Generally good and fantastic location. However, we were disappointed our request for twin beds in 1 room was ignored although we arrived by 10am. The receptionist said it was only subject to availability and did not seem to agree that it was inappropriate for 2 teenage boys to share a double bed

Apart from the poor signage on the front of the hotel (it is difficult to know that you have the right hotel) there is nothing to fault - amazingly quiet for a hotel in such a prime location - couldn't even hear the screaming pre-teens at the premiere in Leicester Square! Nice modern rooms also.

Me and my wife stayed here for one...
Me and my wife stayed here for one night and we had a great time the hotel is right in the heart of leicester sqare located just behind the odeon cinema. The hotel itself is very modern and very stylish we stayed in the penthouse suite on the 7th floor which was stunning ! the staff are also very nice and friendly especially a man on reception Nelson he was very helpful and a credit to the hotel this is a must book hotel and i will be booking again on my next trip to London. I booked the hotel through late rooms which saved me over 50 from what other competitive websites were quoting and had no dramas with the booking it was all straight forward and will be using them again.<br />

Clean nice room, central location, however if you want to work on your room, there was no desk, only an uncomfortable sort of seat which was too low

Requested a double room and ended up with...
Requested a double room and ended up with 2 x single (not great for getting cosy!) Room was very small (it is London I suppose) and looked out onto a beautiful vista of 2 x brick walls and a huge air con blower motor. Air con in the room was noisy enough to keep me awake all night. Breakfast however, was fantastic, quick, hot and delicious.

Was required to stay here due to problems with Eurostar. This brilliant hotel is located just behind a cinema in Leicester Square so is very central and convenient for central London. I arrived very late about 10.00pm after a 14 hour journay from France. Staff were efficient and courteous. Got a superior rate twin room which was clean and spacious. Not sure how new the hotel is but all the furniture and finishings seemed very new and stylish. Bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet. My opinions may be biased due to the circumstances of my journey and my relief at getting a room at all but I really liked this hotel and will definately stay again if I get the chance. Did not eat in the hotel due to time constraints so cannot comment on food quality and value.

We were originally booked at the Leicester Square...
We were originally booked at the Leicester Square hotel but on arrival we were moved to the Mayfair (15-20 minutes walk away). This would had been fine had I not specifically wanted to be based in Leicester Square!!<br />Mayfair hotel was lovely though, breakfast was great, and I cannot fault the service.

Room was very nice, but the service was poor. We had to ring Reception at 3pm (after we had got in from a tour) and ask for them to make up the room, only for them to say "oh you want us to make up your room for you?!" eeerrrm yes, for 211 a night I would!!

The location was great - and it looked good internally but a number of things spoilt our stay. I had booked a twin room for a friends birthday on arival they were confirming the stay when the girl blurted out quite loudly the cost of the nights stay. I have stayed in many high end hotels and never once has this happened. Total lack of descretion used. The room was decorated and furnished well, however it was very small and had the worst view. I would not say good valueconsidering the cost was near 230. <br />We took advantage of the offer to eat in the attached restaurant at a reduced rate - which was very reasonably priced. However, I would not say good value. It was apparent that we were not given the choice of the full menu. Just a choice of four main dishes. We both ordered the chicken dish which was tasty but came without vegetables!! <br />We had high hopes but felt overall we could have done better elsewhere. I would not recommend to anyone other than if it was someone that I didnt care for and if I was happy for them to waste alot of money.

The hotel tried to take from my individual...
The hotel tried to take from my individual credit card when the booking (made by my company) was quite clear that the company would pay the room cost. The hotel attempted to take from my personal credit card unsuccessfully on multiple occasions even though the correct credit card details were given when I checked in. Seeing multiple attempts by the hotel, my credit card provider (quite correctly) placed a stop on my card. I will not be using this hotel again.
