Good value for the 75 deal. Rooms clean but a little cramped. Not made aware of the need to put the door key card into the air con to activate it - led to a hot room.
Meal in attached restaurant excellent, the best noodle dish I have ever had. Worth staying for the food.
Continental breakfast good.

Staff were not keen to help, The room was a dissapointment small half the ligts didn't work, Tv worked only when it felt like it, and if you are in any of the rooms around the 100 mark you will not get much sleep. Overall one of the worst experiences i have had in a hotel. Not child friendly and you don't get much sleep to the music being so load which is on until 3am. THere must be better hotels about who care about the customers.

Air conditioning worked but only goes to a certain level so I imagine on a hot day the room could get hot.
Shower fantastic but TV remore not the most user friendly or full of batteries!
My main issue was that the hotel is still going through refurbishments so some parts are lovely and some like a building site
At 1.00am the fire alarm went off and then proceeded to go off another 10 times in the next hour
To his credit the hotel manager knocked 30% off my bill before I raised the issue myself and was very ploite and apologetic
In summary - nice staff and trying hard but still a long way to go to justify a 4 star hotel

We phoned the hotel to say that we would be arriving very late and askedf this was a problem. They said no problem reception is open 24 hours and didn't take our name. Arrived at 2.40am and was told they had no double rooms left as we were late and they had resold our room. Offered us a single room which was a very small single at that. They then found us a double so we had to move rooms. The hotel is brand new and nicely decorated, but the rooms - even the double was VERY small. Breakfast was continental only and no way the claimed 4* quality. Hotel is bascially ok at late rooms rate as a crash pad in london after a night out, as long as they don't give away your room!!!

A very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The room was gorgeous, albeit a little on the small side. Lovely fixtures and fittings and I loved the fact it had an ipod docking station in the room. My one gripe was that when we arrived it was only half cleaned - someone had obviously started it then maybe gotten sidetracked!? Also, it could have done with a bit more time spent on finishing touches by the contractors; this place is obviously so new there is still building work going on, its just a shame there was still grout and silicone left on the tiles in the bathroom. But amazing value for money!

Nicely presented and clean hotel. This new hotel has been finished to a high standard. Staff are helpful and friendly. Shower was wonderful - could have stayed in there all day. Considering the hotel is on Kilburn High Street and its bar is popular at weekends, the sound insulation is excellent and we were not disturbed by noise. Air conditioning removed any need to open the window. Conveniently situated near Kilburn Park tube station and on regular bus routes. Our only criticism is with the inclusive breakfast. Not enough crockery out on both mornings, ran out of juice and bread before the service was over (get up early). The choice was very limited. Not got a problem with continental but this is a misnomer. Essentially the breakfast is cereal, toast and jam; cured meats etc had to be bought separately along with cooked/full English choices. We stayed on a special cheap rate so got value for money, but breakfast affects value if you are paying full rate. Still a good choice of hotel overall.

The hotel rated itself with 4 stars, I think this is a little exagerated. The hotel is new so everything was very clean and neat, but the double room was quite small and you could not open the window, you had only the air condition to count on. If you're out of the room the aircondition is switched off automatically, so when you come back to the room after hours there is hardly any air to breathe

This hotel was very new and tastefully furnished. However upon our arrival work was being carried out at the fron of the hotel which was extremly noisy and dusty. However this did not affect our stay.
Breakfat was buffet style simple but good despite the toaster constantly billowing clouds of smoke.
Staff very helpful rooms well kept and clean.
Possible a little too far out for central London but served a purpose for our visit to Wembley station.
Would visit again when attending wembley concerts. A good 7 out of ten

Plus points - The hotel allocated us a quiet executive room at the back of the hotel away from the main road as requested, and the air conditioning was a blessing on this warm evening. Good English breakfast (but with turkey bacon not pork) and friendly, helpful staff.
Minus points - The Executive rooms are described as having a King size bed but this is NOT true - all the rooms have queen size beds. The only difference in the Exec room is getting a cooked breakfast so we would have booked the standard room if we'd realised. At breakfast there was a long wait for the coffee flask to be refilled. Other than that it was in a convenient location - walking distance from the BBC studios and close to the Bakerloo line, and a fair price for London.

