People who have not fully explored Britain’s capital may want to book into cheap London hotels during March to take advantage of a new festival exploring east London.

The East event will bring cultural and creative organisations from this side of the city together and showcase some of the talent from the region as well as celebrating its history.
Running from March 4th to 9th, East will cover a number of themes, including architecture, minimalism, travel and the Asian subcontinent.
A number of the exhibitions and events will be taking place at the Museum of London Docklands, including several walking tours that begin at the establishment.
People who want to get a good picture of London’s architecture may want to book a place on the Docklands art and architecture tour, which will take in historical sites – such as the only two warehouses to survive the Blitz – and the modern buildings of Canary Wharf.
