Ideal location for visiting O2 arena events

I booked this hotel as previous customers had written in glowing terms of its cleanliness, quality and proximity to the O2.
Having now stayed at the hotel I can wholeheartedly concur. Whilst not being a regular visitor to London I found the trip to and from the Hotel to the O2 straight forward and pain free. The room and hotel were modern and furnished to a good standard and everything appeared clean and well maintained.

Not cheap but very nice.

The only problem we had was that someone else's drinks were added to our restaurant bill, however this was resolved at the table. The breakfast on the weekend is only £9.95, on a non-inclusive rate, whereas the inclusive rate we were offered would have cost us £15 per head. There is an inclusive gym and spa on site.

One night business & leisure stAt

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend due to business in London. Slightly difficult to get to by the DLR, especially when the weather was not as it was when we made the walk from the station to the hotel. I'd recommend getting a taxi, though we did on the way back and it came to £20. Would be a good place to stay if visiting the O2 due to its location.
The hotel staff were friendly and punctual, both at check-in/out and when ordering room service. The food was extremely well presented and very tasty, and reasonably priced. Also ordered an egg and bacon breakfast sandwich to go, which was a bit greasy to be honest.
The room was good, clean, spacious and had the usual mod-cons. The beds are big and comfy, and the location quiet, making for a good nights sleep.
Would recommend this hotel, though can be a trek to, and as such would be more suited those wanting to stay towards east London/O2 area.

Excellent Value for Money

My daughter and I stayed for one night, for a concert at the O2.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was gorgeous, I actually wanted to take their bathroom home with me. Clean room and comfy beds. We took advantage of their half price breakfast offer, and the food was amazing. Lots of choice and the waiting staff made you feel like royalty. Would definately stay in this hotel again.

Good hotel as long as you don't want a twin room

I booked this hotel as it was close to the O2. we took my daughter and her friend to London to see JLS, so booked a double for us and a twin room for them. On arrival we were told they had no twin rooms, so daughter and her friend had to share a bed. We booked and prepaid for the rooms through Late rooms and the price was great, only thing was the receptionist said we had only prepaid for one room, took her about 10 minutes to sort it out. The rooms were very nice with lovely toiletries. Would have been nice to have more milk to go with the 6 teabags and 6 coffee sachets (we bought extra milk from the local shop). The beds were very comfortable, but the pillows were like concrete, although my husband loved them! The hotel was very easy to get to from East India DLR station (about 5 minutes) and we felt safe enough walking back at midnight.
Would stay here again when in London and will recommend to friends and family.

Quality hotel but a little soulless

Good value room with the Laterooms deal. However the walk from either DLR station is not well lit at night and for this reason would think twice about staying here again. The bathroom was really nice, very clean and spacious. The bedroom however had a musty smell and I found the mattress hard, TV small and only a few channels. Overall its a good hotel and staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely Hotel, Very luxurious

I stayed here for one night whilst attending a Zumba Fitness convention at the Excel Centre. It was a lovely Hotel and the rooms were large, had lovely fixtures and fittings and were very luxurious. I would definately stay here again and recommend, perhaps on a city break. It was a little far out from the Excel, okay if you were going for the day but as I had to make 2 journeys back and forth in a short space of time and was a lone female travelling back on the DLR at nearly midnight - for the Excel it is a little far out. All in all though I had a lovely stay and will be back - great price from Late Rooms also!

Excellent hotel, once we found it!

Due to a mix-up between us and Google over the hotel's location we arrived somewhat later than intended. Our first impression was: thank goodness we found it at last. Very impressed by standard of reception, both staff and surroundings. The room was small but perfectly serviceable for one night.
The bar snack (pizza) was good and turned into both breakfast and lunch the folowing day. Would definitely stay there again.

The Radisson Edwardian

We stayed at this hotel as we were to see Rammstein at The O2 Arena that night - what a great hotel for the O2, it takes about 10 minutes by tube. The staff are extremely friendly, with everyone you pass saying hello, the room was immaculate and the facilities excellent. The only downside for me was that the bed was quite hard and the pillows like rocks - my husband loved them however, so that was just me. I would definitely stay here again!

Short break for concert at O2

Pleasant hotel if rather impersonal. Quite difficult to reach if travelling by public transport and on foot and certainly not as easy to get to the O2 as it would appear-so be aware! An absolutely wonderful Jamie's Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk away, which, combined with a great 02 concert, made our visit to this rather bleak dockland area so memorable.

Accomodation position

The hotel was very nice once we got there. I suppose you could blame us enitrely for not researching the position of the hotel fully. However i feel i would like to make a suggestion as our 3 taxi drivers suggested we are by far not the first people to make this mistake and they regulary get people saying the same thing. We particulary booked this accomodation because of its stated 800 meters from the O2 however what wasnt menthioned is that the hotel is the opposite side of the river. We took the boat to the O2, then realised it wasnt there. We therefore then had to pay a £15 taxi fare to get back accross the river to get tot he hotel. £45 later after a trip back to the O2 for the event then back home again we felt dissappointed with our choice of location. The hotel was very nice but feel it would help if this was highlighted for guests using the hotel for O2 events (of which i think there are many).

Weekend Stay

A good weekend break in London. Location was great for access to O2 Arena for a concert. Unfortunately the DLR was out of action which meant a 20 minute walk to Canary Wharf tube but that was OK. Hotel is modern & clean.
Room was on 6th floor, quiet & all the usual facilities.
Bar snacks (Pizza/Sandwiches) available until 1:00 am which were good quality & welcome prices OK considering time & quality hotel, bar was well stocked & staff friendly.
We paid in advance which gave a good discount.

Nice hotel, clean, with pleasant room and good bathroom. Easy transport links into London and 02. Only problem was I had selected a twin room when reserving (ages ago) and was given a double when we arrived, being told it was not possible to change. This appeared to be a standard reply! If I had known this was going to happen I would have gone elsewhere as this somewhat spoiled my daughter's 18th birthday treat having to sleep in a bed with a friend.

Delightful Short break

The staff were all exceptionally helpful and polite. I was informed about all the hotel facilities on arrival and assured that if I was unhappy with anything I could ring reception.
The room was great and catered for all my needs. Although I only had breakfast, (room service), it arrived on time, hot and delicious.
In short, my stay exceeded my expectations and I would have no problem recommending this hotel to friends !

Very good customer service

We stayed here on New Year's Eve. The hotel is smart and modern, the rooms are good and the view suitably urban. Our New Year plans were disrupted by poor service in a restaurant that was completely unconnected to the hotel but when the manager heard we had missed dinner and had not been able to get room service in the early hours he offered us complementary breakfast. This kindness will be my lasting memory of this hotel.

Disappointed

Booking procedure easy and customer service agent very helpful. Our booking included breakfast which was disputed by receptionist upon arrival at hotel and reluctantly permitted on production of booking confirmation. Our allocated room was clearly a room previously used by smokers, even though we ourselves were non-smokers so the smell was somewhat off putting. But for our one night stay we decided to ignore the smell as best we could. Our meal in the restaurant was very enjoyable and breakfast next day was very nice.

Excellent hotel

Stayed here for a special weekend. The hotel was of a high standard. The hotel was only a £5 taxi trip or 15 minute walk away from Canary Wharf tube station. The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom/wet room was brilliant. We didn't have food or drink at the hotel so cannot comment on this.
We went to the O2 in the evening, it was only a 10 minute taxi journey costing around £10-£15, this was after midnight so not bad pricing.
I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel and would look to stay here again next year.
