I have stayed here before and always got a revamped room - some are on th small side but they are very modern, clean and comfortable - I travel alone and dont need a big room.
Last stay I got one of the olde rooms on the front at Tottenham Court Road - very busy during day, but surprisingly quite a night. This was a pity because the windows are sealed and the air conditioning makes a noise like a tank - very disturbed or suffocated night endured.
The room was also somehting from the 70's and badly in need of refurb to bring it up to date.
The staff ar effective but have littel in the way of charm or even interest in the customers, a pleasant 'good afternoon' etc is always a nice start - dont expect it

I have stayed at the Grafton before several...
I have stayed at the Grafton before several times and also at The Bloomsbury Street Hotel in the same group. The single room I had this time was on the first floor at the side of the hotel. The rooms are a little tired but the main problem are the windows which are the full height of the wall. This means people coming out of the station or on the street can see straight into your room, which are small. To shower is tricky as you come out so it needs all the blinds closing which is useless on a summers day or eevening. I was offered a room at the front on the 5th floor and this was tiny and shoddy. All this for 185.00 a night. (no breakfast)It just isn't worth it. To be fair eventually the day manager did offer me a double room but as I had been in 2 rooms already I had other things to do. Eventually at my suggestion he did throw in breakfast with the price. The hotel has anice lounge but these rooms are just not worth this sort of price. You can get much better in other hotels or the same quality as this at a much lower price in a 4 * hotel. They need to either improve these rooms and include bright blinds not these old things or dratically reduce the cost

Previously stayed in another Radisson Edwardian so knew that I could expect a certain level of quality. Hotel was elegant inside, room small but well apointed. Right next to Warren St tube station - very convient (however it was shut when I visited). Only downside is that it is round the corner from an A&Eso had quite a few sirens going past during the night so would recommend asking for a room away from the road.

Travelling on my own staying in single rooms has had it's ups and downs and the Radisson was definitely one of the ups. The room was small but well laid out, very comfortable bed and good in-room facilities. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and access to free internet was a bonus. Close to the tube and a range of shops. I had a very restful and slightly luxurious stay at a reasonable price.

Lovely hotel and lovely breafast, the slowness in the lifts did get annoying and having to put your key card in the lift. And hour before check out the demon tv kept flashing a message which i picked up at acknowledged, then kept flashing it up again and again that I had hour to check out, even if i switched the tv off at the mains, I was upgraded as well and a bit of maze trying to find room but overall nice hotel and would stay there again for 86 quid but no more.

I have stayed here a few times now...
I have stayed here a few times now. Situated at the top end of Tottenham Court Road, 50 yards from Warren St tube station (Victoria and Northern Lines). The rooms are excellent quality for the price. My only complaint is the street noise. I usually bring my earplugs and then I am fine. This time - disaster - the box was empty! Tottenham Court Road is close to University College Hospital and sirens seem to pass the hotel several times an hour until around 1am. The garbage is collected around midnight too, which adds to the noise. The windows are all double glazed and, with very efficient air conditioning, there is no need to open them. Even so, the noise seems to penetrate with ease. Fortunately the street does seem to quieten down between 12MN and 1am.
If you want peace and quiet this is not the place to be. If you want high quality at a good price, bring your earplugs!

Would def stay here again. Took my 15 year old daughter for a girlie weekend away and I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for location - everything we wanted was 'just a few stops away' on the Northern Line. and with the hotel being right by the tube station we could nip back and drop off some of our bags before going out again!!! Smart, clean rooms too!

The Grafton was perfect for what we needed. Well located, late check in was no problem and was speedily executed. It was quiet - our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking a play area, and there was no traffic noise which I've frequently encountered in other London hotels. To be fair, though, it was the night before Good Friday, so the area was quieter than usual anyway. But I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and found it to be excellent value for money.

