Great Hotel

Have stayed at many Ramada hotels and this was by far the best. Great value for money. Good sized family rooms. Close to transport links for central London and door to door shuttle to Heathrow. Will definately stay again.

Frustrating!!

When we got there the member of staff at reception could not find us on the system so we had to wait for like an hour until this was resolved. As if that wasn't frustrating enough once we got to the room the TV was not working!!! Me and my partner went there to just get away and relax but were unable to do so! Was very annoyed!

Ok for an overnight stay

Hotel is clean comfortable and modern. Public areas are pleasant but some of the low backed seats are all most impossible to sit in. Rooms are ok, stayed in an executive room which I would just class as a good standard, standard room also thought the bed could have been larger for an executive room. Food ranges from poor to good. Evening food from the restaurant was good. Breakfast is truly awful admittedly buffet style has some limitations but the quality of the ingredients is poor. You would not think it was possible to have poor piece of toast but the bread was wet and gummy and once singed slightly on the outside by the 'toaster' it was truly horrible to eat. Eggs were like hockey puks. Also at busy times the restaurant can't cope with the volume of guests and we were turned away as the restaurant was overloaded there isn't any where nearby without a car so had to make do with bar food. All that said I would stay here again I just wouldn't have breakfast!

Bright, new and very pleasant and helpful staff

The hotel is what you would expect for a modern city hotel that caters for business and leisure near Heathrow. It is clean bright and airy, well lit and comfortable. It is remarkably quiet and peaceful given that it is is on a busy road. Transport into the city was quick and easy with regular buses and tubes right past mid-night. Overall a very pleasant over-night stay. The most important feature was the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered.

Very new, modern and clean hotel

I stayed here before an early morning flight and was able to get the Hoppa bus to T5 from right outside the hotel entrance. The room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff were helpful and the restaurant food was good although not cheap. I would definitely stay here again before an early flight or arriving late, especially if I can get a similar deal (less than 50 quid for the night). Great value for money!

Ramada

Have used this several times when going to Twickenham with friends and colleagues. With the one exception of having a gypsy wedding in there, that snuck under the radar, each visit has been very good so dont let that put anyone off. The breakfast buffy is good value if you book it with laterooms but at £15 I think its expensive to do seperatly. All in all a good place to stay and I will definitley be using it again.

Great hotel. Wonderful clean bright big rooms and the best hotel beds we've tried.

The Ramada really made up for a terrible day. Because of delays we just missed our flight from Heathrow and had to wait for a flight the next day. It was late at night and we were in quite a bad state after running between terminals trying to catch our flight. We went to a desk at Heathrow that assists you with bookings at the local airport hotels for a fee of a few pounds. He found us a Hotel for 350 pounds for the night because everything else was booked because of many delays etc.. ! We said that for this price we could probably find a luxury hotel in downtown London + a black cab. He laughed at us and told us that we obviously knew nothing about London, thinking this. 2 meters from his desk there was a pay per minute computer I accessed and in less than 3-4 minutes we found several Heathrow hotels with a great price at laterooms.com. The Ramada had a great deal, 79 punds for the night (a 75% discount) so we got the room + a black cab there for less than 100 pounds! The room was great and really saved the day for us.
P.s. best hotel beds we've tried, perfect matresses.

A long way to go

This hotel did not offer a great experience - it was the furthest from Heathrow terminal 5 of any similar establishments, the room was small and stuffy: the air conditioning was noisy and rather ineffective as it only offered one setting. The airport bus didn't show up on time in the morning - thank goodness a friendly taxi man was happy to drop everything to take us to our flight. The only redeeming feature was the helpfulness of the staff.
