Great location but shame about the size of the so called 'Executive' room

The location of the hotel is ideal, its literally right around the corner from the nearest tube station and is close enough to all the tube stations and tourist spots.
My major issue has to be is the fact that i purchased an executive room thinking that it would be quite an improvement on the normal room but i find it hard to see the difference.
The room was a lot smaller than the pictures lead you to believe. It was a good quality room but it did feel very small indeed.

Accomodation was excellent, bright, modern and comfortable.
Breakfast was a real disappointment, however. It was served luke warm, I had to make my own tea and was twice told by the waiter that it would be an extra £9.50 on my bill! This let down the rest of the hotel which was very good.

Excellant value. Used several times. High quality hotel at a reasonable cost.

I have now used this hotel several times on business and will continue to use. Excellant value for money and ideal for all major London transport links.
Rooms equipped with quality furnishings. FREE WIFI. Friendy staff. Cannot comment on resteraunt as I have never used although prices seem reasonable for London.

Handy place for a layover in Maida Vale

Too small and hot !

We were booked into what was described as an executive room, which we expected to be spacious. Unfortunately this was not the case, we found it really small to the point where I felt a bit hemmed in. In addition, despite several attempts by the staff to put it right for us, the air conditioning was not working effectively, in a small room where the windows would not open this made it really stifling. I didn't sleep very well at all. The staff were really lovely though and did offer to change our room if no better when we came back from our evening out, however this was quite late so we chose not to. We thought we wanted to make other people aware of these things though so they can make the choice.

Not what is says on the tin

I was expecting a well run, nicely designed, well thought out hotel as they state. It was average at best, dirty room, bad attention to detail and incredibly hot. Not somewhere I would recommend which is a shame as I really wanted to like this hotel.

Overpriced

Situated on a busy road opposite the overground station. Poor customer service - we were asked to wait 10 minutes at the desk as the receptionist was unavailable and the girl 'covering' the desk was apparently unable to check us in. This was very inconvenient as we had dinner reservations an were in a rush to get ready yet the girl at the desk said there was nothing she could do. Small bedroom and bathroom but quite well decorated. Windows don't open but there is air conditioning.

Modern, convenient hotel on Kilburn High Road

I recently enjoyed two nights at the Quality Maitrise Hotel in Kilburn. The hotel is very conveniently located on Kilburn High Road, in Zone 2 near to both Kilburn High Road Overground and Kilburn Park Underground stations. Having the Overground nearby was great for getting to and from Euston mainline station as it was easier than the tube with our luggage, and only takes 10 minutes. Kilburn Park is on the Bakerloo line and takes about 15 minutes to get into town.
On arrival, check-in was quick and efficient, though we were given a room without a window to begin with. We called down to reception and were quickly moved to a better room (with a window!) without any fuss. I would have preferred this to have been mentioned when we arrived, and can't help thinking we got the dodgy room because we booked a cheaper rate through this website.
Our room, 302, was clean and compact, but big enough for two people and a suitcase, but very warm. The windows didn't open so we had to rely on the air conditioning to cool the room down; thankfully this worked well and by keeping the air conditioning on low overnight it wasn't too stuffy in there for us. The bed was quite comfortable, though the mattress was rather thin. We also didn't realise extra pillows were tucked away under the end of the bed - it would be handy for this to be mentioned when checking in. The shower in the bathroom was excellent, with a rainfall shower head above and a handheld one attached to the wall. The pressure and temperature were fantastic.
Overall I was pleased with my stay at the Quality Maitrise Hotel and would consider staying here again in the future.

NIce, clean hotel. Nicely decorated, very modern. Perfect location to jump on tube to central London. Only drawback is small rooms, but I think you get what you pay for in this regard.

After booking an executive room thinking that it would be better than a normal room I was shocked to learn that I was given a choice of shower or bath. This is because I normally stay in a standard double room which comes with a bath and shower ???
Then I was asked to pay 50 pounds deposit which I refused to pay as I have stayed here previously and never been asked to pay a deposit.
Late evening I rang for room service which clearly stated in the book room service/food finished at 1030pm and was informed it had finished and it was only 10pm. When I spoke to staff they offered me continental breakfast which was of no use as I was hungry at that particular point of the evening and I wasn't even offered a full English
In my view this hotel is a dressed up hotel but when u actually stay here time after time you will see the cracks appear .......... It doesn't deserve its rating

Very nice decor. Staff were very friendly and helpful...let us leave our bags behind on the last day so we could sight-see before leaving. Bed was quite hard/firm and rooms are quite small but still efficient. Bathroom could also have been a bit bigger, but other than that nothing to grumble about. Restaurant has lovely food and great service. Hotel is in a great location... across the road is the overground station and a 5 minute walk down the road is the underground/tube station. Lots of shops along the front and restaurants too. Would defenitely stay again.

Don't take valuables to bar or restaurant

I only stayed here for one night and ate in the restaurant. Everything was OK really - if a little pricey - but I'll never get my head around London hotel prices.
Only black mark was the woman on the next table had her handbag pinched over dinner in the restaurant. They have CCTV, so I hope it worked out for her, but emerged that it's by no means the first time. It's obviouisly a favourite haunt for thieves. So , be warned - do not take any valuables to the bar or restaurant.

Prison cell

Call me demanding if you like but, when I 'm paying £110 per night (reduced rate) for a hotel, I do expect the room to have a window. Not only was the room probably the smallest double room I have ever stayed in, but there was no window at all. This was not mentioned at the time of booking.

Great hotel, but rooms for improvements

The hotel is newly renovated and well designed interior. The free WIFI is fast , but keep on disconnecting after 2 hours of usage - really annoying. Bathroom could be much improved in terms of becoming more environmental friendly. Huge water consumption when taking shower, soap in small bottles and towels exchanged every day. Waste of resources. Breakfast was not included in the price.

Far too hot and couldn't open window

The hotel was clean and modern and would have been okay were it not for a very significant factor: it was far too hot. This was so even with the 'air conditioning' turned down as low as it could go and unfortunately I was unable to open the window at all. Also I thought that for an extremely basic room and with no breakfast included £119 and £129 per night respectively was very over-priced, particularly given the location which is not exactly in the centre of London.

A good quality hotel at a very reasonable price

What a pleasant surprise! A London hotel at the low end of the price range but a modern, thoughtful environment - clean, with high quality furniture and fittings and really helpful staff. Nice sense of design throughout. Quiet. Room quite small but very comfortable. Not quite central (Maida Vale/Kilburn), but close to Bakerloo tube, so 15 minutes from the West End. Usually have to pay much more for this quality (or expect much less for this price), so will definitely use this hotel again.

Diabolical

You call yourself a 4* hotel - I call it diabolical. I had been at work all day , travelled up only to find you resturant had closed to hours earlier than its advertised time. So I had to get my ' dinner' from tesco express. I would expect a 4* hotel to have toothpaste at reception should you forget it, but we again had to go to tesco express to purchase some toothpaste. If I had stayed in that room before the price had been reduced, I would have been disgusted with standard of hotel taking in consideration the large price tag. I would reccomend that no one should book at this hotel, also parking down a side street was required as the parking offsite that was advertised was closed again earlier than expected.
