Summary
Great hotel and for its location its fantastic value.
Summary
Good ,Clean hotel with walking distance to London Exel. Parking is free onsite on first come first serve basis. The food option in the restaurant is minimal.
Service was reasonable, busy time in the bar, not enough staff to cope with demand. room was tired.
Would only use this hotel again for convenience.
Great value clean, modern hotel with on site parking. Staff kindly upgraded me to a nice room with a bath on request which was much appreciated. Reception desk staff could be more friendly and welcoming, room service staff were very good. Room service menu was great, big menu and super fast service. Delivery staff very friendly & polite. Food was generally good, except the tuna melt - very poor. Loved the homemade banana cake & chicken tikka masala. Free excellent WiFi and on site parking were very welcomed and made this an excellent choice & value for money.

Our first visit to the Ramada Hotel, we were not disappointed, the staff were excellent, the room was good the the restaurant was also very good will def stay here again
Summary
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff could not do enough for us and the restaurant was lovely. I do not usually do reviews as I find that too often people are quick to complain so for that reason I wanted to say what a great stay we had.
Summary
Thanks for the free upgrade to a suite.
We were happy with the reduced price in the first place.
We had a two room suite for four of us - two kids aged 9 and 11 had to share a bed. It was a pretty tight squeeze for us. The kids liked it for the comfort, the views, and the smart decor. We liked having a fridge, microwave, and proper coffee maker.
The only downside of the hotel is that there is no shop nearby, so you can't get supplies for the fridge easily without a car. The kitchen did give me supplies, but at about 4x retail price. We'd highly recommend the nearby chinese restaurant.
I'd happily stay again as it's very convenient to the DLR, Excel, and east London. Service is reasonable, and the place is comfortable if not spacious. For the price, it's a good pick for a family who don't mind being crammed together.

Bit out of the way for a couple of days sightseeing, but good value, staff were great and food was good

Good quality accomodation
Summary
They gave us an upgrade to a suite, which was massive, and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, bar good, and the staff very friendly. Overall we were impressed, and would definitely stay again if we were in the area ( it is a long way from the West End, but very convenient for Excel, O2 and London City airport.)
Summary
Friendly and courteous staff, great accommodation and an easy to find location make this a great hotel to explore London from. With the Prince Regent DLR station only 10 minutes walk from the hotels front door with easy access to central London by tube means you can leave the car at the hotel. Canary Wharf is only a few stops on the underground, offering you a great choice of restaurants and shops.
Summary
We stayed here the night before an early flight from London City Airport. The staff on reception were friendly and cheerful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar staff were happy to lend us an ice bucket and champagne flutes for the bottle of fizz we'd brought with us.
Unfortunately we were in a room on the wrong side of the hotel and didn't have a view of the airport but a great view of the DLR! Sound proofing was great and we weren't disturbed by either.
We walked across the little footbridge to the airport in the morning which took 15 minutes.
Came for an overnight business stay for an exhibition at the Excel ctr. Very good service very friendly staff and lovely room. Had a Suite and it was excellent, well kitted out and great views over the River.
Summary
Ideal location for the Excel Exhibition Centre... quick check in, free wifi in rooms and lobby, good choice at breakfast, and excellent service in the bar.

