Summary
Good value clean room; breakfast good; staff very helpful
Summary
Good basic hotel but was on 1 st floor room and had to suffer the night staff watching a LOUD TV all night long. So a sleepless night in a rather uncomfortable bed.
Summary
Clean room with very large comfortable double bed. Excellent customer service. Booked and paid for 2 nights but stayed a little over 1 night and easily got a refund with no fuss which I was very pleased with.
Summary
Great location for the tube just outside the congestion zone. Parking was a bonus and although spaces are limited there was enough space for me. The hotel is fairly basic but has everything needed for one or two nights and the breakfast was very nice,
Staff also very polite and friendly.
Would definitely consider staying there again with the rate found on late rooms.
A very convenient hotel.Friendly and welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean, simple accommodation. Sunday breakfast was not of good quality but the price was very reasonable and you can't have everyhting !
Summary
Although we only stayed one night we found the Hotel staff to be pleasant and friendly and the room sufficent for our stay. We arrived early has I had some business in London but were allowed to book in and access our room and the breakfast next day was first class.
Summary
Thia hotel was in a good location a few mins from the tube stn and the bars/restaurants of the little O2 centre. Also no road noise as its just off the main road. The hotel was fine but I wouldn't say it was worth any more than £60/70 a night. I had the feeling that it had been a nice place but now needed some TLC. It's part of a chain though so hopefully it'll get it!
Quality of cooked breakfast wasn't great quality, a bit canteen food-ish, but there was plenty of it, and the waiting staff were good.
The room was clean with a tv, decent shower and comfy bed, all you need for a one or two night stay in the capital.
The hotel is situated on a quiet side street with a small car park allocated on a first come first serve basis. It is ideally located for someone wishing a clean, comfortable base to visit London. Do not expect frills however its comfortable bar area and good buffet style hot breakfast made up for its slightly tired look in some of the communal areas. If you expect the Savoy then pay Savoy prices but if you want a reasonably priced hotel in a good location this one fits the bill perfectly.
Summary
I have stayed here on many occasions and enjoy evry stay.
The hotel is in a prime location for London and the Staff are very helpful.
It's cheap, clean and in a good location. It's not going to blow your socks off, but I can't fault the location. Everything is nearby and they have free WI-Fi.
Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly.
A very comfortable room, though parts of it could have done with a clean. Breakfast very good, with wide selection of food.
Will visit again.
The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful, although breakfast is set and you are not asked what you would like. So if they manage to sort this problem out and maybe have self service on continental and then a menu for cooked this would make the place perfect.
Summary
Unfortunately, we are unable to comment further as we were both stricken down by a stomach bug en route to the hotel. However, the room was good, the staff friendly but we couldn't avail ourselves of any facilities as we were quite poorly. Nothing to do with the hotel!!!
Summary
Charmless receptionist when I arrived. No room service although usually available I was told when I
checked out. Lift door very heavy to open and close. Smoking obviously going on in smoke-free corridor.
This hotel was excellent for a weekend stay and we even got free parking, which is a bonus for London. The only down side was the Receptionist who was not very friendly!
Summary
This is a smart, clean and well managed hotel in Finchley, north west London and immediately off the A41 Finchley Road. It provides free car parking on a first come first served basis so is ideal for visiting London by car. Getting around London is aided by the Finchley Road tube station only being a short way away. Just across the road from the hotel is also the O2 shopping and leisure centre where meals can be gained even needed after the full English cooked breakfast that is part of the package. Quiet room asked for and given. Excellent stay enjoyed.
Summary
Very impressed with this hotel. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful on our arrival and during our one-night stay. They provided us with directions to a nearby destination and booked a taxi for us which was prompt and reasonably priced. Breakfast was excellent - a wide variety of hot and cold buffet-style foods to suit all tastes. The bedroom was a bit small and cramped - we needed a third bed for our 14 year old son - but for a short break this should not be a problem and it would not deter us from booking this hotel again. We would recommend this hotel to other people.
Summary
People of reception are not friendly and nice. The cleanliness was the best. the breakfast very boring, having ten days the same meal but the waitres were o.k and polaid. It is a formal hotel but not friendly.
Summary
Breakfast was a little disappointing and I found the waitresses too reluctant to serve me a second cup of coffee. Also, service in the bar could have been better: the person did not speak very good English and was unable to give me a slice of lime in my gin & tonic.
Summary
The bed in this room was very uncomfortable. The mattress lacked any firmness and the base creaked badly. Due a change I think!
Summary
On arrival at the Quality Hotel Hampstead, we waited for more than 5 minutes for the Receptionist to acknowledge us, she didn't greet us nor welcome us to the hotel. She continued using the keyboard of her computer for the whole time we were waiting to check in and totally ignored us. When she finally looked up from what she was doing, she asked if we wished to check in! She then demanded payment in full for our two nights' accommodation before we had even seen our room, no please or thankyou, no manners at all. Wherever we have stayed this is the first time full payment has been required before issuing of the keys for the room. The staff in the hotel all seem to suffer from the same problem in greeting customers - in the 3 days, 2 nights we stayed at the hotel we never got so much as a "Good morning" or "Good evening" from anyone. The staff in the breakfast room were more polite but not exactly friendly or welcoming. The breakfast itself was adequate, nothing remarkable, just okay. It is unlikely we would stay at this hotel again.