I stayed for 2 nights at a good price, and so it was value for money. The single room was quite small but clean and well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is a little shabby in places but perfectly acceptable, and the location is excellent. Staff were helpful and I was able to check my case in before the 2 pm check-in which was very useful. I didn't try the food.
The room has a message service on the TV which unfortunately had a mind of its own and kept telling me about breakfast arrangements. I didn't mind this too much until it decided to come on at 6.30 am and when turned off, reappeared. So that was the end of the night's sleep!
The complimentary newspaper failed to appear, and when I checked out, I was presented with a bill that was incorrect - the room rate for the second night was given as 20 more than the LateRooms price. I was told that the price had gone up but luckily was able to produce the LateRooms printout and the bill was amended. Not a big deal perhaps, but slightly embarrassing and could have been a problem if I hadn't had proof.
Despite this I would happily stay there again if the price was right, though not at the full rate advertised by the hotel.

On check in we were upgraded to a deluxe room without any prompting and the room was spacious impeccably clean and tasteful. The bed seemed huge!!
It was a pleasent stay (on the third floor) and I particularly liked the card operated lift, which added extra security to the hotel and made me feel safe staying in such a central position.
There was a good mix of people staying at the hotel, tourists and Londoners for the celebrations and everyone was in good spirits. Excellent location - within 10-15 minutes' walking distance of St Pancras (if your luggage isn't heavy) and 10-15 minutes from Oxford Street. Right on top of Warren Street underground station. Late-opening supermarkets right next-door and directly across the room are also very useful.
I was offered a free newspaper for Sunday morning but it never arrived. Not serious - just slightly annoying at the time.
Room was fairly clean, but I should have asked for a no-smoking room, as this one was a smoking room and therefore a bit smelly - my fault, though. Plus, I'm short-sighted and would have loved a small magnifying mirror in the bathroom - not a serious omission, though. Shower a bit feeble, but at least it worked.
Good soundproofing - couldn't hear my neighbours at all, which is very unusual and very welcome in central London. I'd want to stay here again for that reason alone - I got two very solid nights' sleep.

this was an appalling experience of the Radisson brand. I was checked in and directed, unbeknown to me, to a single room. I had expressedly booked a double - on calling the reception desk I was advised that this was unfortunate, but no other rooms were available. I was told I would only have to pay the walk-up rate - strangely cheaper than my booked room. After some deliberation I was offered a complimentary breakfast which I accepted.
Further disappointing was the absence of curtains - dated blinds were utterly ineffecient and sunlight awoke me long before necessary or desirous. My frustration with the hotel was compounded when I arrived for breakfast, was asked my room number and the staff were insistent I paid 16 for the pleasure. An apologetic manager relieved me from the situation. On checking out I was charged the correct price - but no apology made - nor even an enquiry about the quality of my stay.
I was appalled by this experience of what I previously regarded a quality global brand.

It also made the room draughty as it was a cold December evening. The room was small, although the bathroom was clean. The check in staff were impolite, taking ages to decide which credit card would be ok to use to pay with, a lack of communication repeated when my colleague tried to pay.
Plus points are: close to Warren St Tube and friendly barman who served good (but expensive) hot chocolate.
I would not stay here again and would hesitate before using any other Radisson Edwardian Hotel.

Customer service was appalling. The shower was blocked, the carpet had an odour of vomit and it was generally an unpleasant experience staying there.

The hotel was superb the food was outstanding and the room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean, I will definetely recommend this to hotel. I work at Drummond Gate and the nearest tube is Pimlico on the Victoria Line so I can travel straight through to the hotel from Warren Street tube.
Fantastic Hotel

Everything at the hotel worked almost perfectly. The only thing I can criticise is that the booking from Laterooms.co.uk didn't come through properly at the hotel. I had to pay the rack rate as they didn't receive any details of my booking from Laterooms. Only the reservation of the room. This caused some irritation as the rate I had to pay was of course higher than the confirmed rate from Laterooms. I have since managed to get the difference refunded, I might add.

the room was tiny - about 1 foot of floor space all around the bed, and the a/c wasnt working, so we had a very hot, sweaty night. Breakfast was an amazing 16 pounds extra.

My only criticisms were that the hotel needed signs to the lift and some hair conditioner would have been welcome. Otherwise it was excellent and I would definitely want to stay again.

Central but noisey and busy location. Took over half an hour to check in so I missed the resturant as it was 10.30pm, even though I told the gentleman on the desk that I wanted to eat! Tiny room and lift not working. Ice machine not working, Over priced and not welcoming.

