Summary
Only let down by the noise from a pub club next door. Got no sleep.
Summary
The room was clean and tidy with 4 comfy beds. we had access to everything we needed inc. shower, iron, tv, off road parking and more. We had a great stay there. My only criticism was the water pressure of the shower could have been better. Easy link to Elephant & castle tube (amongst others) and local shops including Tesco metro. the staff were friendly and had no problem with us returning at 4-5 am.
Summary
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was lovely and clean. The only problem we had was the noise. The walls seemed very thin, we were often woken up by people coming in at night, or leaving early, the cleaners or people chatting, no matter how quietly. But aside from that everything else about our stay was perfect so it was a small price to pay for great service.
Summary
Hotel itself was absolutely fine. Only problems for us were the walk from any Tube station - is around 20/25 mins from either Elephant & Castle or London Bridge. Also the location is a bit 'dodgy'. Groups of louts hanging around on streets drinking at anytime of the day, not that safe feeling if it had been females alone you would be worried for them.
Summary
The hotel is a fair distance from the tube, however there are buses which makes it easier, unless you have a lot of luggage.
The room was ok to look at, however the bed had a plastic sheet underneath which meant I didnt sleep as I was sweating and the pillow was a brick so I woke up with a bad neck. This was not good as I had an important meeting the next day. The staff didnt book the taxi I needed to get to this important meeting on time and I had been quoted £11 and when I arrived told £16 this is not good service or communication. No I would not stay again
A clean, spacious, quiet room. An adequately roomy, well lit bathroom with functional shower facilities though the toilet flush was a little temperamental. Good value at the reduced rate of £69. I did not try the breakfast which at £10 looked pricey.
Summary
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The hotel is value for money compared to many hotels in London, however no breakfast is included in the price and parking adds to the cost at £10 per day. Disappointed that we mistakenly left behind a brand new pair of suit trousers bought for my son's wedding. Rang the morning after we left and were told that the trousers had not been found. Finding this hard to believe I sent an email also but to date have not received any reply. We would probably stay here again and would probably recommend to a friend but would strongly suggest that they completely check the room before they left as will we in future.
Summary
My single booking gave me a family room, so loads of room. Certainly a budget room but for £59 what can you expect. The guys on reception fell over themselves to be helpful which was nice. In the downside there was no socket next to the mirror to use my own hairdryer and one of the windows in my room would not shut - not too much of an issue but not secure.
Summary
I would not recommend this hotel.
No dinner available.
Breakfast is provided but terrible quality.
No Wifi except at rediculous prices.
Only 2 reaturaunts (or cafes) within walking distance. There are however a multitude of kebab shops.
Parking at £15 overnight - this must be used due to red parking areas around hotel and less than safe neighbourhood.
Room was clean but small and clinical.