Summary
Small fairly modern hotel in a leafy lane about 5 minutes walk up the (very) busy Finchley Road. Not a very exciting part of North London but you can walk up to Hampstead in 10 - 15 minutes,
Decent sized bedroom, windows that open wide but the carpets could do with an upgrade.
Breakfast in the inevitable basement roon with no windows.
Pleasant helpful staff.
Excellent location and room. Good value for money.
Summary
Sadly i asked for a quiet room and although i was on top floor - they put me near the lift which was very noisy and there was a rattling fan or something in the morning. Worst of all when i mentioned this to the manger he just shrugged and said sorry - the fact that i wasn’t able to sleep just passed him by. Breakfast was poor
Summary
Fantastic location for Finchley Road tube station,5 stops from Westminster, wonderfully priced (we would definately stay again), rooms small but very clean, breakfast was very good- wide choice of cereals, rolls and cooked fry-up for the hungry traveller!, small car park although we managed to find a parking space on arrival, the only down-side to our stay was the unwelcoming receptionist but i guess you can't have everything!! For the amount of time we spent in the hotel (crawled into bed at night after a long days sightseeing, then up early the following morning for more sightseeing) the comfort and location was unbeatable!!
Summary
I stayed here for the first time. The hotel is very conveniently placed very near Finchley Road tube station and the Overground station at Finchley Road and Frognal. The hotel could be described as basic but it's clear they are keeping it clean and updating it. the reception was very friendly, the room fairly basic but clean and a recently updated bathroom and, very importantly, it was quiet! The breakfast, which was included in the room price, was fine and plentiful and the breakfast room service was prompt and friendly. Don't be put off by its location- it's very close to the West End and in a very upmarket area of North London. I shall stay there again.
Summary
We used to live in West Hampstead and are familiar with the area that this hotel is located in. I always use laterooms to book a hotel in Hampstead and this hotel is always full for our trips to London - I can see why!! Excellent value for money in great location. Rooms were tidy and clean and en suite bathroom cleaner and better than some recent 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Staff very attentive and food was excellent - better scrambled eggs here than at home...
Summary
This hotel is ideally located to explore Hampstead and the surrounding area. Tale a walk up Frognall to see if you can see any celeb's or just to view some very expensive properties. The hotel itself was of a good standard, very clean and the staff were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and is an ideal opportunity for hotel users to 'stock-up' for the day and avoid having to pay expensive London prices for food. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay in a good hotel and I would not hesitate in staying there again in the future.
Summary
Handy for tube cinema restaurants and free parking a bonus
Summary
Very comfortable, clean, unpretentious hotel and service. The only slight problem is the limited parking, but overall very good value for money, especially for London.
Summary
Excellent all round accomodation for cleanliness efficiency and food.

Summary
Good value and location.Very helpful and pleasant staff. Good standard accomodation and en suite facilities.
Summary
Excellent hotel. Bar stayed open late and staff were friendly. Decent cooked breakfast included, as was parking. Easy to get to from North Circular. Some decent restaurants within a couple of minutes walk - we tried the Hellenic place and it was absolutely superb.
Summary
The room was ok - though the decor was rather outdated and in need of a fresh lick of paint. There were things not working - the freeview on the television for example, and it was a smoking room which as a non-smoker I found an issue. Apparently this was something I should have specified on my booking. The receptionist wasn't particularly helpful when I asked about the possibility of another room and he seemed rather disinterested in the task of serving customers. Breakfast was just about ok - but the plates were cold for the hot buffet and I had to request a refill for coffee rather than having a separate cafetiere as I think is now the norm. The serving staff were efficient if giving the impression of being very hassled.

Summary
Room small but clean, double bed not King size. carpet ok, bathroom good - bath and shower. Cleaners visited every day and kept it clean too. The furniture was a bit shabby - varnish worn away from constant cleaning I suppose! Breakfast included - unusual for London, buffet with plenty of choice, most food good but croissants cold. Service at reception and at breakfast pretty good too.
Summary
This hotel appears to be trying hard and while I thought it provided value for money, the standard of housekeeping let it down a little. There were red wine stains on the sink, easily removed with a tissue and the taps and pipework in the shower would have benefitted from a rub with a dry cloth. The hotel was peaceful apart from a number of juvenile workmen hanging out windows, smoking and throwing things at each other. Not a significant problem unless you had to occupy the room after them. I hope the hotel charge them for getting rid of the smell of smoke. Why is it some growm men can't behave when away from home? The breakfast room was very clean and there was a good range of fresh food. THe reception staff were friendly and the otel id easy to find if you know to turn right when you come out of the tube station. This could be a very good value for money hotel with a bit more attention to housekeeping and by being more certain of what type of customers they want to cater for.
Summary
A gem very clean ,quiet hotel ideal for a short stay. Staff very helpful. Good car parking plenty of places to eat close to the hotel.
