Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel and Spa Reviews

After booking this room six weeks before we were due to go, we arrived on the day at the hotel only to be told that it was overbooked and we had been sent an e mail the day before! As I don't check my emails every day I didn't know they had done this at the last minute, I was told we were being sent to a different hotel in Mayfair, which was not a spa hotel but could have a free breakfast! I said this wasn't good enough as it was our anniversary, and I chose this hotel because it had a spa, after saying I didn't want to go to another hotel and we had just parked the car for twenty four hours in the carpark nearby they said that we could stay at the Pestana after all! confusing ! We then got an executive suite on the 10th floor which was fab! I think because I booked with LateRooms and got a reasonable price, the Pestana were not willing to give us the room! It's a lovely hotel though and great facilities, but be careful to check your emails before you go !!

Great hotel, a little off the beaten track. Brilliant view of Battersea Power Station and the train lines next door might not be to everyone's liking but we loved it. The trains didn't wake us at all even though they ran all night long.
Impressed with the little extras - new shampoo/shower gel bottles every day. Shower was amazing, overhead and sideways nozzles. King size bed with comfy duvet. They're doing their bit for the environment by choosing to change towels every 2 days.
Fantastic views over London to the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and the "Gherkin". Staff were very friendly and helpful, food okay not much choice at bar. Breakfast excellent, good choice of continental and cooked and you can pay extra for waffles and pancakes.
Would definitely stay there again.

Staff are very helpfull and freindly, accomadation excelent, facilities excelent, rooms are spotless. only question would be; is it easier to walk to Vauxhall station or Sloan square as Sloan square with your bags is a good ten minuet walk.

Helpful staff, comfortable tho the beds weren't the solidest I've ever slept in! We both enjoyed the spa pool and steam room.. The pool is small but very quiet so plenty for me. Very friendly staff and the therapist we both saw was extremely kind and good at her job. I wish hotels wouldn't charge so much extra for breakfast but it was good with plenty of choice. Car park next door not affiliated so £20 per night.

A modern hotel in a good location, just a short walk from the central attractions/locations in London. A high standard of accomodation and facilities and a reasonable price

Excellent! Wonderful hotel and friendly, helpful staff.

I only stayed for one night but could quite happily have stayed for longer! The room was really spacious with super comfy beds and good facilities. The hotel is big but still feels friendly and welcoming, largely due to the staff who were also very helpful.

We were attending the Pure Fashion show and wanted a hotel within easy reach of the venue. The Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & Spa met with all our expectations. Travel to and from was effortless and the hotel was worthy of its rating. Many thanks to all the staff for an excellent stay.

We had a really great time at the Pestana. only stayed 1 night but the quality and service was above our expectation.
there are a few little niggles like, how come everyone has to pay for wi-fi, free in the lobby but £5 for an hour in your room !.
The rooms are of a generous size, all modern decor (depending on your taste) with the bathrooms being to a high spec with a seperate bath and shower.
if you have breakfast, there is a waffles and omlettes menu but no one seems to let you know about this. it would make up for the watery scrambled egg as your only egg option.

The hotel wasn't clearly signed, breakfast was £14.50 if booked on the day of arrival which I thought was heavy, the room had no ironing facilities. It's right next to the railway, so my wife didn't sleep too well (I didn't notice as I sleep better than she does). Parking was £14 - so as usual everything about visiting London was expensive. That's all the negatives out the way, the hotel was very well appointed and the bed was comfortable and I liked the modern design of the room. I would stay there again but would just be careful about all the costs. There are better deals to be had.

The hotel was modern and the service is excellent. I plan to stay again next time I am in London. A good hotel for a relaxing city break.

Excellent Hotel Choice

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lindon. The whole experience was excellent from the staff, to room, to food. It is excellent value for money considering the location.

Excellent hotel and friendly staff.

This hotel was ideally located for the venue we were to attend. The rooms were very well equipped and extremely clean. We were recommended this hotel by a friend and so were pleased to see it on the LateRooms site. Shame we didn't get to the use the Spa, which I am also reliably informed is very nice. Maybe next time!

The rooms were very clean and spacious. No noise from other rooms or from outside. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Area surrounding hotel was very clean and pleasant. Spa facilities were above average, good sauna and steam room but pool abit small and could do with more treatment options.

