Ramada Ealing Hotel out of 5 Customer Rating
Never again whilst it's in its current state.

My room was very small (no 130 on the 1st floor).
The sink in the bathroom didn't drain, the towels were old, the grouting was very aged etc etc.
The mattress was old and unsupportive.
The whole place needed gutting and refreshing.
It's planned to become a Double Tree Hilton - until it is - don't bother.
It's location for Ealing was good.

Overall the hotel accommodation was satisfactory, although the quality of the room was let down mainly by two things. Firstly there where 2 holes in the wall, one near the door and another facing the bed. I would have expected that sufficient repairs should be made before letting out this room. Also the towels had an unpleasant smell - I would expect them to be clean and fresh as they are at home - dissappointing : (

Visit to the Ramada Ealing

Only used the hotel as a base, and did not try any of the food. The cost of the room was very reasonable, but the cost of food did seem slightly high. Would definately use the Ramada Ealing again.

Friendly staff, great service and accomadation. Once again the 50% off offer on the £15.50 breakfast made it reasonable, (the sausages are still minging though). Perhaps this price adjustment should be the norm'.

Convenient location and not my first stay in this hotel however children roaming corridors, banging on room doors and generally being very noisy until well after midnight did spoil what was otherwise a good experience. I would use again for convenience and overall quality.

Bathroom Cleanliness/Plumbing

This is the second time in succession that I have stayed at this hotel and found problems with the basin in the bathroom - on the first occasion, the water did not drain away at all and on the second occasion it was slow to drain away. As I stayed in different rooms, there is clearly a problem of blockage in the basins at this hotel.

Weekend theatre break

We booked the Ramada for a weekend theatre break in London and were pleasantly surprised at both the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation, especially after reading reviews of similar hotels in the capital. We booked room only at a special rate, found the hotel easily and enjoyed two comfortable nights. Only downside is having to pay £10 a night parking but at least our car seemed to be in a safe car park. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room clean enough but in need of care and attention, especially bathroom which had cracks and ill-fitting sanitaryware. Obviously designed for short-term customers travelling alone as there was inadequate drawer space. Once one of lights was turned off it became impossible to turn it on again. Reported as a fault and it was fixed on our return - only for the same problem to recur the next time the light was switched off. Radiators very noisy.
Was convenient for where we wished to be but wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Another stay at Ramada Jarvis

I've stayed numerous times at the Ramada Jarvis and once again, my stay was very pleasant.
The hotel itself is nice with a great bar and restaurant (although I didn't make use of it during my visit) and there is ample car parking in the hotel itself which is £10 per day
My double room was of a good size with a lovely en-suite bath and shower above along with tea / coffee making facilities. Location wise is superb as I'm next to the North Circular so getting around town (traffic permitting) is easy and Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway are easy walking distance if you want to get trains or buses
In terms of criticism, continental breakfast is £10 per day which feels a bit steep and in my room for there seem to be a lack of power points and what power points were in the room were no use to me since they were so low to the desk or a wall that it made plugging in anything with the wire underneath the plug very difficult (including charging an iPhone or iPad).
Other than this, my stay was pleasant and I intend to be back again soon providing I can secure the excellent room rate via Laterooms

We were given a single room instead of a double!!

We were given a single room instead of a double. We complained twice at reception only to be told that the room was a double !! Reception staff were useless and insisted we were wrong. Next morning the manageress agreed that there had been a dreadful mistake and that the room was indeed a single. We were then moved to a double room for our second night, 24th December and given an apology (but no mention of any refund or credit). We had a most uncomfortable night on 23rd and I cannot believe that we were not compensated financially. Absolutely disgraceful !!!!!!! We would stay again if we receive credit for 1 free night as compensation. Is that too much to ask?

Quick visit

The purpose of the visit was to attend at the US Embassy for interview. The Hotel was chosen for two reasons, easily accessible from the M4 and of course the cost. Quick check in by friendly and professional Front Desk Staff who also gave the time to answer my questions although somewhat busy. Room was excellent and clean and much bigger than I thought it would be. Room service was excellent and the quality of the food was good. Check out was also painless and I would definitely use this Hotel again.

DO NOT STAY HERE - DAMP, MOULDY, NOISY, RIP OFF.

Normally I'd settle for any old hotel so for me to be dissatisfied takes a lot. They put me in a single room when I'd paid for a double, and I had to go through a dingy, unlit stairwell to get there. When I complained, they put me in a double room but there was mould in the bathroom, hair everywhere, and the room absolutely reaked of damp - in fact the damp was so bad that both nights I woke up with burning nostrils (but before coming and upon leaving, showed no signs of a cold - so it must have been the room). On the second night, there was a wedding that was so noisy the bass was reverberating up to my third floor room. I'm 26, I can handle a bit of noise. But this was ridiculous. I paid £155 for two nights and that didn't include breakfast. Overall, I'd say definitely do not stay here, it's in no way good value compared to the price.

Excellent Value for Money

Hotel was right where I needed it to be to fit in with my travel plans. It represented excellent value for money particularly at the time of booking there was a special D,B&B rate.
Hotel was as you would expect of a Ramada. It was clean & tidy and the staff were very welcoming. The food was superb.
Only negatives were that my newspaper ordered didn't arrive and typical of a lot of hotels these days if you leave your table during breakfast to get something else you find the table clearded away when you get back.
Would definitely stay here again.

Great customer service makes up for tired appearance

Like all Ramadas I've stayed in, this place looks like a time capsule from the early 1980's with tired-looking decor, strange swirly patterns everywhere and liberal use of orange... eeugh. That aside, the stay was comfortable, the staff really polite and helpful and the food surprisingly good. My ubiquitous room service burger and chips (late arrival) was served in a ciabatta-style bun with fresh salad, tasty chips and onion marmalade. Breakfast was less impressive, with not really enough food available for the number of people in the restaurant which was very busy. Overall though a decent place to stay on business in Ealing, with a large reasonably-priced car park.

I got a great rate on a Late Rooms booking for the room. Although I would consider the twin room a bit small , when you consider what I paid for it (which was much less than you would pay for two people in a B&B) I would say It was well worh the money. HIgh standard of cleanliness and very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking at a very reasonale rate.

Disorganised and rude

After a fiasco to book in because they wouldnt take Late Rooms Confirmation that the money had been taken from my bank account, at 12.30am when the bar was full they decided to close the bar without telling guests or asking would they like another drink. All that was on offer was two varieties of bottled larger and one brand of whiskey which had to be ordered from reception. I wanted a nice relaxing weekend and all i got was stress.