Nice cosy room. If I was a premiership footballer or an MP entertaining a few ladies of the night then there would have been a struggle on the bed for room. Everything you needed was in the room and it was very clean.
Looks like staff are still in training mode as it looked like there was alot of head scratching going on but I got my bottle of wine eventually.
There was still building work going on but mostly cosmetic although while we was at breakfast a chap was just behind me drilling and at one point I was sure he was going to ask me to hold his tape.
Be aware that B&B includes a continental breakfast. I was asked what I would like and I ordered a full English and kippers for the missus. When he took our order he said that would be extra for hot breakfast. I looked at my missus and said enjoy your Pan d chocolat. Avoid the embarrasment of a crying lady at the breakfast table longing for kippers.

The hotel was good value for money, in an excellent location, fantastic transport connections and (free!!) access to the local Bannatyne's was great. The only problem was some slight disturbance with ongoing 'snagging' work which led to some disruption to using the lifts. The hotel was overbooked and several customers who had their bookings confirmed found that they were unable to have a place to stay. This hotel should not be listed with laterooms as it would give you a bad name. I had my accommodation confirmed by lateroom. On Tuesday, I stayed in the hotel for 1 night and the receptionist spent 18 minutes talking on the phone before attending to me. He then offered me the wrong room etc. The rooms are small for the price being charged and every customer is better off staying at Premier Travel Inn. The hotel may have the latest mod cons in the room but what is the point when you had no space to bring in a bag. The table provided is too small for a laptop to sit on and the chair provided as a workstation chair is really meant for a child (low). The hotel has potential but they should be realistic with the prices of their rooms and the fact that Marriot and So Quartier are next door neighbours with better facilities. Definitely will not book this hotel again and prefer to sleep at the bus stop. No value for money and management is poor.

The hotel is meant to describe itself as a chic or boutique place but do not expect too much. Still under decoration with very small rooms - executive room is large enough to accomodate a cat. Receptionist is very poor and requires training, a lot of it. The owner should spend time comparing other hotels before setting a realistic price. Better to stay at Premier travel inn in Wembley and have a much better space to swing the cat.

Welcoming incoming receptionist - off-hand outgoing (no thank you when I paid my bill!) Pseudo modern room that I liked. Bed & bed linen were lovely - slept so well and the shower was to die for!!! Down side: a dark room that looked out over a junk yard & a jazz band playing in the restaurant that no-one had advised me was going to happen (I was there to prepare for an important meeting the next day!) Called room service for ice - 45 mins called again! The welcoming receptionist arrived with a pint glass of ice, apologising as the staff were all too busy in the restaurant! Extremely poor buffet breakfast. A new hotel heading in the right direction but more emphasise needs to be put in to the hotel rather than just the restaurant trade.

Even though there are small technical problem to be fixed, like the main electrical slot and internet server being down, we had a really good experience staying there.

Me an d my girlfriend went to stay at the quality matirese hotel, we went for a long weekend in London to celebrate her birthday. Our first impressions of the hotel we really goo, very welcoming and stylish.
However we were dissatisfied with the hotel as it did was not as it was advertised. Firstly we had to check in to our room a lot later than expected (This was not that bad as there are lots of shops around).
When we got to our room we found it had one window, this was to an office next door (as you can imagine we were not happy about this. The hotel stated that the rooms were soundproof, not only could we here all the activity in the bar downstairs- we were woken up at 7am by a man in the office next door on the phone, typing on his computer and joking around with another colleague. When i told the receptionist this was not what the hotel website stated and was unacceptable she tried to fob me off with an out of date 10% off the restaurant voucher. They made no effort at all to improve our stay.
In the morning the maid came in and opened the curtains (to the office) this was quite funny.
The food in the restaurant is very good however i did see one of the bartenders take a sip of a customers drink before serving it.
I would defiantly not recommend this hotel.

