Very good value for money. Hotel is a little 'tired' but is being re-furbished. Staff were very helpful and friendly, easy access to tube and Hyde Park a few minutes away. Would choose again in the future.

Paid £50 for a single night, couple of positive observations in my review is that the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was very reasonable. Shower could have done with better complimentary toiletries, room was small but okay for space. No air conditioning in room so I fear it may get a little warm in Summer. If you are just needed somewhere to sleep in a budget hotel, I would recommend.

good value, beautiful location -fine if you stay put, otherwise you need a car especially off season.there is transport during day but nothing after 6.30pm and taxis back from town run around 13/15€. It's a 15 min run from Kato Paphos.

2nd time we've stayed here and still think its a great place to stay! really good location, very near to 2 underground stations, shops, lots of varied eating places and kensington gardens. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and has a relaxed feel. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the rooms are well equipped-all in all good value for money. If I had to pick out any negative points, and I am being picky here cos they really didn't affect our stay. The TV didn't get a very good reception and the shower could have been a bit more powerful-but thats it, would happily recommend!

This hotel was a great location in bayswater with plenty of very good pubs and restaurants nearby.the hotel was fine but our room wasn't great.but we spent very little time in it and we got it at a very cheap rate so can't really complain that much.all in all if your just looking for a cheap room and your not fussy it's well worth it

i thought the location of the hotel was very good as it was so near to where i needed to go.there was an excellent bus service which was right on the doorstep on bayswater road 2 mins to the hotel 6 mins to oxford street.the room was ok for what i needed although the furniture in the room had a draw missing at the desk and had been damaged sometime before my arrival the linen was excelent and the bed very comfortable.the breakfast was good but a fried breakfat would have been most welcome even if i had to pay slightly more.overall very good value.3 fire alarms during my stay apparently caused by people smoking in their rooms could have been avoided if there were more no smoking signs visible in the rooms.generally very good and would stay there again.

Excellent value for money. Friendly reception staff. Easy to leave luggage for 1 pound a bag if you are checking out and want to do some shopping before an evening flight. Was clean, tidy and would definitely stay there again. But if you like space, book the twin, usually for a small extra charge as the single rooms can be small. I checked out a few hotels in the neighbourhood for future stays and they are way below the standard of this economical hotel. Centra lPark Hotel across the street is equally good if you can get it at a reasonable price.

We stayed here mid week for 1 night which was just about as much as I would want, very small room in the basement so very claustraphobic but adequate. Very clean and tidy! and at the price can't complain.

I found this hotel a very bad experience. Service is awful rude at the lobby. The price is not worth it. I had no towel and no toilet paper when I got into my room. The internet only works in the lobby and is 2 pounds an hour.I wouldn't recomment this place

The room was very comfortable but the bathroom was a bit on the small side. Would have been nice to have some decor on the walls as they were pictureless and dull. Lift was a bit rickety. More pillows required on the beds also.

Not again. Check out 12 noon, woken up 7.30, 8.45, 9.15 by house keeping barging into the room whilst knocking...how rude, eventually complained to a shrugging receptionist who told me that was the poilcy? Shocking, Breakfast staff were surly and moody, i felt about as welcome at breakfast as i did in the tiny single room with a queensized bed...no blankets on the bed, it was freezing, drafty windows, shower leaked alover the floor.... Never again...Try Royal Court Appartments, Cheaper, Close by....Totally better deal! Wouldn't stay in this hotel if it was free!

they gave us a creepy room with a broken window. We complained and we got one of the rooms showed in the webpage, which was great. We had a very serious problem. We payed by cash when arriving. although we insisted, the hotel denied us a receipt until the checkout. We couldn't justify that we had payed. At the time of the checkout, the had lost the receipt and told us to pay again!!!!After argueing for 30 minutes we left the hotel without the receipt and without any apologize. One day later, the sent it to me bay email. Still waiting for apologizes

We stayed at this centrally located hotel to attend various festive activities. The Staff were very friendly and the room was spotless if a little small. My only disappointment was the cold cooked breakfast ! But I would stay again.

I paid £40 for one nights stay in the middle of December and couldn't ask for better value for money. On arrival staff were helpful and polite, my room was more than adequate with a hot shower, TV and comfortable bed. Anyone who is paying this amount in Central London couldn't really ask for anything more.

Upon our arrival at about 4-00pm, we found our room with the door ajar. We were tired from travelling so my boyfriend sat on the bed to have a rest, it sunk violently in the centre & he could of been injured. The hotel staff came & screwed missing castors onto the bottom of the bed & it seemed ok after that, although we never felt that comfortable on it afterwards. The bathroom had yellow tinged puddles on the floor (not sure whether the shower was leaky or the previous occupant had missed the loo...) A budget hotel quite central for getting around London. Oh, nearly forgot to mention, they didn't restock the tea & coffee sachets during our stay. No compensation was offered for our ordeal.

clean room with small flat screen and good size bathroom, breakfast included and overall a pleasant stay for a cheap rate. At this rate it is a good stay in convenient centrally loacted location - ok for 1-2 nights but pay more for better hotel for longer stay.

Outside of hotel was quite smart however not so good once inside. Decor dated and in need of refurbishing. Once booked in was informed of a power cut the next day therefore there would be not electricity after 8am until at least 4pm. Breakfast therefore had to be taken between 6am and 8am. I was unhappy about this as I felt the hotel could have phoned or e-mailed me to let me know prior to my arrival. Complained but was told the hotel had already taken the payment for the room so decided I would have to stay. Room was very basic even though it was supposed to have been a superior room. Bed was uncomfortable and there was no trouser press as stated. Went for breakfast at 7.15am but there was only standing room available and no sign of the full english I had paid for (only very basic continental breakfast). Complained to reception but they were very unhelpful and told that management would not be available until after 9am. Decided to leave and have breakfast elsewhere. E-mailed management when I got home but haven't had a reply. Would not use this hotel again!

Hotel was fine-basic and certainly not worth the money if it were outside London! The receptionists didn't appear to know the answers to any basic questions and we were left to find out things, like parking and congestion charging etc, ourselves. There is no parking at the hotel but free parking on some of the street at weekends-the nearby car park costs 25 pounds per day. It is in the congestion zone too.The shower was rubbish but clean. Toiletries were provided but soap was probably used by the previous people (which I actually think is sensible but some people may not like!) We stayed on the 5th floor and it was pretty hot! 3rd floor felt cooler though! Lifts were insanely small-could barely fit in with luggage-and very slow.
