When we requested to be moved to a non-smoking room we were told there were no other rooms available. Not the kind of treatment we were hoping for. And I definitely didn't think I would be sleeping in a smoking room the day before a big triathlon!
Rooms are ok, location is great for Hyde Park and Nottinghill. Hotel ok overall. Bad experience rubbed off badly.

Before we stayed at the hotel we looked at all the reviews but we were very glad we stayed there :) the staff were very helpful and happy I had planned for a bottle of champagne for when we arrived and was very pleased that the staff didn’t tell him before we got to the room. The room was very large and beautiful views could not of hope for anything better. The only thing we was not impressed with would be that we had paid as much as we did for the room but i still was charged £25 a night for parking which it a bit disappointing but the car was safe!