Positives:
Staff friendly and helpful
Excellent, efficient aircon
Large and well spec'd bathroom
Negatives:
Room small - hardly big enough to pass as a double
Some of the services advertised not available yet: minibar not available and no room service.
The breakfast was a fairly limited continental buffet
Maybe there's still work to be done, but some of the finish was poor such as chipped plaster around switches. I kept imagining Sarah Beeny's voiceover saying this isn't good enough for a luxury finish
Overall reasonable for 79 for one night. Nowhere near worth 200+ though

If we'd paid over night to stay here...
If we'd paid over 200/night to stay here, we'd have been really disappointed. We actually paid about 80/night, and so our expectations were a bit lower.
The hotel isn't finished yet. This is obvious as soon as you walk into reception and see that a set of stairs are boarded up. Check-in was allegedly possible from 2:00, but we arrived at about 2:20pm and our room wasn't available for another 10 mins. Reception was quite efficient. We went up to our room and couldn't find it... no signs outside the lift to tell you which way to go. Luckily, a passing builder pointed us in the right direction!
The room was quite small. We we were only staying for 2 nights, so it didn't matter, but it would have been very cramped if we'd had large suitcases. All the fittings were to a high standard, though we did notice that there wasn't an iron in the room or any kind of information pack. There was a really great shower, but to save space the towel rail was mounted over the loo... this meant that my wife couldn't reach to put her towel back on the rail after using it!
The bed was good, with a comfortable mattress. The curtains blacked out the light quite well, though the doorcard slot next to the door glowed a bit bright.
The continental breakfast was nothing fancy but was perfectly adequate. An English breakfast (using Turkey bacon, presumably because there's no such thing as Halal pork!) was available for 6.95 but we didn't partake!
The builders started making noise at about 9.15am. It didn't matter to us, because we were on our way out by then, but don't book this hotel in the next few months if you want a long lie in.
To summarise, this will be a good little hotel when everything is finished, but it clearly needs a bit of time to settle down. The staff were all cheerful and friendly.

The Customer service was excellent till the last day. Having notified the Hotel that we would check out late at 1400hrs on Sunday another chap called us at about 1345hrs and quizzed us about why we had not checked out at 1200hrs as stipulated.
My wife explained to him that I had requested for a late checkout with someone at the front dest that morning and handed him over to me. i just resented his tone as it was accusatory and non-believing.
It is extremely unusal for us to be treated like that, ever. i described the tall very helpful chap in a striped pink tie that had authorised the late checkout at which time the new Desk manager that I had never seen before relented.
Needless to say that the incident ruined what had previously been a very nice stay.
I will answer yes to the questions below because it is not fair to the hotel that one bad apple should keep me away.

The Management of this hotel aims to provide good service. It was in the final stagesbof construction and fitting out. The hotel was due for its official opening a day or so after we stayed for two days. As a result of its incomplete state we paid 69GBP per night. It is intended that the rate will be in excess of 200GBP per night after the opening. The room we occupied was a basic double bedroom; only one chair despite two occupants; a refrigerator which the guest could not use; and only one lift. The room is worth 69GBP and nothing could justify the 200+GBP. Staff are helpful; breakfast excellent, entrance attractive and decor tasteful. However, it is located in a not so attractive Kilburn High Road and is a middle of the range hotel with a top of the range price

Me and my partner had a lovely time and would use the hotel again on any future visits to London. The hotel was finished well and exceptionally clean, especially considering there was some ongoing building work in the lobby. The staff catered to our every need and were very friendly. The food was very nice and the kitchen even managed to cook us something up after serving hours. We payed 91 a night and at that price i think we received what we payed for although if we had paid the full 225 a night we would have been disappointed to find unfinished work. The hotel was in what seemed to be an upcoming area with lots of renovation going on between the well placed tube station and the hotel and we could get in to central London within 10-15 minutes. Overall We were very pleased and would love to thank the wonderful staff for maknig our stay so comfortable. We wish them all the best in the future and hope they manage to get the builders out soon.