Excellent
Summary
Great Hotel perfectly situated for the O2
Summary
Although the room was clean and comfortable, I consider it was rather overpriced for this area of London. I had great trouble with the air-conditioning which despite having turned it off when I retired, it kept coming on during the night waking me up with its noisy rattling. Therefore I did not get a lot of sleep. For a 4-star hotel, it was not good value.
Summary
A great location, good service and super food at fair prices
Summary
My wife and I stayed here on New Years Eve 2011 and thought the hotel was excellent although it was expensive at £149 for the night. However, as it was New Years Eve we expected it.
The restaurant served excellent food and the waitress was very helpful.
All in all a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London, as the public transport was amazing.
My grandson and I had a wonderful time in the hotel the service was great
Summary
Great hotel, good sized room and the staff were very friendly, but I would not suggest this hotel due to the very noisey air conditioning and extractor fan units.
They both made a constant humming noise, that kept me awake for most of the night, although my daughter slept right through!!
I did bring it to the attention of the receptionist who was very aware of the problem and from the look of her face and what was said, the management have been informed serveral times.
Unfortunately, nothing has been done to solve the problem.
It's a shame, as stated previously, such a lovely hotel.
Overall the hotel was comfortable & satisfactory.
We planned to eat in the restaurant but unfortunately we discovered on arrival that it was closed for a private party - would have been good to know beforehand.
Also as a disabled person with a young family I am increasingly annoyed that hotels very rarely offer family rooms accessible for disabled people. All the accessible rooms I stay in aren't suitable for families
We thought it would be good to stay in London in somewhere a bit nicer than Travelodge so chose the Ramada. The hotel was fine, but our stay was spoilt by a noisy heating fan that could not be turned off and a quilt on the double bed which was barely the width of the mattress. A nice location, great links into London, but we won't be back.

Not good value for the moeny

Excellent accommodation and friendly staff. The gym was good as too were the meals and bar area. My bedroom was first class (wonderful large shower) and the hotel was very clean and tidy throughout
Summary
We have stayed at the Ramada Docklands before whilst attending a concert at the O2 and were impressed with both the location, ease to get to other areas of London and the overall high standard at the hotel.
Unfortunately this time was for a family funeral and was a 1 night stay on a Sunday.
As usual standards were high, staff very friendly & effiicient. Breakfast was superb as always and although they had obviously had a busy weekend we were given the same high standards for our one night, last minute booked stay. We will return!
We stayed here overnight for a wedding reception in Docklands. To that end, the location was good, being only 5 minutes' walk from the nearest DLR station. They gave us an incredibly spacious suite, which wasn't bad considering we thought we'd booked a double room. However, the breakfast buffet (which was mediocre) was £10 a head extra with not many alternatives nearby. While the overall cleanliness and quality of the room was fine (the huge TVs and good coffee making facilities deserve a mention), the place was replete with quirky faults, such as windows that opened to a second (fixed) pane of glass and a sofa bed that was warped in the middle. Nothing that would ruin our stay, but for the kind of money we were paying it seemed a bit odd.
Summary
We had an apartment room with our 5 year old - ideal when you have a little one to put to bed. Hotel was very quiet and only a 5 minute walk from the LDR.
Summary
The staff were friendly and helpful
The room was well appointed and the bathroom excellent
Quality of food very good
We asked for a family room and were given a double room with a sofa bed which left very little room to move about as it was down for the three days we stayed. Coffee table was pushed under dressing table and chair stuck in a corner. Not very satisfactory. The tables in the dining room were tired and badly laid. We constantly had to ask for pieces of cutlery or crockery. Plates were never available in the morning at the bread section, I had to ask for them each time, The waiters did not appear to be properly trained to do the job. Food was so-so. We ate after the first night.

I was very dissapointed at the amounts of time i asked for the aircondtion to be fixed in the 4 days and 3 nights i was there,it was oisy and it did not work when i asked for snother room they simply turn the aircon off, the room was so small like a pigion box you could not swing a cat in it , we could not open the window for air , and when i asked for a fun they siply said i cant help you as we dont have
yet when i asked on the last day of my stay can i have a fun
they found one, thefoo in the italian restaurant was very poor,
i can go on
but i can tell you thids i will not stay in a ramada again
Would say you cant get better position for the tri as the run, bike and swim courses go past!
Summary
Room was great, location is a bit out of the way but I was in town for the Triathlon so perfectly situated for that! Plus the DLR is right by the ExCel. A special mention for Toni, who was fantastically helpful in allowing us to store more bikes than guests!