Great location, right next to the Warren St. tube stop, and a few blocks from Euston. The hotel is stylish with lots of extras: free wireless, fitness room, business center with lots of computers and free printing, pleasant rooms. I was first given a miniscule room on the first floor looking out onto the bus stop on Tottenham Court Road. I asked for a room higher up and was given a (slightly) larger room on the 5th floor, looking out on the courtyard, which was wonderfully quiet. It is worth asking for a room higher, looking out to the courtyard. The (loud) housekeeping knocked and entered extremely early in the morning. Set the do not disturb sign! Good deal booked at the 88pounds rate on laterooms. Wouldn't want to pay their usual rate!

Very good standard of accomodation, excellent (though slightly expensive at 16) breakfast. Free wifi access, very comfortable. Good value at the laterooms price of "just 88" as the receptionist put it (I wasn't sure if he was looking down his nose slightly at this point).

The room was extremely small & was on the front of the hotel facing Tottenham Court Road and therefore very noisy. The standard of cleanliness was poor and was accentuated by finding a large cockroach in the ensuite on Saturday morning. My comments have been passed on to my business assiciates in the London business community.

Great location next to tube. My room was an impressive standard. I was up on 5th floor and it was very quiet no noise from street etc. Only 2 drawbacks hot water supply was erratic and ice machines not working on the 3 floors I tried. Really liked the bar would definitely stay here again.

There was no room available when I arrived, despite my having called in advance to confirm. I was given a complimentary drink and taken to the sister hotel in Bobd Street. There I was checked in and booked a morning call for 7am. The call did not happen. However, at 4am I was woken by the TV kicking into action and welcoming me to the hotel.
The check in staff at the Grafton were very friendly and helpful though, given what they had to deal with.

Unfortunately when I was staying here there was work going on at Warren Street underground station and the work was going on throughout the night and the noise from the workmen and the vans was constant throughout the night. The sound insulation panels on the windows were not anywhere near sufficient to block out the general traffic noise and had no chance with the vehicle engines running right outside my window all night and the workmen shouting. I stay away at least a few nights during most weeks at hotels across the UK and there are occasionally issues with noise but this was the first time that I have ever been kept wide awake until it was time to get up and it's obviously not a good start to the day.
The room was barely adequate in terms of size but would have been acceptable as it was only for one night. On the positive side, they did have complimentary wireless internet access, which is now one of my primary requirements when booking hotels and the main reason they get any credit.
Otherwise the rest of the hotel was quite nice and the service was fine but despite the works going outside, I don't think it's acceptable to not have properly maintained seals around the internal window seals in such a central location. If you are planning to stay hear try and get a better room away from the noisy areas.

Hotel situated right at the very top end of Tottenham Crt Rd, almost Euston. We thought it was quite out of the way. Hotel was very dark and the rooms very small and un inviting, We were overlooking a playground so the loud noise of a group of basketball players were not what we had bargained for when we wanted a rest!! There were no lamps or soft lighting in the room and we found it very claustrophobic. So much so we only stayed one night when in fact had booked to stay 4 2. Hence the fact we wil not be staying @ this hotel again. Hotel had no atmosphere and was almost quite creepy...But hey ho that's our humble opinion!!!!!

Convenient for underground and main line railway stations. Front of house staff were great though the bar staff were less agreeable. Room was fine, but nothing exceptional. The rooms at the back, which I would think constitute the vast majority, were pleasantly quiet for a London hotel. All in all, good value for convenience and comfort.

I could not fault any aspect of the service provided. We arrived in London at 10 am and the staff were only too pleased to allow us to check into a room immediately. For 99 per room per night, including breakfast I defy anyone to find a room as spacious, comfortable and weel furnished as our suite. The all you can eat breakfast was enough to last through the day. All staff were exceptionally helpful and polite and I would have no hesitation in recomending this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is an excellent base for exploring London. It is in close proximity to three mainline railway stations: Euston, St. Pancras and King's Cross. It has a London Transport bus stop and underground station directly outside the hotel. The staff are friendly and are attentive to your needs. The hotel is a peaceful haven in the centre of a very busy and hectic city, one always looked forward to returning to the hotel after a day's sightseeing or after taking in a show. I shall cetainly use this hotel again whenever in London.