We checked in at 4pm to be told that none of the cheaper rooms were available, so we were upgraded to an Exec Suite on the 11th floor!! The two rooms were great, bed huge and very comfortable. There are cracking views over the Battersea Park and the Thames.
There was a 15 minute queue to check out at 11am the next day, but a very insginificant grumble given the quality of our stay!

The hotel staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, which is very comforting in such stressful times.
The room was immaculate, with soothing but modern decor, Fabulous feel of space within the room without being overwhelming.
The bathroom/shower room was spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Crisp white towels and matching crisp white robes added to the luxury.
I didn't have time to use the spa, but I will definitely return to the Pestan Chelsea Bridge, and indulge in some relaxing treatments.
Well done to all the staff for being so polite and friendly.

Superb experience, room was fabulous and customer service second to none.

When you have travelled miles its great to checked in by a helpful and friendly staff.
Room was clean, modern and comfy. Only slight issue is the distance from a tube if you need access.

Fantastic hotel, a little hard to find though as it's not sign posted from the road and set back in a cul-de-sac. Excellent facilities, room was lovely, very modern and stylish. Car parking was a little confusing, but sound once we'd worked it out (just park anywhere except the reserved bays - ignore the coloured zones). Didn't get chance to try out the pool or spa but will make the effort next time.

Faultless stay, but a hotel in london needs to sort out how it gets taxis for its customers. Oh and the pool doesnt open until 8am which is no good for business travellers. Otherwise a great stay.

The hotel was fine for what I needed.
The room had not been hoovered properly and I noticed bits of rubbish under the sofa.
Car Park handy.

Stayed overnight after attending a dinner in London that night. Cheaper rates on a Friday night made it a very good deal. The easy availability of a taxi was also very useful.

Fire alarm at 6 in the morning from some idiot smoking wrecked our stay.

Very nice hotel have been back again already. Pool closed part of first stay, be careful with on site parking charges costs a lot more if us car during stay. very nice breakfast. Some cheaper and free parking around park at weekends.

Stunning hotel. Excellent food, excellent service for such a new establishment. Only gripe was the location. Taxi fares became expensive and closest tube 20 mins walk away (I'm a fast walker") Would I stay again? Depends on my reason for travelling, no if Business as too far off the beaten track. Yes if pleasure but probably out of my price range!!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in London. Exceptional value for money considering the location, siza of the room, friendly staff and the very modern and new decor.

A good location for visits involving attractions and destinations near the river. Excellent room, with views over the water and the former power station. Large comfortable bed with well equipped bedroom and bathroom. Train noise from nearby railway lines could perhaps disturb light sleepers, but triple glazing kept the room quiet.

Excellent reception staff and restaurant service also very good. Few problems with housekeeping - took over an hour to get room service menu and maid attended twice without it. Slow delivery of ironing board too. Few teething problems for them to iron out but otherwise a first class hotel and enjoyable stay

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, it was outstanding, will stay again.

Excellent accomodation only issue we had was I sleep with the window open and it was very noisy - will select room at the front of the hotel next time though. I didn't bring any swimwear so I was unable to use the pool/sauna. Location was great.

If staying in central London this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in for location and quality.
The duty Manager Nelson Firmino was excelant he delt with our problems with no fuss and gave 110% thank you.

spa facilities unclear prior to use, had to go down in dressing gown and leave room key with attendant - meant couldn't use facility on day of departure after 11am otherwise very good hotel

The greeting and information provided by reception was excellent as was the
quality of the reception are the lifts were spacious and airy. The corridor was a
bit bland but I wasn't staying in the corridor. The room had a bit of a WOW factor.
Spotless and clean. The fancy sofa was lovely and comfy. The exercise bike was a lovely
touch. You just have to have a go don't you. Lovely. Keep at it.

Stayed for work, good little swimming pool etc and great staff. Room was excellent.

A good modern hotel in a good location. At a discounted price this hotel represents good value for money.
Rooms are a good size and well appointed and furnished. Beds are comfortable
Excellent spa - but it closes at 7pm on Mondays and weekends.
Guests need to check their bills carefully as there were several mistakes on mine.
