Very clean hotel in superb location. Extremely helpful reception staff. My only criticism - a very small one - is that the shampoo/handwash is watery and innefective (so I used my own....)

We, like many other guests behind us, went to the Radisson actually on the front of Leicester Square by mistake as this hotel is on a small side street just off Leicester Square. The actually hotel was lovely and clean and well placed. The downside was the hotel bar but we were informed that we could use the restaurant and bar in the Radisson that frontsLeicester Square and charge items to our room so we did this instead! The upside of the hotel being on the side street was that we didnt get the noise experienced on the fron of Leicester Square.

It is not possible to fault the Radisson Edwardian. The staff are friendly and courteous, nothing is too much trouble for them. There were no problems with checking in. The room was spotless and well equipped with a safe, mini bar, and tea/coffee making facilities. We did not eat at night in the hotel but breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. At £21 per person it is on the expensive side but worth it.

There was a wall mounted flat screen TV in our room, which was so close to the end on the bed that I had to bend my body to avoid contact with it on passing. In the middle of the night, however, I walked into the edge of the TV, dettaching the speaker cover and scratching my arm, drawing blood. It was evident that I was not the first to have done this. A little more space in the room could have avoided this (or move the TV, but there was nowhere else to put it).

Plus points: good location just off Leicester Square.Minus points: utter lack of customer service (except for the trainee who checked me in, who was wonderful). Lumbered with a double room instead of the twin I'd booked (awkward given that I was sharing with a female colleague) and was outright lied to by reception staff with respect to billing. Room wasn't exactly great either - I doubt I'll be going back.

The hotel was clean and modern, the staff were friendly and helpful. You could see that there would possibly be some very small rooms in the hotel but ours was average for London, ideal for a 2 day break and brilliant location.

Just off Leicester square, really great location, unfortunately my room only had a small window though, however considering the location the noise level was very low. Reception staff were very helpful and polite and even organised loaning me a pair of cufflinks. Would happily stay there again if the room rate was a tad lower

Hotel room a little on the small size...
Hotel room a little on the small size but nicely presented with quality furnishings. Breakfast on the first morning was shambolic, but much improved on the second morning. Room on the third floor was a little noisy on the Saturday night. If stsying at a weekend request quiet rooms on the rear of the hotel. Staff helpful a very nice hotel, would consider staying again central for theatres and soho restaurants.

The hotel was rather tired looking and needs freshening up. The paint on part of the celiling of my room had cracked up as a result of what seemed like a previous water leak and should really have been repainted before putting the room back into use. The bar/lounge was quite pleasant, with good service and decent food. Both check in and check out were slow because of the computer system

The staff were very unfriendly, they overbooked the hotel, so we had to change hotels. That took over 3 hours to change hotel and check in.
