Lovely stay

I was very impressed with the hotel. Then I went to check in and was told that the bit I was in was actually the four star bit! The five star bit was even better!
The room was lovely and peaceful and apart from there being a few too many sharp corners for a youngster, it was very nice and if I could afford it, I'd return there.
Only two things I would take issue with. I thought we had booked a river view, yet it was pointed out that we hadn't and this would cost an extra £20. This should have been made clearer at time of application.
The other issue is the minibar. Why would anyone in their right mind pay £5 for some nuts or £3 for a can of coke when there is a Tescos just around the corner? If minibar items were reasonably priced, they might sell some of them once in a while!

From the Moment you walked into the Hotel you was made so welcome.. the Door Man to Reception was 1st Class, on the room unless you are picky and want a view then this was not the room but as we was easy the room was so comfortabke although the heat was extreme at times we had to keep the wndow open at all times and very rarely slept under the duvet until around 4am ...but the room was great the bathroom and shower brilliant and very clean...we had a meal in the chino which was again first class the Waiter was brilliant .. full english breakfast beautiful....drinks a little rich but not uncommon for London...we was so happy at this hotel i fail to see where anyone can not enjoy this perfect city location.. we often walked to the city centre for the shows 25 Mins tops and only 15mins to the London Eye...just perfect a very very big thank you to the whole staff and experience.

Plaza on the river - an absolute delight - I'll never stay anywhere else again.

I jumped on the train, knowing I had to find accommodation for at least 3 nights, armed with a Mac and a map of London.I based my criteria on reviews (like this one) ease of access to London and lastly, price. I stayed in the serviced apartments with "restricted view" - meaning looking onto each other rather than the Thames.
The apartment had a lovely double bed, a bathroom with shower, a seating area to work, a plasma TV, a fully furnished and equipped kitchen, more storage space than I have at home and was fully air conditioned. It was clean and tidy and modern enough to be called contemporary.
The bar and restaurant were nice, not rip off city, and the chinese/japanese/thai food was good quality.
I cant even think of anything at all to give a bit of negative feedback about - I had a convenient base - the other side of the river means its a little bit out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything - good food, a few drinks in the bar, a nice meal or two and on my final day - room service full english.
Awesome - dont stay anywhere else

Great views, central position

Great place to stay whilst site-seeing. Corner room had views across to Westminister and the London Eye and balcony overlooked Thames. Friendly staff , would recommend.

A great find on the river bank

This is a lovely apartment hotel! The accomodation is definitely of a 4/5 star standard - the beds are comfy, the bathrooms are very modern and clean, the furniture is also modern. There are flat screen tv's in every room and a small kitchenette with a fridge & small freezer, a washer/dryer and a small dish washer- very convenient when you have 4 kids to look after. During our stay, nothing has been too much trouble - a screwdriver for christmas toys, someone to iron our clothes, extra cleaning........... There is also a sofabed in the lounge.

Plaza on the river

I really loved staying here. It was the perfect blend of apartment and hotel - a lounge and kitchen but still being able to send for room service, ask for a porter and the suite was serviced twice daily to a very high standard.
Both the lounge and bedroom had huge picture windows offering a wonderful view of the Thames. Unfortunately, I was at the opposite side from the Houses of Parliament but would love to stay again in the future and perhaps can have this view next time.
