Really lovely stay and fabulous service - shame about breakfast

I really enjoyed my stay here. I asked for a quiet room, and this was thoughtfully accommodated. I was given a very reasonably sized single. The check-in staff were fantastic and very friendly. The only down-side was the standard of the breakfast. In a hotel of this standing and price, I didn't feel a canteen-style self-service breakfast of luke-warm sausages, and drying out scrambled egg, was adequate. In all other respects though - I thought it was a great experience.

Recommend, with LateRooms discount

Without the LateRooms discount, this would have seemed overpriced to us. By buying the room through LateRooms, selecting the "prepay/no refund" option (risky, but a good value), and receiving those discounts, though, it was fairly priced, and was very satisfactory. Clean, fresh, nicely furnished room and clean, fresh-smelling, newly-renovated building; welcoming and helpful staff; convenient restaurant/bar; good (if small) bathroom; reasonably comfortable bed; good tv; free wireless access in the room and throughout the hotel. Rooms in London are very small for what you are paying, and compared to those in the U.S., but that is London. This hotel is very convenient to British Museum and other Bloomsbury attractions; it is an attractive, clean, safe, and charming neighborhood. Easy access to all major central London siteseeing attractions via the underground.

Great Hotel , fantastic staff

Loved this hotel at first I was put in a box room but when I complained i was quickly upgraded at no extra charge. This transformed my stay as I needed a room I could actually move around in, not with just a bed in it
Staff are Fantastic and extremely helpful, i am bringing my family back at xmas

Great hotel, great location, (appreciate the free wifi) great staff but let down by teeny tiny room

Hotel location - great, free wifi - unusual and even better, lovely attentive staff but don't let them give you Room 31.
It's ridiculously small - possibly the smallest I've ever stayed in.

Maintenance of hotel requires attention, roof plant rumbling ,causing a move to another floor on day 2 ,only to tell reception that a buzzing noise from luminires caused a sleep less night once again. On check out told sorry .
The other room ,no slippers or dressing gowns ,no shampoo ,room was quiet and clean ,staff excellent ,on hearing of the problem with the other guests in the party ,checked on our room. If all was in order,it was only on the return that we discovered items above not as other rooms booked 3 off.
